Incorrect password for computer Sony laptop XP

Yes was lettin my daughter use my old laptop sonypcg-frv37 got in a fight now I can't get the password right back to what to do?

Note: There is a hidden ' administrator' account (account name: administrator) in Windows.
The password for the hidden account is normally empty (no).

For XP Home users:
Start the computer in Mode safe
This by pressing the F8 key (several times) after that the Power On Self Test is finished, until it appears in the start menu.
This will get you to the correct menu window.
Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account and any other accounts.
(Note: accounts are displayed in alphabetical order).
Use the up/down arrow keys to select the "Administrator" account
Don't forget not as stated above: the default password is a white (no password required).

For XP Pro users:
You don't need to go to Safe Mode.
At the Welcome screen, / press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to display the Windows login box.
Type "Administrator" (without the quotes) and "If" you have assigned a password when you set up Windows, then enter. (Note: by default the password is empty, no password must be entered)

Once your in, then:
Click Start/run/and type: Control Userpasswords2 and then press OK
Then click on the "Users" tab (if it is not already selected).
Now, click on name.that the user account you want to change/reset the password, and
Click on the button 'Reset password' located at the bottom right.
Enter the new password in the "new password" box.
Enter the same password again in the box 'Confirm new password'.
Then click on the OK"" button.
Finally restart your PC and log in using the account name and password specified.
