In Firefox 3.6.10 it is a save and the option exit when I stopped two opentabs, how do I get this in firefox 4.0.1?
When closing Firefox version 3.6.10 with two or more tabs open asked me "Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts? I then the option "Save & Quit", "Quit" or "Cancel". This doesn't seem to be available in Firefox 4.0.1. Is there a way I can get this option in Firefox 4.0.1?
Otherwise it looks like I'll have to continue with 3.6.10
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session" for the previous session.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.
Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox (Tools) > Options > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

You can check your extensions in case something snuck in. You can view and clear the page modules. Either:
- Command + shift + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.
Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

Firefox recently started opening new tabs when I click on search results how do I get this to stop
When I use Google and I click on a search result, it opens a new tab, where it used to just take me to a new page in the tab I was using, I searched on the tabs tab in options and saw I could choose to open in a new window, but I don't see an option to open it in the current tab. It started to arrive from nowhere.
Found a setting in Google that said to open all the result in a new window that I guessed that Firefox has been the substitution and open it in a new tab as suggested settings unchecked the box in Google and now the behaviour is back to normal.

Have to remind all bookmarks
Hello
Sorry to hear about this. First of all, Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be useful if your bookmarks are lost or missing.
- Click the Bookmarks button
(or
(> Favorites), select show all bookmarks.
- At the top of the library window, click on import and backup , and then select restore.
- Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
- In the new window that appears, click OK.
- Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.
For more information, see the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer . For alternatives, see the article of recover lost or missing bookmarks .
If the above does not work, it could be that a file has been corrupted (namely the places.sqlite file). You can install the extension of Maintenance of places to run maintenance on the file. Please read the following articles first, because they provide useful tips and instructions that may be useful for you:

Thank youHi Demberg, regarding your problem of message on the home page of firefox, I think that not fair to say that you can't remove it. Indeed, it is a message to get involved.

Downloaded and asked if I wanted to replace my current version, which I did. Then when I tried to open Firefox, it said that I could not use this version. I guess my old version has been crushed. When I go to the Mozilla page, it does not can I download anything that is compatible with my operating system. Is there a way to get an older version?
From Firefox 4, Mac must have an Intel x 86 processor (that you have) and OSX 10.5 or higher (you don't).
The good news is that Firefox 3.6.x supports even OSX 10.4 and Mac with Mac PPC or Intel architecture. The bad news is that the support for Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first half of 2012.
- System requirements: Firefox 3.6.x
- Download Firefox 3.6.x: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
- Also see-> http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+Firefox+on+Mac
Updating your OS x 10.5 or newer will allow you to use Firefox 10.

I tried malwarebytes, it can't find 'mywebpage' bugs, but I deleted them too. Also, I did a scan of my hard drive and remove five files that all "Babylon" they contain. It still comes back over and over again.
