In response to the way I had Windows 7 works on Qosmio G30

The thread is locked and I couldn't add this

After the installation of Windows Vista, I went into C drive and deleted the file old windows which has Windows Xp

Don't know if it's problems to get Windows 7 to work but that's what I did

You mean that this thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//message.jspa?MessageID=179723

The removal of the old Windows folder should not affect the installed Windows operating system. This file appears if the second operating system was installed on the same partition without formatting the HARD drive.
Anyway. Thanks for the additional info!

    Hello giant,

It is not possible to use 16-bit on a 64-bit computer applications/games.

However, you can download and install Wondows XP Mode for windows 7. Later, you can install your 16-bit application in XP mode.

You can download the application from the link given:

After back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

  • Install Windows 7 on a Qosmio G30

When you perform an advanced installation of Windows 7 on a Qosmio G30, hard drives are not detected.
I mean, on the screen where I'm supposed to select the disc to install Windows, nothing on the screen.
What I detected hard drives drivers? If so, I wasn't able to find them on the Toshiba web site.
If there is another problem, please explain.

    KRGDS

    dco31

If you go into the BIOS at startup you see the discs? If not, then you have no (?) drive hard or you have a problem with the system. When you take the Advanced installation option, you see the physical drives (Disk0, Disk1, etc.) and the logical drives (C, D, etc.) that they are distributed in (and no disk space). If you see a Disk 0 and nothing else then take disk advanced link on this screen option to partition disks.

  • Can not find the drivers for Windows XP on a Qosmio G30-155

    Hi all

I have Windows Vista Ultimate installed (by default) in my laptop. As you know, Vista comes with a lot of errors and a huge amount of compatibility issues. But I am not able to find any BIOS drivers and devices on the laptop, so I can't install XP in another partition (my drivers are supplied with a "restore CD" which installs Windows Vista as well).

No idea where to find these drivers?

    Thank you

Qosmio G30-155 belongs to the series of PQG32E, all the XP drivers are already on the European driver Toshiba page.

The path to the driver page is:

http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-> support download &-> download drivers

I really wonder why this page... don't know yoy?  :|

  • Error code: 80072EFD, impossible to find the solution to make windows update work

OK, so I just recently returned from the school where Windows Update worked perfectly.  When I got home he stopped work at all, give me the error code: 80072EFD. (I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 bit)  I tried everything on the support page and nothing works.  It might be my router somehow or something else?

    WestCoastGirl,
I suggest that you go get the Norton removal tool and run do so that there is no trace of it remaining.  It seems that you might have an infection already.  Take a look at this thread because it has some great info on virus\malware: get rid of malware

  • 1297cb HP P7: lack of response from the hard drive or windows 7 to my monitor help

Greetings.  I have a HP P7 1297cb, all original material except the memory and hard drive.

Original OS at home, is now Pro.
I thought that my hard drive has expired and bought a new WD 2 TB black.
And I don't have the other HDD cause I already threw out.

So, here I am.   I installed the WD Black again and nothing.  Monitor powers and that's it.
I get a hard drive light to everything first, about 5 to 10 seconds and off.  Touch HD and feels light low race.
All fans and fees lights.  Power light on.

No NumLock or number lock lights.  Œuvres and key/monitor / mouse, as I am with them now.

Shot four sticks of 2 GB memory and get the beep.  One at a time plugged in no beeps and back in.
You use a Windows 7 Pro disk rebuild for installation.  When the computer starts, I tried F10, F12 and nothing.
I even pulled the mobo battery for a few seconds.
I disconnected the power supply cord (pc) and held in the power button for about 30 seconds.
I even turned on with the installation disc in and waited (until at least 20 minutes) to see if the screen would change nothing.
I am willing to check the cpu, which remains the only thing to check, I'm guessing that about it.
I get no beep or beeps when the pc starts.

So, I guess also, that my problem was not the hard drive in the first place. ???
Thanks in advance for any help.

    gwolfman

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I don't know what a "Windows 7 Pro Rebuild disk'- so I don't know if it's any bootable media.

Unless you changed the default device sequence in the start section of the configuration of the BIOS, it will look at the HDD FIRST and since it is empty, the PC will simply sit there - nothing to do.

So, you must get to a boot device selection screen to boot from the DVD of Win7.

The typical ways of doing are to press F9 or F12 - one of them will be implemented a unique boot device selection menu.  Then, you select the DVD drive and the PC should then restart.

It can display a line of text at the top of the screen, something like «press any key to boot from...» "If Yes, press the space bar.

If the DVD is good, the PC will then start on the initial screen for the installation of Windows.

    Good luck

  • How Microsoft software to work the way we want it to work

Did a search in Google and got on a Microsoft Windows website. went and sign. Then how a know what is happening? You can go completely out and redo your search. Why this question? All my info I can sign in(name/password). After awhile I started to notice some special functions: 1. when I connect, did not find my name-has not found anything I have access to, but the point is also why I'd go to a site Web having the ability to connect but not having don't not have access to my own identity. 2. I had a work of good thought. For the longest now, have been trying to figure out how to copy or cut a file. All this time - whenever I do anything with this stuff gets copied back into the original location whence it. When all of a sudden you have nine files the same-being given that Microsoft put something in their program which is not intended to make you more productive when everything do you is try to figure out what to a a few hours later, I'm steemed! So I found the veto MB or copy buttons on my own witho8ut any help from anyone associated with Microsoft. So, good, good to go! Right? Not really. When you go to my computer - when I move any thing-am, still getting my files copied to my original location after their displacement. 3. someone wrote me to tell me I mustn't know ctrl/select and I do! so do not know what what they means, perhaps a little to the left or right and everything I chose going to copy my files. Am really trying to figure this out - what other functions use control and select? The point is really, what would be the purpose to make this software act like this. Someone gives a dog away and this is the reason why Microsoft software is not so good any more. Am I to get a decoder ring some part-ahhh-those who tried to get their hands on an emblem that burned his hand-does Microsoft image have the Lost Ark or something? I will be the sum is the square with a question, Microsoft is going to ever make the high quality software that works, or we will continue to see peddle them * masquerading as quality software?

What is this error, why this is and how can I solve this problem

Whenever I use the webcam on my computer, he brings a message as follows:

WINDOWS HOST PROCESS (RUNDLL32) HAS STOPPED WORKING

I can still use webcam with no problems, but I have to cancel and close this message

What is this error, why this is and how can I solve this problem

I read this from an old thread in this forum.
    Here is the suggested solution...
    Disable the webcam.
Start button > Control Panel > Classic view > Folder Options > view > first entry, check "always show icons never thumbnails" > OK.

Open your Webcam again. The message is passed now?
If so, turn off the webcam.
Back to Folder Options > uncheck the first entry "always show icons never thumbnails".

Open the webcam again. The message comes back?
    If not, problem solved.

  • The way a var as argument works do not (business rule)

I tried to create a business rule that is able to say the amount of weeks between two dates, the post Re: behavior of days between two dates here has been very useful, but not everything works as expected.

In the functions @JgetStringFromDouble (d2,@_false,@_false), if I write @JgetStringFromDouble (22,@_false,@_false)and use the static numbers for all the arguments, the business rule works without any problem. But if I try to run it with a var it validates correctly, but when the business rule execution it displays an error "error detected while trying to perform the work: DateDifference.

In environmental assessments in the application log, I get the following messages:

Failed to provision form/Conversion of date with the Code [37]

Formula runtime error for [* BLOCK MEMBER of the post *]: status code in function [@TODATAEEX] [1200664]

    Transaction [0 x 130009 (0x5450fcfe.0x30958)] abandoned due to the State [1200664].

Is there a workaround, or is there something I'm not? The only thing that prevents the code Re: behavior of days between two dates here to work, is that it won't work with a variable. Is there another way to pass the value of the variable to the function?

Someone at - it an idea?

    Thank you!

If you the GestionnaireCalc patch for more late then you will get 20 date functions and one is @CalcMgrWeeksBetween

As of today, that the button "answer" in the comments on any youtube video has stopped working, generally, it evokes an input field when you click it, but now I have nothing except a blue glow around the button (cropped photo of what I see)

So far, I tried the following without success

    • restart firefox
    • restart the computer
    • Reinstall the latest version of flash

The button doesn't work if I go to a video page via internet explorer, but I despise this browser.

  • What is the "correct" way to uninstall Windows 7?

Good evening community... what Microsoft (or anyone out there) consider means of correcting/official to uninstall Windows 7 from my desktop PC?

In the past, go all the way back to Windows 3.1 - Windows 98 - Windows ME - Windows XP - Windows Vista - and leading up to Windows 7, which is considered the 'official' Windows 7 Uninstall method (in my case Windows 7 Home Premium Retail Full Version)... I uninstalled Windows 7 by a variety of different methods, including 1) formatting the hard drive 2) a simple wiping of hard disk by using one of the many available software disks 3) or format the hard drive using the Windows disk.

There are probably other ways to uninstall Windows 7 that I mention mostly because I've never used but the 3 methods I mentioned in the previous paragraph.

    Thank you!!!

    Jimmy

There is no uninstall procedure itself, someone at - it 3 procedures you have listed will do. Personally I use the number of option 3.

    To format drive:

    1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7
    2. restart your computer
    3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
    4. Select your language, click Next.
    5. click on "repair your computer".
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair.

    7. click on the command line

    8. at the command prompt, type: FORMAT C: /.

    Press enter on your keyboard

    Type y for Yes

    Press enter

Please wait while the drive is formatted.

Type exit to close the command prompt, and then click farm to shut down the computer.

  • Lost the original system of Windows 7 on my Satellite L650

    Hi all
I lost my original Windows 7 system after I installed Scientific Linux 6.

I created the space for SL6 by reducing my C drive (which, in itself, creates no problems,
I went with Windows a few weeks after the shrink works normally) and
Finally, I tried to install SL6.

SL6 installation realized I had Windows 7 and installed the bootloader "grub".
with 2 options start. But the option of W7 does not work! He said "bootmgr not found."
And Toshiba (F8 at startup) recovery option does nothing.

I think that what lay SL6 average, is the hidden Toshiba recovery partition, I am confident
that the Windows partition has not (yet!) was affected. Is there a way to recovery ONLY the
initial boot sector and hidden partition?

I bought the Toshiba recovery disks, hoping to find in them a tool to do it all.
But no, I can't make a completely new installation, which will erase all my stuff.

Does anyone know a way to do this? Thank you!

Recovery image installation does not work on the way you think it should work. You cannot use disk image installation HARD recovery (F8) more now after changing the HARD drive partitions.
One way to put your laptop to factory settings is the use of the recovery disc.
You are right. This disc using everything will be removed and laptop will be set to the original state as for the first day after the purchase.
    > Is there a way to recovery ONLY the original boot sector and the hidden partition?
N ° something like this is not possible.
