  You can enable cookies in Options-> privacy, by selecting "Use custom for the historical parameters" and then checking the box next to "accept cookies from sites". More information in this article .

  If after this, the problem is still there, could you please try to Restart Firefox in safe mode? If it works, try to disable your add-ons one at a time to find the one who is the cause of the problem (you say that started with your last update of Skype, so I would first check Skype click-to-call).
