  You can go to Site > Manage Sites > export to create files .ste with your settings to be imported into the new version of the site. This way your info ftp and other site specific parameters will meet instantly, rather than having to create new definitions of site by hand.

  Other that that, there really nothing that needs to be done for CC to understand your old files.

  When installing CC, make sure you click on the advanced settings in the Installer link and disable "Remove older Versions". You can easily have CS5 and installed CC at the same time to make the transition less sharp. There are some pretty big changes between CS5 and CC can take you awhile to get under your belt. Have the old version will allow you to continue to work with something that you know while you do the adjustment with the new software.

  CC has more Spry example, if whatever it is done using the framework Spry will no longer offer that you dialogue windows when you want to change. You will need to either open the old program or switch to the jQuery version (if it is available in the DW interface). It won't 'break' your Spry effects, it just will not allow you to change from the windowed interface (adjustments should be coded manually or in the old software).

Also, when turn on the cam directly from the desktop icon and try to configure the space required for video captures the pc shuts off or the programwill camera become UN-responcive and jam. I tried programs assistant camera, device and windows as well as the control panel and help centers copatability, but don't know enough to mess with the configuration of services/programs/settings on the pc to fix the problem

• When I try to download Flashplayer, it won't initialize. I have tried several times to Adobe and Firefox Web site when I'm playing farmville or hidden Facebook Chronicles.

  When I downloaded Firefox this morning and tried to play games on Facebook, the page would not come to the top. He said I needed to download the latest version of Flashplayer. I tried this and it wouldn't boot. Then I checked help and it said to uninstall the version I had, I did and then reinstall it. Now, it will not be installed.   There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:

  • an ActiveX version for IE only
  • a plug-in version for most of the other browsers including Firefox
  • On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.

  You don't seem to have the Plugin for Firefox installed version. If you did, in the Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash (version)". If 'Shockwave Flash' is there and is disabled, click on the button "activate". NOTE: not to be confused with "Adobe Shockwave for Director" since this is an application separate, older, but still in use, Adobe which is still used.

  I googled and tried winwock, exe fix, but no use and not cleaned up all temporary files also no use.
  It works fine in my laptop another not in my office. It was working fine a couple of days.
  May be the software that I'm not aware of the issue is the culprit

  It's no wonder that your site does not work online.   Supported files appear to be in folders on your local computer.   But no folder does not exist on your server.

  There is a reason, you need to use DW to upload files to the server and not the uploader of GoDaddy.

  Your server hierarchy should reflect your local site folder.

  You could certainly have a desktop application open a web page in a browser, but not the reverse without the user giving permission for it. If you think to give the user the ability to use a web site without being connected to the internet, then look-up offline web sites/pages using browsers service workers.
