  Look at this file downloaded timetable, what is its file extension. The last 3 letters.
  If it is txt.
  Open your wordpad application > at the top of the file > open > use the pointer, and then select "text document (* txt) > navigate to the calendar file, select it > open."
  Now you should be able to read the calendar.
  If it is .rtf
  You should be able to open it with wordpad. Simply select Rich Text Format (* rtf).

  As a possible explanation, looks like you had a faulty cartridge or the low ink level.   If you have already restored the laptop back to factory settings and checked the correct keyboard layout the case is clear, your keyboard is faulty and should be replaced by a new one.
