In Photoshop, how can I change the background (Mount table) from black to white. I must have hit something because it changed suddenly mid-project and I cannot find anywhere in preferences to solve this problem.

  Change affects only the current active document. If it's "do" for all new documents, then something that it is a global setting that is caused. Close all your documents, and then set the parameter.

I found a few sources that say you can choose whether you use a managed version or a makefile when you create the project, but I have not found any this option in the latest version of Momentics (2.1).   This could be problematic. I guess or OE is over? This would make it easy.
   
  One thing you could do requires some manual work, but much less removal of dupes. For example, the Inbox. In the machine, you are going to scrap, create a new folder and move all messages in your Inbox to it. After you import on the other machine, you can drag the messages you need this folder in the Inbox, and then remove the user created the folder.

  On the view tab, select Conversations > Off. Then click on display a line below the list of messages. Right-click on a column heading to select the column, drag a column header to reorder the columns, and click on a column heading to sort by that field.
