  Check the dates and hours for these emails - they can be removed reappear, but the same message over and over again by the ISP server (which does not delete the messages himself and continues to send the same ones for you again and again).  You could also be attacked by a pirate who has your email address and attempting to overwhelm you messages (in this case, the only thing I know to do is to contact the provider of aid to try to stop the culprit).  Are the messages you receive legitimate messages from people you know or just advertising messages or SpAM?  If the message times are different (and even if they are not different) I suggest that you contact your ISP or email and explain the problem.  They may be able to solve the problem on their end.

  In the meantime, try to connect to your online email account provided by the operator (no one ever uses it but it's there) and see if the messages you received are also in this Inbox.  Try to remove them from the Inbox and see if that solves the problem.  If so, then for some reason any your email account is not delete messages once they are sent and therefore re - send whenever you click to receive mail or your autoreceive active.  It's a problem on their side (but could also be with your online messaging settings, but they can help you fix to prevent this).

  If it is really deleted emails reappear in your Inbox (and I don't know how that could be the happeining) it will try another solution to the problem - even if at the moment I'm not sure exactly what to try, because I do not yet know the cause (or how it is join the deleted emails).  Try to empty the deleted items folder to further remove the system and see if that helps.

  I don't think that you can move the toolbar above the Menu bar. Or is the toolbar missing? If it is not present, right-click on an empty spot on the menu bar and check the toolbar.

  I had to remove the regedit.  for some reason the mail windows refuses to unassociate so go to regedit, I don't like playing with regedit, but it worked, I deleted and then again, all ok now.

  I have the same problem: my 'deleted items' folder will be empty. I tried the proposed repair and that did not work.

  My version of WLM is 12.

  I also had this problem.  Nothing would delete from a year and half ago.  Once I read THIS reply from Firedog, I started looking for where the destruction of my devices have been mapped to.  Between my phone, my office and my Kindle, (date of the problem started when I bought my new phone) and delete them all three parameters have been mapped in three different places.  Once I changed that and they were all mapped to the same place, the problem has been SOLVED!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  Maybe could turn the setting and then turn again. Sometimes it works, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did not help, or if you have already tried.

  Take note of the following:

  1. I've never used only 8 years old, Windows Mail
  2. Windows Mail is not supported.

  The deleted items folder has a clean button on it? This can empty it completely. Another thing to consider is that your e-mail service can remove items deleted periodically. However, as you say, it takes place, so you can delete them manually.

  Alternatively, you can consider changing the e-mail programs. You said that Windows Live Mail did not work. You can try an older version, because I don't think not 2012 works on Vista (based on absolutely no evidence, by the way) another option to consider is Mozilla Thunderbird. If you have Microsoft Office and it includes Outlook, certainly use it.

  That's the only advice I have. If this does not help, I don't have anything else for you.
