  • With FDM/ERPi of Oracle Data Source incremental data loads

    Hello

    I use ERPi 11.1.2.1. In the workspace, it is possible to set the option of the rule of the data load to be instant, or incremental. However, I use FDM/ERPi set to load data from Oracle GL in Essbase. Is it possible for me to put in place the FDM for the data to load incremental data rules charges? Could be a parameter in the source ERPi adapter?

    Thanks for any information you could provide.

    Yes, the source ERPi adapter there is an option for "Method of Load Data" that will allow you to define how the rule of the DL is run. By default, it is "FULL REFRESH" but can be changed.

    (A) connecting to the application via the workbench and the source system adapters
    (B) make a right click on the Source ERPI adapter and choose "options".

    You will see an option to load method and it will be the full refresh value, choose the value of the option you want in the menu drop-down and save.

  • Support incremental data to Essbase

    Hello

    I am new in ODI and maybe have a noob question.
    How to set the incremental data load in Essbase IKM?
    I have for example on UO acount in Oracle
    Accout, (other columns), value
    ACC1..., 1000
    ACC1, 1200

    In Essbase I reveal like 2200 on this account. How to get there? In revenge, I don't see any option which indicates the incremental load...

    Best regards
    Alright

    Define the adpater to use a rule to load Essabse to perform the load to Essbase. Then in the data to load the settings of the State of charge, you can choose to accumulate values rather than replace them.

  • How do you get the incremented xml data a statement?

    Hello

    I am importing data using xml and incrementing data that looks like this

    peopleObject.name0

    peopleObject.phone0

    peopleObject.image0

    peopleObject.name1

    peopleObject.phone1

    peopleObject.image1

    And now I'm trying to use this information using a statement but I don't know how I can add the number that is incremented at the end I tried to add a '+ I' like this

    for (var i = 0; i < = peopleTotal; i ++) {}
    var newMC:MovieClip = placeHolder.attachMovie ("peopleMovie", "peopleMovie_" + I, i);
    newMC._x = 100;
    newMC._y = is;
    newMC.peoplename.text = peopleObject.name + i;
    trace (peopleObject.name + i + "name + I")
    newMC.peopleimg = peopleObject.image + i;
    ago += newMC._height;
    }

    So no idea how can I access the data, it's in a variable incremented in a separate for the statement? Let me know if I'm not explaining enough good.

    Thank you

    Use array notation:

    peopleObject ['name' + i] = everything which

    ["phone" + i] peopleObject = whateverelse;

    etc.

  • How can I create a chart that creates new series each year when the data are not collected on a daily basis?

    I collect numbers "occasionally" of my solar system and to create a standardized chart that shows that the generation on an annual basis, so I can compare fall in the fall of each year, etc..

    Because the information is not strictly 'daily' (just whenever I get to it), I don't know how it normalize for several years.

    For example, if I had

    Date - Kw/day

    15/01/10 - 14

    03/04/10 - 18

    18/04/10 - 17

    01/06/10 - 19

    21/09/10 - 15

    03/12/10 - 9

    07/02/11 - 13

    02/05/11 - 16

    17/08/11 - 18

    01/11/11 - 12

    02/11/11 - 12

    05/01/12 - 9

    04/06/12 - 12

    and so on.

    What I'd like to see is a line graph for each year from January to December with these datapoints on it. I have much more "incremental data" that I presented above, but it's on "random dates" during the last 8 years, and I'm just trying to see how each year compared to other years.

    To be at the front, I tried to understand how this in Excel as well, but he could not understand where the other.

    DRM for any tips/tricks/tips!

    This might work for you...

    I placed your data in a table named "Data."

    Create a second (in this example, titled 'Table 1')

    In the table 'Table 1' months are in the first column and the first row (which is a header row) contains the years - add columns to add new year:

    B2 = if (SUMIFS (data: $B, data: $A, "> =" & (B$ 1, $A2, 1), DATE data: $A, "<" & EOMONTH(A1,0) will GET (DATE B$ 1, $A2, 1, 0) "" "") > 0, SUMIFS (data: $B, given: $A, "> =" & (B$ 1, $A2, 1), DATE data: $A, "<" & EOMONTH(A1,0) will GET (DATE B$ 1, $A2, 1, 0) "" ""), "")

    It's abbreviation dethrone select cell B2 and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    = IF (SUMIFS (data: $B, data: $A, "> =" & (B$ 1, $A2, 1), DATE data: $A, "<" & EOMONTH(A1,0) will GET (DATE B$ 1, $A2, 1, 0) "" "") > 0, SUMIFS (data: $B, given: $A, "> =" & (B$ 1, $A2, 1), DATE data: $A, "<" & EOMONTH(A1,0) will GET (DATE B$ 1, $A2, 1, 0) "" ""), "")

    Select copy of cell B2

    Select the cells B2 at the end of F13, dough

    now select cells A2 through F13 and add a graphic (the XY scatter diagram)

    Add new year add one (or more) new columns for "table 1", then add the year to the top:

    Now alone, click the chart to activate the chart.  then click on the button 'change data references '.

    now, drag the data reference control handle to the right to add the new year to the table:

    You can add several years to the time, so you don't have to it very often

Purge the Signon audit data the default date that is displayed is the current date. but I want to replace it with the current date less than 2 months. It's easy to do that when I run it manually, but in the planning of it, the only option I can think replaces the value set FND_STANDARD_DATE with custom value defined in the parameter check date. Is there a way to better/more easy to change the default date to the date of the day less than 2 months?

    Plan the query to run once per month (re-run each month) from two months ago and activate "not date setting each run.

    If your query contains date parameters, you can select ' Increment date settings each run "so that the value for this parameter is necessary to adapt the new submission interval. For example, if the value of the parameter is 25 July 1997 07:00 and your interval is monthly, is set to August 25, 1997 07:00 for the next presentation.

  • Incremantal loading data:

    I have two tables  EMP1,EMP2_HIST is a history table
    EMp1 is an OLTP table,EMP2_HIST is a history table
    daily incremental data is loaded from EMP1 to EMP2_HIST tables
    how can i do this one through PL/SQL

    How can i achieve this one .Can you Please explain me on this

    Hello

    you want to say that you will get all the days of data and you want to transfer it into the test table and then compare it with you live table, if the record exists then it should be updated and if records does not exist then it must insert that correct the records.

    Hope you have created primary key on you live comparing table would be easy with the test table.

    for this, I think you have two ways...
    (1) merger of use
    (2) cursor.

    How to use the merge.

    create or replace procedure test
    as
    begin
    MERGE
          INTO  live_table a
           USING test_table b
           ON  ( a.primary_key = b.primary_key......you can specify multiple column name here. )
        WHEN MATCHED
        THEN
           UPDATE
           SET   a.column_name1 = b.column_name1,
                a.column_name2 = b.column_name2
       WHEN NOT MATCHED
       THEN
          INSERT ( a.List_of_Column_names_you_need_to_Insert)
          VALUES ( a.List_of_Column);
    Exception ---if you catch any exception here
    end;

    cursor,

    create or replace procedure test
    as
    cursor cur is select * From test_table;
    v_1 number;
    begin
    for rec in cur
    loop
    select count(*) into v_1 from live_table a
    where  a.primary_key=rec.primary_key;
    if v_1 >0 then
    update statement;
    else
    insert statement;
    exception if you have any;
    end;

    Note: -.
    Its recommended to use the statement of merger or Clean updates on a cursor For loop.

  • Transfer of data from one database to another

    Hello

    We have two databases on both exadata machines... we need to transfer a huge amount (more than 50 million lines) data regularly between these two databases...
    One thing we can do is to create the database link between these two databases and data transfer...

    other than that is there a better way in ORACLE 11 g to transfer data... data loading is incremental data load in the tables...

    Thank you
    RAM

    I would just use a database link. GoldenGate is expensive and powerful, data with filters pump is a bit more complex and cannot be a faster. One thing you could do is to create logs of materialized view in the database of origin and convert the destination in materialized views tables (create a materialized view TABLE_B in select * from TABLE_B@source_database), then use 'RAPID' refreshes to update the data. I did it and I can tell you that discounting 'fast' is actually fast when you keep it simple. But it is perhaps too exaggerated.

  • Incremental loading of Source

    Hi gurus,

    I'm looking for a way to extract the incremental data from my source tables in Oracle.

    I designed an INF_CUST of Interface that loads data into my staging table STG_CUST table SRC_CUST of the source.

    This interface directly load the data.

    I want to design the interface in such a way that -

    The first time I run the interface must retrieve all the data from the source.

    Thereafter, every time that I should choose only new or updated rows.

    Table source SRC_CUST a last_update_date column and I need to recover data that has been updated after I ran my interface.

    Is this possible in ODI?

  • Convert C unsigned char in a string

    I'd like to convert this C code in LabVIEW.  I'm a little confused on how to load the SendData in my .so or .dll (for windows).  The supplied CPCI75C3_SER_TransmitBuffer function takes in a string. How to convert this table to unsigned char in string?

    unsigned char SendData [8];

    ...

    for (i = 0; i< 8;="">
    SendData [i] = (unsigned char) i;           / * incremental data * /.

    / * Add a delay here for the receiver is ready * /.
    nai_msDelay (500);

    nNumWordsSend = i;
    printf ("\nSending %d words... (', nNumWordsSend);
    status = CPCI75C3_SER_TransmitBuffer (map, nMod, nChan SendData & nNumWordsSend); / * send data * /.

    Seems to me that call library function node is configured correctly.

    EDIT: you updated your post after I replied.  An unsigned char is identical to an unsigned byte (U8) but how you configured it now is fine, no need so that she takes a byte array, unless I misunderstand what you're asking.

  • How do periodically for simultaneous calendar request with different parameters

    Hi team,

    I want to plan a competing application periodically, but want to pass parameters of different date for each series.

    Please help me.

    Thank you

    Anmisha.

    Hello

    Here is the solution I got plan a competing application periodically, but want to pass parameters of different date for each series:

    Tick "increment date settings performed."
    option.  If the application contains the date
    settings, choose ' Increment date settings each run' for the value.
    for this setting adjusted to match the new submission interval.   For example, if the value of the parameter
    on July 25, 1997 07:00 and the monthly interval, the setting is adjusted
    August 25, 1997 07:00 for the next presentation.

  • change the source tables in the materialized view

    If I change the name of the source table in a materialized view, I have to delete and recreate the MV? For example, My MV uses a table from a DBlink. Instead I want to physically copy the table in the schema, and then create the MV using the local table, then change MV to use the remote table and I expect to start refreshing the MV for incremental data. Can I do it?

    No, you can't.  Oracle has no way of knowing that the modified table (name) is identical to the original table.

  • Write access is necessary GL_TRACK_DELTA_BALANCES?

    Hello, I'm under FDM/ERPi version 11.1.2.2 extracting data from Oracle R12.  Our Oracle R12 GL_TRACK_DELTA_BALANCES table has only read permissions.  The data seem to shoot and charge in FDM very well, but I wonder if this will create a long-term problem.  Can someone comment on why we should change to write permissions?  Thank you much for the help!

    Write access is required to allow EBS GL keep track of shipments of additional data that have been performed by ERPI. This allows only the differences between the last load for a period and a new charge for a period to be charged, rather than load the full set of data each time. If you plan to use incremental data loads then write access would be necessary.

  • Query on Aggergation Views

    Hi all

    I have a query on the global view of ASO.

    If I created aggregated views of ASO cube with existing data and when adjustments are made after the creation of views, if he pulls the numbers that have been aggregated before adjustments or it will give the last number which is adjusted?

    Thank you

    Srini

    You will get the most recent issue.  ASO is magical.

    More seriously, Essbase may or may not create additional views on incremental data, but it will do this without any action required from the administrator.  When you query may take the original value of your aggregated data and add possible changes to incremental data (with or without additional views), before returning the result.

    If you load "of not incrementally", merge your incremental data or restructure the cube, Essbase recalculates the views, but even once it does "implicitly" without any required administrator instructions.

  • ORA_ROWSCN continues to increase without any DML

    Hi Experts,

    I use ORA_ROWSCN in ETL for the incremental data capture.
    Problem is that the ORA_ROWSCN continue to increase for some table without any DML.
    Table have ROWDEPENDENCIES.
    There is no audit, trigger, or batch running on the tables.
    Database is 11.2.0.3 on Windows 64 bit OS.
    ETLs perform DML heavy overnight. During the day, max (ORA_ROWSCN) continues to rise for a few tables.

    I noticed that during the questioning of a few paintings, SCN_TO_TIMESTAMP (max (ORA_ROWSCN)) has shown the current timestamp.

    Can cause the "delayed block drain plug" this?

    Congrats on being one of the few to ask a question which is, as Arte Johnson (of Laugh-In fame) would say, "very interesting".

    Unfortunately for us, you have also provided your own answer! ;)

    Drain plug can cause that? Yes - one of the oddities of the drain plug delay block even with a table by using ROWDEPENDENCIES is that Oracle may not always determine the exact SCN and therefore can use slightly more high when finished.

    Reliable? Yes - ORA_ROWSCN is reliable enough. But, as you will see, you must force the Oracle to drain plug blocks before use ORA_ROWSCN to query the changes.

    I wonder if the ROWDEPENDENCIES guarantees 100% accuracy
    ORA_ROWSCN for each line.
    As far as I understand it, it can still generate false positives, but much less, because each row has its own ORA_ROWSCN that is NOT affected if other lines in the block are updated or locked/jerks, but still can be slightly higher than that of true to the line itself when Oracle it cannot determine precisely when cleaning

    Yes, here is the example of the impact of the delay block drain plug:

    drop table plch_test2;

    create table plch_test (number, varchar2 (100) tilte, number of val) rowdependencies;

    insert into plch_test values (2, 'to update and commit to step 2', 0);
    commit;
    end;
    /

    update the value val = 1 plch_test where a = 2;

    change the built-in system buffer_cache;

    commit;

    create table plch_test2 (number, varchar2 (100) tilte, number of val) rowdependencies;

    Start
    insert into plch_test2 values (3, 'create and commit to step 3', 0);
    insert into plch_test2 values (4, 'to update and commit 1e5 times in step 4', 0);
    commit;
    end;
    /

    Start
    because me in 1... loop 1E5
    Update plch_test2 the value val = val + 1 where a = 4;
