  • When I tap the awesome bar or open a new tab.how can I open favorites by default rather than better sites?

    as the title

As the dedicated bookmarks manager is a separate window, you can do more precisely as you suggest. You can lock individual sites with the PIN in the upper left corner of each site on the new tab page, however.

  • Firefox is not retry downloads when I hit the retry button.

I go to download something and it will freeze and stop the download then I hit pause and then when I hit RESUME it comes up with a message saying that the path is not available or something and ends the download. then when I hit the retry button to retry the download it just goes through a quick scan and there, he finished with a partially downloaded file that nothing can be done for.

    This has happened

    Just once or twice

    == I am downloading a file video/part

Unfortunately, some downloads can be resumed. This is not a limitation in Firefox, but imposed by the company offering the download, because they usually do not want to download a file more than once. The only thing you can do in this case is to go back to the page where you got the download from and restart it from there.

  • How can I stop the page to reload automatically when I hit the back button?

A few months back, I upgraded to a new laptop, and since then, when I hit the back button, it refreshes the previous page from what I can understand. On my last laptop, if I was doing some research on a site and click the previous button, the search bar would be automatically ready to hit the BACKSPACE and delete what is there for a new search. Now, when I hit the back button, I have to manually click inside the search box to do, and I hate it. When you are doing research on multiple sites, like this time savers really help. This applies to regular sites (forums, online stores, etc.), not search like Google sites.

I don't have this problem on my old laptop and does not know how to solve this problem on this one. They are the two Win7 x 64, and version of the browser is not the issue. I started Firefox on this computer that same exact on the last of them, and after the updates, it's always the same. I am currently on 8.0 but will soon be upgrading to the new.

Do you mean that the search bar on this page focus?

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Can I disable the new shipment when I hit the back button

After you send a form (search form, say) and then by clicking a link on the page of results ("action"), I want to go back to the page of the form and change the criteria of form. However, when I hit the back button Firefox always want to re-post form data before I can go back further in history. Very clumsy. Is there a way to prevent this re-post and simply open the cached page?

Google Chrome altogether kindly view of a page instead of the page of 'action' of the form which gives you the opportunity to submit again, or you can simply click back to return to the page of the form. I don't think that Firefox should force you to submit a form if you just try to navigate back in your history.

I used to work around this problem by using the slot back button to choose the page of form directly, but the navigation/FF4 FF5 default buttons is not that much longer (that I can find anyway).

Is there a topic: config that will prevent this re - submit forced?

Use one of the following methods to open the history list and work around the page that gives the alert:

    • Right-click on the back or next button
    • Press and hold the left button of the mouse on the active back or forward button until the list opens

  • I open firefox, I get my home page more 3 more. Whenever I hit the home button I get 3 more information on the tab bar and it is based in 3 whenever I hit the home button. It's never happened before. What should do?

As I said whenever I open firefox I get 3 additional tabs to the home page. After that, whenever I hit the home button I get 3 more. Very fast, I got 1 million tabs and capabilities. I went to internet explore and connected and I have no problem. The only thing I can get from that is that I have a problem with firefox. I have been using firefox for a couple of years too.

  • Why do I get error 1122 to dequeue element loop of consumer when I hit the stop button

When I hit the stop button in the vi, stops of producer loop, the loop of consumer gets an error and stops without having read all the elements and then my status check queue loop will continue to run because he never goes to 0.

    Any help?

    matt198717 wrote:

I think that's what you were talking about.  If you have any advice or pointers for this VI please let me know.

    1. your consumer loop should use the Dequeue elements.

    2. your consumer loop should actually be freeing up the queue in the case.

    3. it is also useless for the polling stations see how many items is stored in the queue.

    4. your wait in the loop of producer should be that when there is no data in the buffer (you have it in the case of bad).

    5. do not use the value of the bytes to the Port reading VISA tell how many bytes to read.  Say you reading VISA to read more bytes that you always expect the message to be.  Let the stop character stop playback.

    6. use a VISA reading just after the initialization of your port to synchronize your messages.

Chances are th eemail link is a download option once.  After that, you probably need to go to your Adobe account online and look for an option to download it.

Depending on the version it is, you might be able to find a download link through one of the following links...

  • Hi, whenever I hit the home button on the current page go to my home page AND also opens another tab - I just want to go to my home page without having to open another tab that I then have to close. Any ideas?

I was just in Firefox 4. Now, whenever I hit the home the current page button goes to my homepage (which is what I want), BUT it also opens another tab - I just want to go to my home page without having to open another tab that I then have to close. Any ideas?

Gotcha. Go to your desired homepage and close all the tabs you want to NOT open when you click the home button. Then, you have several ways to update the home page setting as described in the article.

How to open 2 sites on start and 1 Web site when you click the home button?

You can change your shortcut on the desktop Firefox with two starting URLS. To try:

    • Shortcut on the desktop: right-click on the icon, choose Properties
    • Icon taskbar pinned: clic click right on the icon, right click in Mozilla Firefox, click on properties

Windows normally selects the shortcut tab. If this is not the case, go ahead and click on the shortcut tab.

You will see the target highlighted. On 64-bit Windows, which is usually either not less the following:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

For the specific shortcut launch pages, you can add them to the end, for example:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url "http://www.dilbert.com/" -url "http://www.gocomics.com/pearlsbeforeswine"

After OK'ing the Properties dialog box, you can test everything right now to confirm that Firefox is now launching a window with tabs. Either:

    • Double-click the shortcut on the desktop
    • right click on taskbar icon pinned, click Mozilla Firefox
