  I just got access to a mac here at work and tried this and it worked fine.

  just save the file "col.jsx" on the desktop.

  open new doc in illustrator. standard print doc should have 64 default shades.

  GoTo file-> Scripts-> other Script...

  Go to the desktop and run col.jsx

  Folder dialog should apear, select desktop, then press OK.

  now, there should be an alert saying full export.

  and there should be a untitled.csv on the desktop.

  I am very interested in getting accurate replicas of the image on the screen (in ProPhoto) and the image (using a suitable printer profile). However when I choose test colors on the display menu, changes in appearance, but the colors RGBV or laboratory remain the same. It is against intuitive and goes against the well known for color recommendation to correct using numbers instead of your eyes.

  What is going on? Is there a way to accomplish what I want?

• Change the color of the font or the background of a table if checkbox is enabled

  I have trouble changing the color of the font for the rows of a table that a checkbox is enabled.  I use formcalc and found the 'fontColor' property but can't make it work.  I'll use an if statement and that any writing I just need to know if I can use the fontColor property or what I need to do reference to change the color of the font and the values refer to what colors (I know they are numeric values) or how do I know what value would apply to the color I want.

  I tried to use one click on the button to edit a text field to the value of the color of the font on the button, if I can change the font of the button in the color I want and then click on it to get the value of the color but I get only 0,0,0 so I have to do something wrong.

  Regarding the color values, LC Designer uses RGB (red green blue) colourspace. Each is 0 to 255. Thus, for example:

  • 0,0,0 is black
  • 255,255,255 is white
  • 255,0,0 is red, etc.

• All the world has noticed that the color sampler tool is inaccurate?

  I have some colors of the company I can't vary.  I'm a solid with the appropriate hex values, and if I try to enjoy this solid later... it does not pick up the exact color.  I have to type the color values in the new solid.  I checked the color on the strong original values and they were right.  Someone knows what the deal is here?  It has been bothering me for far too long.  Thank you!

  When you say you "as solid sample", what exactly are you clicking on in After Effects? Are you clicking on the solid in the Composition Panel? Or are you clicking on the color chart for this layer in the timeline panel or project panels?

  There is a known bug that the color swatch in the Assembly or project panels may not return the value of the appropriate color to the color swatch tool. When you click on a pixel that is not in a pane of the Viewer (Composition, layer, film), After Effects application the pixel color display driver is. The problem here is the color management: even if you have not enabled the management of colors (via a workspace Project) in the project settings, After Effects within the parameters of color management for your monitor, as shown in the operating system (defined in system preferences in Mac OS X, the control panel under Windows). However, this applies only to the viewer panels. The nuances in the editing and project panels are not color managed in this way, so the color values, indicated by the display driver may be different from the color used by the associated layer. The only way to work around this bug would be to set the color profile of your monitor to a standard RGB profile; I wouldn't recommend actually do.

• The CMYK values for the PMS colors in file are spread in final PDF.

  Customer provides us with a photoshop PDF, in which CMYK for a PMS color values are spread (in the case of PMS 633). Client creates files in indesign, save to PDF and then open the PDF Id file in photoshop and re - save as a photoshop PDF.

  Somehow, the color values are getting biased; 96 6/10/29/77.64/27.3/17.41/0, obviously enough to change the appearance of the color and the client refuses the job.

  Any suggestions?

  Values of PMS in InDesign are not actually stored as LAB, CMYK values. If the creation of PDF from InDesign and forcing in the process and all tasks the process CMYK, then you get the CMYK values depend on the color space designated for PDF output. Then you have a similar question rasterize PDF file in Photoshop. The CMYK values may change depending on the involved color spaces.

  In both cases, as described in Bob, this is a strongly discouraged workflow. Frankly, you perform additional measures that I guaranteed to degrade the quality and are a source of multiple, probably unexpected CMYK color conversions => C am 'Y' K'.   Ugghh!

  And Yes, we highly recommend the PDF/X-4 without any conversion of color directly exported from InDesign.

  And finally, to use spot colors for print streams where it didn't intend to use additional pigments is just looking for trouble. You can use the definitions of Pantone colors, but at least use the Pantone Process definitions, not spot colors in color!

  You might look in a technique called frequency of separation. This would be separate your texture and color in two layers, so you can change the color without the texture. Here is an example:

  Hi all

  My goal is to load two images and compare its color pixel-by-pixel information. For this I used "flash.display.Loader' class to load the images, and once the load finished I catalogued the content loaded bitmap object (loaderObj.content as Bitmap). Finally, I'll get the bitmapdata of the bitmap of the two images and compare the pixels.

  Now the problem is the color of the original image information and the loaded bitmap is slightly different. For example, the color value of the pixels of the image attached image1.jpg is 0xDDDDDD for full 1366 x 768. And for the image even when it is loaded as bitmap color value of pixels are different from the original value (for a few pixels only, not all pixels are different).

  I gave you the source code and sample images.

  Please can someone help me how to solve this problem?

  I run a recreational League of golf and have been recording the scores of the players (50 + players in total) with the intention of maintaining a form of disability from the League.

  So far, I did most of the calculations manually in number. Recently, I have experimented using the Lookup function but have encountered a problem with the time where the player does not play this week.

  In table 1, where I do all scores record cel when they do not play is left blank. However, in table 2 than corresponding cel returns a 0... strikes completely out of whack handicaps.

  Here is what I used in table 2 for the information of table 1...  SEARCH (name, 2016 Stats::Table 1 $Last: $ name, 2016 Stats::Table 1::G44)

  I also tried to add an IF statement, but I have obviously not understood correctly as he said I tried to refer to a cel in the statement itself.

  IF compared the results of the first SEARCH and if it is zero, returns an empty string. If the comparison returns FALSE, the second SEARCH is called, find and returns the result of zero. AVERAGE does not take into account all results of text, including the string NULL, a zero-length text value.

  COUNT (used in the column count the number of turns) also ignores the text values.

  4th place of disability shows one of the reasons for not using LOOKUP.

  SEARCH alwas accepts a "close fit" with the search value. 'near match' for RESEARCH is defined as 'the largest value equal or less than the value of the research', and for the values text, "less than or equal" can be described as "identical or come forward in a list of items of text in alphabetical order.»

  For us, the other two values in the name list are 'less' us and the most important is 'Them', the values for 'Them' are returned.

  For this reason, I tend to use VLOOKUP instead of RESEARCH in many cases.

Arrays are originally a Word document and the table cells are colored according to their content: a value of 20% on the cell a 20% tint. This is done automatically on the Word document via a conditional formatting option that applies to a graduated color scale. Is it possible to do this in InDesign? I tried to place the tables and tried all the options, but the color is not imported. Maybe a script or a style GREP?

• Change all the cells in all Tables

  This is my first post, but I have worked with InDesign scripting for a while and I'm pretty fluent in Javascript.

  My scenario is, I have a document with about 1,000 pages. On each page is a table with about 100 cells, 10 rows and 10 columns with a description to the 0-space of each, followed by a floating point number (in the form of a percentage) in all the other cells. What I need to do, is to put the color of the text of each percentage in each line according to its value. For example, in the first row, each percentage less than 80.00% is red, while everything should be green. All I have to do is color based on their value. However, this value changes throughout the 10 different lines.

  I could make a script that would allow me to go over each cell in the row 1 of each table on one page, then iterate over all the other pages in the same way before continuning on line 2. It is a long process, typically leading to a crash in any document more than ~ 30 pages long. Since I want to run it on a document of more than 1000 pages gigantic (granted there are only 1 table per page), it becomes a bit unrealistic...

  I am just curious to know if there is a way to run it in a more realistic way. There must be a quick way to iterate over each line, simply check the values, green or red brand and do with it. My idea was to, perhaps, make each row of the table on one page and then go on the next page, as opposed to the 1st row on the entire document, followed in line 2 and so on and so forth? Maybe this would help?

  The code is FARRR too long to post here, but the rough process I have at the moment is the following:

  1.) configuration variables to define the cells of each row:
