Inability to move the taskbar on the right side down.

While only on-line, the taskbar moved suddenly from the bottom to the right.  I have a click right and verified that the task of locking bar selection was not checked.  I have a touchpad on my laptop.  I left clicked on an empty space on the taskbar and created an arrow up and down.  I held the left click and tried to move the taskbar to the bottom with the touchpad, but it should not move.  I stopped and restarted but the taskbar are always on the right side.

> created an arrow up and down

No you don't. It is only to "expand" the width of the taskbar.
You left click inside of the taskbar and HOLD > drag the slider down, down > drop prey when done > lock the taskbar.

If the above still does not help, do a system restore. Choice of the date when your taskbar down as your restore point.

Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

I lost most of my icons on the right side of the taskbar. All I have left are icons of Norton and the HP Imaging.

Lost are the volume icon, the icon of the sound card, remove it in safe USB icon, the icon of the printer, & a couple more.

What is even more frustrating, is that if I go to system restore and restore the old system, it wont let me restore it, but when I hit the OK, I get my icons until the next reboot, when I lost them again...

How do you reposisition the toolbar background down

My tool bar downstairs was on the right side of the screen when I turned on the PC this morning. How do come back on the bottom?

You say "toolbar." Do you mean the taskbar?

Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.

If it does not move, it can be locked. In this case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar", then try again.

Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

  • Scaling a rectagle only on the right side

I would like a rectangle scale gradually only to the right by using keyframes. Meaning that it should look like the rectangle runs from left to right.

This rectangle that I use in a title.  Once the title appears in the FCPX, the rectangle should appear as if it is across from left to right.

I tried this effect using tool to expand/collapse, but the rectangle is more and more to the left and right side.  I want only on the right side.

    Any help is appreciated.

You can use the properties > four corners and animate the parameters of the lower right/up right there:

This is exactly the same as the use of the distortion in the canvas tool.

You can also animate the points of the Rectangle:

Select the form and go into the form > geometry inspector.

Click on convert it into Points.

Move the playback cursor where you what the animation begins and in the 'title bar ' of Control Points on the right side, click the triangle in the context menu and select the keyframes > Add.

Move the playback cursor where you want the animation to end and set Point 2 > Y (top-right) and Point 3 > values Y (lower-right) to values you want.

Sorry, it's a question of support of Windows, the Windows taskbar does not part of Firefox. I do not use Windows 8.1 myself, and I don't know if the process is the same as on my Windows XP - but maybe click and hold and drag this bar down might work like on Windows XP.

I have to be able to do this because my monitor has an error of graphics on the right side of the screen-screen covering about two inches of width of the length of the right side of my window screen image, so I do not see where to put my mouse cursor to scroll vertically. In addition, sometimes I want to remake the image of the window longer or shorter, and I can't do same. It seems that it is a matter of "settings". Just do not know how to activate it. Help, please.
