In the release of FF4: whence the menu "bookmark all tabs" point go?

How to add all open tabs?
Under the menu item it used to be a "bookmark all tabs ' 'bookmarks', and a 'organize bookmarks '. They're gone.
I use FF 4.0

In Firefox 4, organize bookmarks has been renamed to display all bookmarks.

In order to bookmark all tabs open, right-click on a tab and select bookmark all tabs.

  • I use the excellent Firefox 5.o. What happened to the feature "bookmark all tabs" which is located under the bookmarks? I love Mozilla Firefox! :-)

I looked under bookmarks position as well as history. What happened to the "bookmark all tabs" extremely useful. Loved this feature of Firefox. Thank you!!!

Click right on a tab to see this menu item or use {Ctrl + Shift + D}.

In collaboration with the new button of Firefox in Firefox 4.0 and with the addition of some new features that adds a number of new items to the menu, many of the menu items older have been moved or appear only in certain conditions. It can be a bit confusing until you get used to the changes, but beyond the addition of new menu items for the new features in the future, I don't think that there will be major changes like this for awhile.

  • What happened to the function "bookmark all tabs" in Firefox 4.0.1?

I found the function "To bookmark all tabs" very useful when I went to close Firefox (for recovering the memory), but wanted to be able to remember the bookmarks. In the 4.0.1 Version that seems to have been supplanted by groups of tabs in Panorama, but this isn't the same thing. I want just a simple way to bookmark, or make a group of tabs of ALL open tabs.

{Ctrl + Shift + D} to trigger bookmark all tabs or use the menu option bookmark all tabs... in the context menu for each tab.

  • Where the option "bookmark all tabs open" disappear too?

I use Firefox for years and liked the feature that you allowed to bookmark all tabs open in a Firefox window as a bookmarks folder name. This was supported up to the latest version 3.0.16

But I've recently updated to version 4 and I cann't find the option in the drop down bookmarks more. Can you please advise me where his party too or what I have to put in work and where to get them.

    Thank you

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.
"To bookmark all tabs" in the Bookmarks menu is one of them.

You can see the difference if you use Alt + B or Alt + F to open some menus.

    • "To bookmark all tabs" is no longer present in the bookmarks menu unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
    • "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

Any way to get "To bookmark all tabs" back to my bookmarks menu? I'm not in the topic: config and I don't like the keyboard Alt option or the other. It worked so well and easy before... takes longer now.

I have this second also in the order of the menu open and I'd love to have opened again as a second tab in FF before 4.0... possible either... ?

PS - installation of Add-ons not an option for me. I have need of this return of just regular way to FF base.

Add code to userChrome.css below @namespace.

The first code makes only the entry "bookmark all tabs" visible.

The second code makes all the hidden menu entries visible.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */
/* Always show "Bookmark All Tabs" in Bookmarks menu */
    #menu_bookmarkAllTabs {display:-moz-box!important}

/* show all hidden menu entries */
    #navigator-toolbox menuitem[class="show-only-for-keyboard"]{display:-moz-box!important}

  • In FF4, what happened to the button 'to bookmark all tabs "? Miss me it! Or is it still there?

Once upgraded to FF4 a few weeks ago I was surprised to find that, under the "bookmarks" tab in the toolbar option 'to bookmark all tabs"is gone with this new version. I'm a big user of this feature and Miss because I'm used to labels and many windows open. For normal stopping and restarting is not a problem. But if I intend to run (some) public services add each of the open windows to prevent them from be removed by the utility.

    Thank you

  • Where is the Menu bookmarks?

In Safari 10 I can only add bookmarks to the 'Favourites' section or to bookmark files, I created myself. I can't add to the bookmarks Menu more because apparently disappeared? Is this a bug? Now I can not add my favorites for the 'root' of the bookmark list more. My bookmarks section contains a list of folders of bookmarks and a few bookmarks in the upper slot that I did not put in such a folder. I used to select the Menu bookmark to add those and decided later if I want to move to a folder of bookmarks. But this Menu bookmarks option has now disappeared. It is not anywhere between my either custom files. So where is he past?

Open the Bookmarks Sidebar, then click on the URL, and then drag it to the bookmarks.

  • How to show the menu bookmark black in FF 29.1 o/s Windows 7?

I have fixed all my problems with new FF 29.1, except one, I usually use 4 Noia, but it is no longer available in FF 29.1. When you use Noia 4, I was able to have a black background with white writing in my bookmark menu. I am now using the solid black by MaDonna, but it don't exchange not the color of the menu bookmark is there a way to get around this, because it was much easier for me to read with my bad eyesight. Any help would be appreciated gratefully through my eyes and me. Cheers and thanks a lot to anyone who takes the time to read this and may help with the problem.

As I said in your other thread, (AKA light themes, personas) themes change only the bottom of the toolbars. You need a complete theme if you want to change the background of the menus, or the appearance of the buttons.

Regarding the alternatives of Noia 4, Noia Fox and Nuvola FF are available, but is not a dark theme.

    Original answer:

  • Why don't make a click right in the menu bookmark work more? Why should I open a bookmark to change/remove favorite Manager?

Before this update 29, I could simply right-click in the bookmarks menu on any bookmark and make everything I wanted as open its properties to change or simply delete directly from this menu. Now, all of a sudden, this context menu is all obscured. It is usable only when you go to the bookmark manager. Why was it necessary to ban people of deletion and modification of bookmarks in the menu bookmark? Why I now have to go through a few extra steps to open the Bookmarks Manager, then find the bookmark to edit or delete when I could do all this directly from the menu?

Hello, you can try to reproduce this behavior when you start firefox in safe mode, once?

Troubleshoot extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common problems of Firefox

  • When I try to add a bookmark, the menu "bookmark"page to rename it comes, it comes automatically adds, also when I installed the menu not appear Adblock it was installed, even if it was, etc...

The menu "bookmark"page sometimes appears for a split second and disappears. The bookmark is added, but I'm not able to change the name of the file without manually all bookmarks.

Also, when I installed adblock plus menu, saying that it has been installed successfully done the same thing.

I tried to disable all extensions and plugins, it did not help.

Also tried to completely uninstall firefox

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  • Why 'Bookmaks' menu choice "to bookmark all tabs", removed the 5.o version, I have loved and used this valuable feature almost every day!

This feature was version 3.6.18, why you would remove version 5.0! It allowed users to mark all the tabs open on the current window and give it a name. This impressive
feature allowed the user to save all open tabs in the event of a failure of the system or power failure, or other.

Bookmark all tabs is always available:

    • Right-click on a tab and choose "bookmark all tabs".
    • CTRL + SHIFT + D
    • Using the menu bar
      • Press the ALT or F10 key to temporarily show the menu bar
      • While the menu bar is displayed, click bookmarks > bookmark all tabs

Information included in your message shows that you use Firefox 3.0.19 to ask your question. This version of Firefox is old, is no longer supported and probably has security problems. You should switch to Firefox 3.6.18 or Firefox 5, the only versions currently supported.

  • Firefox 3.6 has been a "bookmark all tabs" in the Favorites drop-down menu. How can I "bookmark all tabs", using Firefox 4.0.1

I've recently updated to Firefox 4.0.1 of Firefox 3.6. Firefox 3.6 had a "bookmark all tabs" in the menu bookmark in the menu dropdown. It is not a "bookmark all tabs" in the bookmarks menu of Firefox 4.0.1 on the menu drop down. This feature has been removed since Firefox 4.0.1? If I want to save 24 tabs in a window of Firefox and 14 tablets in another window of Firefox, should I save all tabs individually? How can I set options, preferences, etc. so that I can "bookmark all tabs" at the same time in a window of Firefox 4.0.1. I use Firefox 4.0.1 on a desktop computer with Windows7 professional OS with Firefox as my default browser.

Right-click on a tab and you will be able to bookmark all tabs. Or use the Alt + B keyboard that opens old style menu. You can make changes to Firefox, as explained in this post: /questions/799856 #answer - 155765

  • Why bookmark drop down panel change has > Z-order when modified in the menu bookmark?

When I try to set the order of bookmarks in bookmarks organize the library page opens, I select Menu bookmarks, select a bookmark and click on organize, select all and all are highlighted, then go to view, sort, sort by name of the sort order, has > Z. I then close the window "library". When I go back to the drop-down list bookmarks on panel without order has changed. Even if I restart Firefox after these actions, it is always the same.

Change the sort order in the library does not change the sort order of the bookmarks menu. If you want to change the sort order in the menu bookmarks, see sorting and the reorganization of bookmarks - Firefox - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

  • Where is the bookmark all tabs function?

I recently updated from a very early version of the FF to 13.0.1 and bookmark all tabs from the bookmarks menu has disappeared. I always use this feature, so I desperately need.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you are using the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).

You can see the difference if you use Alt + F to open the file menu and other menus such as the Edit (Alt + E) menu and the menu bookmark (Alt + B) and compare that to what you see, if you use the mouse to open the menu after the bar of menus visible by typing Alt or by pressing F10.

    • "To bookmark all tabs" (Shift + Ctrl + D) is no longer present in the menu bookmarks unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
    • "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.
    • 'Bookmark this Page' is accessible through the context menu of the browser page.
