Increase the system video card!

Hey guys...

I have a dell laptop ((E6510))

And I have 8 GB of ram

but in my screen resolution > avancΘs > I have only 64 Mp built in video card

and 0 MP system video card...

is it possible to increase the video card? or use my Rams to increase?

There is no way to change the RAM allocation, no.  These systems come with the option of hybrid video (Intel + AMD or Intel + nVidia).  To perform this upgrade, however, the jury of the entire system must be changed, as well as the heat sink (figure $250 or more in parts + $100 in labor).

The upgrade will void your warranty, if it is a review.

This slowed the game.  I checked the video card is correct, and hardware accelerator says it's working properly.  This started after I downloaded two optional updates, one of them KB968930.  I uninstalled both of them and tried to restore the system with no result. the rest of the message is "Hardware accelerator is disabled rooms or not supported by your video make sure card driver that you install the latest video card driver and the accelerator is turned on."  I checked these things.

Thanks for the help.  I had fixed to date through the tool and the info of the performance.  Find where it says new hardware installed, click on repair, I did and it worked.  I don't know what caused the problem, but my game index had fallen to 1 and came back up to 3.3.  Thanks for the help. Download and run install Belarc Advisor and look under the device device/display of the video section. What is the video card listed as (maybe not the memory here.)

Seems that it is probably an integrated video card and probably share memory with the system - which means that is likely to be located in the BIOS. If you go into THE system BIOS (before any operating system is loaded) you may be able to see and control this part.

Just look up, the best hypothesis, you set side 32 MB (megabytes) for video memory 1024 MB (megabytes) or 1 GB (gigabyte) memory system.  Two things lead me to this...

MEM: 32 MB and the total number of 992MB RAM.  If you add 32 MB to 992 MB, you get the 1024Mo - or 1 GB or total system RAM.

In any case - this is not a game machine.

  • Pavilion P7 - 1050t: update on the Best video card

Hello, I upgraded my Pavilion P7 - 1050t a G620 processor i7 - 2600S with 8 GB of ram. Then, I want to upgrade to a dedicated video card and a new PSU. The State plug a PCIe x 16 expansion slot does not 2.0 or 3.0. I want to make sure that I get the best card I can get maximum use of. Any suggestions?

    Cgrech79, welcome to the forum.

New video cards require the UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS / Legacy.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid - October, 2012.  Your motherboard may not be upgraded in the UEFI.  The last video cards that does not need UEFI were 640 gt.  The PCI Express slot is 1.0 unless it is specified otherwise.  The version 2.0 and 3.0 are backward compatible.

I suggest that you determine the video card from the manufacturer that you want to buy and contact their Technical Support to help you choose the best card for your motherboard.

You need to upgrade the power supply (PSU), also.  The current PSU is 250W.  Most newer cards require at least 400W to work properly.  I love Corsair products.  I recommend that you buy a power supply at least 500W.

  • Pavilion Slimline s3120N will not recognize the new video card

I can't get my computer to recognize and use a new video card. I tried 3 cards (GeForce 8400GS... cards 2different and Radeon HD 4550). The computer continues using the onboard video. For each card, I did the following:

Go to configuration, advanced and changed the main graphics card 'on board' to 'PCI-E '.

Saved and let the computer start.

Stop and insert the new video card into the PCI-E slot

Start the computer and installed the latest driver

    Computer restarts

No matter what I do, it always uses the embedded video. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. How can I use the PCI-E slot/video card? Any suggestions?

I think that your problem may be the power supply unit (PSU).  The video card that you have installed require a minimum of 300W/350W.  The power supply of your computer is perhaps only 180W; 220W at the most.  You can check by opening the case and by reading the label on.  It's just too much difference for the card to function properly.

  • H8 1241: problems with the new video card on h8 1241

OK, I've seen a lot of posts on this topic, but I couldn't find anything yet. I bought this computer as a windows 7, but have just upgraded to windows 10. The stock video card HDMI port came out, so I ordered an ASUS Geforce gtx 750ti to replace.

    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B00IB9P1KG?PSC=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

When I try to boot with the new card I get the blue screen that tells me to Press esc to get into the BIOS, but it is freezing it (I am not able to get into the bios).

Currently, the only way to make changes are re - insert my old card. I can not even start without secondary card by using the on-Board (which could as a result of the changes that I made in the BIOS). Most of the solutions I've seen involved changes in version 8 of the BIOS but I can't get that. I tried to update my BIOS to the latest version for windows 7, but I don't think it worked b/c I am on windows 10 now.

    Help, please!

    Hello

The level of your PC motherboard BIOS is not compatible with the cards NVIDIA GXT 7xx series.

Contact ASUS to obtain redress. ASUS has maybe a video BIOS update or a different graphics card that will work in your PC.

A NVIDIA GTX 660 new or used may be your best bet.

Thanks for posting on the forum.

We have Windows Vista SP2. Does this mean I now have to buy a video card or y at - there a way around this without costing me more money?
    Kind regards

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: make sure the game is compatible with your computer.

Method 2: update the video card driver and check if that helps.

Update a hardware driver that is not working properly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly

If both methods fail, you will then need to get a new video card.

    I hope that helps!

What is the best video card for an hp p7 - 1137c 300 wat?

    Windows 7. 64 bit OS

A Nvidia GT430 or GT520 is better than a 300 watt power supply will manage. If you want a better graphics card than Nvidia or any Radeon HD card you willl need a more powerful power supply. The Corsair CX500 and CX600 are highly recommended and are favorite forum. For more information, read Guide of Big_Dave of a discrete video card selection .

  • What is the cheapest video card that will work in a Dell Studio XPS 8100?

Map of 5770 in my Studio XPS 8100 seems to be dying.  The screen keeps have corrupted and I can't do anything until I restart, then it happens after a few minutes.  I have a corsair cx430 power supply installed.

The only weird thing I've noticed is that when it is started in safe mode the display seems to work perfectly.

This machine is my server machine, so I only need to make a minimum of working directly on the machine.

I think I should just replace the video card.  What is the cheapest video card / lowest which will work in my 8100?

    Thank you

  • What is the best video card for a Dell Optiplex GX620.

    Hello!

I have a Dell Optiplex GX620 and after many trials with glitches in video games, I am told that I need to update my video card. What is a good which corresponds to my mini-tower and a good price?

    Thanks for your help!

    Puppetguy

You asked the best video card for the GX 620 minitower then this would be the HD 6670 or 7750 HD.   Apparently, you do not have any dedicated now video card.  If we have linked is too heavy, you will need to give us an idea what you can spend.  Your will does not get a lot for less than $50.  If all want them you want, you can get a HD 6450.  I got one on ebay for $32.

  • Tecra A8 - 103 - how to increase memory for video card?

    Hello

does anyone know how to increase the memory for the video card on my Tecra A8-103?

I've heard that I can 'take' of RAM memory and 'Add' to video memory card, but don't know how? I just live in the BIOS, but have not seen this feature?

I need, because, when I work in Visual Studio .NET and pass code for fashion design, an image disspears and I have to wait 15 to 30 seconds until :(((back what the image

Therefore, I do not think that increasing memory video card will solve this problem?

Thank you x 10 in advance

You cannot pass the VRAM chips, they are soldered to the circuit board.

On some machines, you can dynamically increase the VRAM by installing more RAM System. Enjoy reading your user manual.

  • Satellite A210-19 b and a200-204 is the expandable video card?

Hello there can someone help me I just intend to buy one of these laptop A200-204 and A210-19 b, now my question is, the video card being upgraded to example 8600gt and the processor, because in the future many games requires top video card and specifications, and when I buy do I have an option to replace the operating system to windows xp sp2 because it is better than vista.

Well, unfortunately this is not possible.

The graphics chip is soldered on the map and you will not be able to delete

I recommend you research a little in this forum for similar issues.

But you will always find the same answer; GPU upgrade is not possible.

  • Xlib & quot; sequence lost & quot; with the matrox video card

I am trying to run labivew (8.2) tools (for example, nispy) on a system running redhat Linux 4 (2.6.9 kernel) with a video card Matrox P690 installed.

Initially, I had a problem with libvlrt not being able to run because the _glapi_get_context symbol is not found. By loading a different combination of Mesa and openGL libraries I can get it to not complain about the coast, but the app crashes then go out with...

    Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0x6b) in its response of type 0 x 8!
(null) X error of requests that have failed: 0
Major opcode of requests that have failed: 0)
Serial number of requests that have failed: 0
Current serial number in output stream: 107

If I use a NVidia video card or start a VNC session, so I don't have the problem, so it seems that there is a compatibility issue with the Matrox driver. I have the latest driver from Matrox.

All the known world it or something similar and found a solution?

    Hi rpoffen,

Looks like it's a different flavor of this post on the forum. Let's get some versioning of the road information. What version of openGL and libraries Mesa, Matrox drivers do you use? I doubt that we have a video here Matrox card to try, but I'll look...
