  Looks a very basic thing to want to do, but impossible to find some sort of obvious way to do.

  Master page would certainly be a way to do it. Put the rframe on the master, then substitute ([Ctrl on windows] Cmd + Shift-click on the page docuent to release a Master object) to enter text or remove images or place text in the frame (without replacement) from an external file.

  I have a problem that lasts for 3 years, on both machines (a Mavericks and now El Capitan).

  Sometimes Apple Mail smtp server sends a message when I'm home, sometimes not. Sometimes, I've updated the smtp settings to add a server and change some thing, then Mail wouldn't send when I'm at work.

  I asked CE Office at work, they do not know what is happening and gave me what should be the right settings.

  I'm about two seconds of dumping Apple Mail for good, if I can find another application that's all good.

• Image text wrapping negatively affects the balanced paragraphs - need help

  I have CS5 - 5.  I'm no expert, but I am using the program for a number of years in the design of flyers, brochures, posters and short brochures. Now I'm on my first magazine and I thought that all the features balanced new paragraph would work a breeze - it didn't! So, I have a page of A4 size with a block of text in two columns that fills (have also the text flows on the next page if it's relevant). The text is 10pt with a line spacing of 12 pt. Everything is good so far. I used paragraphs balanced in a first time to have the two columns of text aligning horizontally. Seemed fine. However, as soon as I drop an image into the mix, the width of a column (lower left corner of the page), simple text wrapping, text changed less satisfactorily. Text above won't come down to meet the upper part of the image, no matter what I put in measures to wrap text or what kind of film I use. Also the text to the right of the image is more down to the bottom of the text block. The problem is further compounded when I integrate a quote as a separate object.

  Then I disabled the balanced paragraphs feature and used a grid of base line instead, taking up many of the suggestionson another discussion and also using advice elsewhere on the net. Useful in a sense that it helped me to learn more about what baseline grid but I am still with my problem.

  I could be wrong, but I don't think that I ask the program to do anything complicated. It's not as if the text should wrap around the object. I know that I could get the effect I want to using single column text blocks and get text to flow from one to the other, but it is certainly not how it should be? If you like I can send screenshots, but I'm not sure it would help. I write this in the morning in England so I know that many of you will still be sleeping. However, once you have had your first cup of coffee of the day, maybe you could give me a little help? Needless to say that any advice that anyone could offer would be warmly accepted.

  If I had to guess, by looking at your screenshots, I would say that you have a possibility to keep in your style on the last two lines of the paragraphs together and that there is not enough space to the bottoom of the image for more than two lines, but you do not have we shown the contours of the block.

  FM 10 Table of contents wraps ok unless the text makes just the end of the page goes at the beginning of the next line page number. If the text is longer, the text fits very well and passes right justified page number as it should.  What Miss me?

  I have developed a fix for this. It has been published several times in this forum, the search engine does not work, so I can't. I'll try to repeat it as much as I can remember.

  You need to redefine your TOC paragraph tags. In the paragraph Designer, select a tag table of contents. Select the Advanced tab. In the section on the wee, the Minimum value 275%, Maximum of 375% and Optimum 100%; CLEAR (uncheck) allow automatic tracking. Click Refresh all.

  REPEAT the above for each TOC paragraph tag.

  Then update your address.

  Normally, must be less than the Optimum, which should be less than Maximum. I have no idea what FrameMaker is no, but it seems trying to set between minimum and maximum word spacing; This allows to determine where the line breaks. Sets optimal spacing, which is 100%. The result is a line break characters to the left of the edge of the image. If the above settings do not enough give you pause, add 100% at a minimum and maximum, but NOT optimal; Optimum must always be 100%. If the break is too heavy, attempts to subtract 100% of the minimum and maximum.

  By programming your tags to TOC paragraph with these changes, the line break is automatic.

  MacBook Pro with OS X using 10.11.4, I find that when "Edit Text" is opened from the dock icon, a "Finder" page is implemented!

  If I then click on 'New Document' (lower-left), a normal empty "Text Edit" window will appear.

  To open in a document window TextEdit empty when you click the icon in the Dock of TextEdit:

  System Preferences > iCloud Drive > Options > Documents

  Uncheck "TextEdit".

  Click on 'done '.

  Now, TextEdit will open to a new empty document.

  

  

  I keep as a default and choose 'New Document' in the window that opens.

• Synchronized text works only on the pages of the BC module created in Muse?

  I get these errors strange collection showing where there should be synchronized text. The synchronized text was initially placed in the a-master page, and then a blog module was added to that specific page. The synchronized text works perfectly on the home page and on the mobile view, but on the page of the blog that contains the module blog of British Colombia, it broke.

  I'm new to Indesign and I am trying to write a long book that looks more like a catalog. I created a file of book (.indb) in which different files (.indd) are introduced.

  Each of these files represent a chapter. All chapters must have the same appearance and layout and I can use text and paragraph styles. But I would also

  to control the position of the blocks of text and images automatically from one master.

  Is this possible? Because now whenever I create a text block in the master, I can't change the text in the pages itselves. Self created an empty framework text, but then I can't

  Add text to the page. How can I make without changing each chapter one?

• Dreamweaver Tooltip text that appears in the Page

  Hi, I've built a Web page in Dreamweaver and when I saw it in DW spry ToolTips work fine. Then, when I download by FTP, it looks like this:

  The lines of ToolTip text I want to appear on the buttons at the bottom (it appears so fine when I discovered locally) appear at the top of the page. Could someone advise me please? I have tried to solve this problem for days and am about to start all over again.

  I guess it's something to do with the location of the js that are generated files, but I'm not familiar with the js. I can change the code in the html code and get where the spry widget code is placed, but nothing I tweek seems to help.

  I think that the home page has a different because the background of the ToolTip spry is white instead of black and the text is black.

  This will be done through the CSS, the js file will remain the same.

  Make sure that the unconditional branch has a sequence number greater than all other branches - Apex will use the first part, that it can find which corresponds to the current situation. I tend to use 999 for the sequence numbers of the unconditional branches.

• Hi, SEND my button has disappeared from my Apple Mail & procedure of customization of the DISPLAY toolbar displays the dialog box with no icon of the button SEND to drag-and - drop on my desk.

  I have an iMac 21 "and use Applemail. However, my mail SEND icon is spent on the missing list and raise VIEW / 'Customize toolbar' does not contain the icon SEND so that I could drag-and - drop to the right / top corner where it should belong. Any help would be welcome.

  PS My incoming mail has also stopped. Moderate P.C. Savvy.

• Apple Mail, do not synchronize with the server

  Lately, I've been a very frustrating time with Mail. The emails that arrive in my Inbox, I will switch to a personal folder or in the folder to archive. While in reality, they move to the folder selected, when I re - open the Mail app the next day, the same emails back in my Inbox. No matter how many times I move them, they always appear in the Inbox. I have not modified parameters.

  There is the v10.11.2 update that I got on 16 December. An update of Mail included in the present was below. Is this related? Anyone else getting the same question?
