  I have reproduced a FLA with exactly the assets you have in the same places, with the code on the main timeline. And mine did not work, had just the same problem as you. The solution I proposed above will work, but it is not the only way (see number 2 below).

  On frame 1, select the UIScrollbar. If you look in the settings of your UIScrollbar component tab, you will notice that the scrolltargetName refers to Instance_0. It is a default instance name that is assigned by the compiler in Flash, because you do not give your dynamic textfield to an instance, and your UIscollbar that is referencing. Now go to image 4. You will find that your dynamic textfield carries the same instance name and the UIScrollbar made reference to the same instance. Problem is, you have more than one textfield on more than a framework using and by referencing the name of the instance, your UIScrollbars will get confused as to which textfield is in fact "Instance_0". The moment wherever you click on another frame, you have confused the UIScrollbar (s), so that they will never work again.

  The solution is simple.

  First of all, put a stop() on the first image, if you have not already done so, so your timeline remains in place until you click on a button.

  Then you can solve the problem in one of two ways:

  1. Give your textfields the various name and make sure that the scrolltargetName of each UIScrollbar property refers to its respective textfield.
  2. Or set the text dynamically, which is after all what is a dynamic textfield. Have only a textfield/UIscrollbar combo, on the first image and put the code on a keyframe for each section that changes the htmlText property or text of the textfield object.

  Of course you can do it. Under the Viewer is a slider that allows you to extend the timeline. Also, click settings and you will see a slider to change the size of the clamp.

  Welcome to the Forums.

  You just need to right-click on the imported clip in the project Panel, and select new sequence of the clip. You can also go to the file menu > new > sequence and create a sequence, then drag the clips after importation, in the timeline.

  Assuming you are using El Capitan, Dave is right. It is a known problem. It is listed on this page and a few other places as well. You have found a workaround. Another workaround solution found by the mofxtv user (in this thread) is docked to another court under your control panel mounting.
