In menu start Office my sleep button is inactive how can I turn it back on, it

I did something to disable 'Sleep' in the start menu, although his visible it does not allow me to put the computer to sleep. This is after receiving an option to do it which I hoped would eliminate something that froze my computer.

Even if the computer seems OK, I need to reactivate 'sleep' but cannot find anywhere to do?

Hello

1. the application or the program you used to disable the sleep button?

2. what exactly happens when you try to put the computer in mode sleep? You receive an error message?

I suggest you change the power Plan in Windows Vista and check if that does the trick:

Change, create, or delete a power plan (scheme)
