  I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Windows Vista Enterprise. I read on the ability to upgrade to Windows 7 at low administrative cost by HP upgrade program. However, the site mentions that I can only upgrade from Vista Home Premium, business or ultimate edition. My laptop HP (the EliteBook 8530w) had Windows Vista Enterprise is installed. So I want to know if it is possible for me to upgrade to Windows 7 using the upgrade HP program.

  I bought this laptop from my University. They had a program, so we could buy our laptop with many applications that we need for our study pre-installed. It could be that they have replaced the Vista HP installed with Windows Vista Business version. If this is the case, is it possible for me to somehow re - install the previous version of Vista, so I can still take part in the upgrade program?

  UPDATE: I contacted just HP support by phone. The Elitebook 8530w comes with Vista Bussiness installed and they send me an installation disc within 14 days. They have also described here it might be possible to do a clean install with upgrade cd, although they did not know for some. I think I'll try the clean install first, and if that doesn't work, I'll install Windows Vista Bussiness and then perform the upgrade.

  How are you trying to remove: from Windows Explorer?  Have you seen active thumbnail?  Can remove you them if you switch the view from Windows Explorer to the details?

  How it works is usually the application (explorer.exe is an application) in question is open about everything that monitor his last (final) session was closed the.  Not all applications have this built-in memory, but most do.

  I don't think that even something TO manage multiple monitors (this is what it was built for) will do what you are wanting.  ;-)  I see no way of programming of this type of automation.  ;-)

• Cannot open an attachment pdf from windows live mail, they are opened in word

  Until last week, I don't have any problems at the opening of pdf files for attachments in my email, now, they are open automatically in word, which does not work.   Yes I have the adobe reader software, and yes I have fixed and repaired the adobe reader software.  I tried to find where in the settings are the default settings for e-mail, but unfortunately could not find mail.  I saw in the previous forums it seems to be a current problem.  I don't want to save each attachment to the office where I can open it with adobe, nor do I want to change to Foxit reader as I have no problems so far.  I think there may have been a problem with updates.  There, can someone help me.

  Create a file association.
   
  
  1. download and save the attachment to the office.
  2. right click on the saved file.
  3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
  4. click on: choose [default] program.
  5. Select: Adobe Reader.
  6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
  7. click on OK.
   
  
  This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

  When you perform a factory restore then all passwords are cleared and you are prompted for an account name (that you choose) and his password.

  If you are prompted for a password to an existing account, then you don't have a factory restore. Maybe you did a Windows restore to a Restore Point, in which case the password is the one that was current when the Restore Point was created.

  If you can get in Mode safe under an admin account you can reset any desired password.

  I can honestly say I have not heard this before going on as a result of any upgrade, but that being said, I've heard of the error, "this function has been locked by your system administrator or the person setting up the printer" and I am confident, I can help you.

  I like it for home use / laptops to the work - but why would I want to use in this particular environment of the VDI?  I think VMware recommends 2 vCPUs, it seems more bloated, resource hungry.

  Certainly windows XP, space for CPU/memory/disk would allow you to have more windows xp to windows 7 on the same hosts. For example... Windows XP can be as little as 512 MB of RAM I recommend 1 GB minimum to be usable as for windows 7...

• How can I get pictures of LR windows file when it is said that they are offline or missing?

  I loaded photos to LR, where I made a few changes. They were JPEGs. I deleted some in LR who went to the trash. Originals were in a file windows 2009-11-08. As I saw no changes in the images of windows, I decided to transfer LR images to the original file and opted to replace the originals, could be a fatal error, it turns out that LR, I am new on this. So now the originals are missing in the windows file but the images are always in lightroom, but can't do something with them that show them in the library or the slide show. I want to put back them in the windows file to download on my blog and I really hope that they do not miss by telling me in lightroom. Don't see why they are missing, if I am viewing them. Try the suggestion of adding file support parent, then right click and locate don't remember exactly the procedure but I couldn't make it work. I need help? Thank you.

  By right (or click cttr) click on the folder. You will have a set of options, including synchronize them the folder. Unless you have actually moved the folder itself another somwhere. In which case you need to re locate everything first. (Update folder location). If you remove the actual file, re locate your back upwards (you don't have saved files when importing?)

  If you actually have two more wrote the original files, deleted the folder and could not create a backup, you're really in trouble (and managed to beat all the various guarantees embedded in LR... look through the video tutorials on the help site might be an idea!)
