• Windows 7 Internet on the main office/main screen being blocked please help

  For some reason any Windows 7 does not allow programs download from the internet. Programs (Adobe Digital & OverDrive Media are the two main) used to be able to download, but they no longer work. I've placed on the green list to come through the fire wall and I'm not running on a proxy server. I'm at a loss as to why he worked for years and now he's no longer. I tried the two patches that were given for both programs and nothing has worked. For Overdrive Media I get the answer that it is not connected to the internet and to digital Adobe, I get a different error that I looked and it said that the program could not through the firewall, changed cela setting and still have the same error. I also used to get the tab accu-weather on the top of the scree, but now he tells me that I am not connected to the internet. But clearly, I am as I am typing this question. We did not have any changes made to our Web server or provider and the internet seems to work fine as well. I have also just finished a computer virus scan to determine if there is a problem here and nothing came. I tried to unplug the router to reset my IP address and that did not help. Any suggestion would be great.

  If you bought a key, with or without DVD or packaging of EBAY, or any other person or seller and this could be a MSDN key because your key has been blocked you can check a few things yourself, if you have received your key with the physical product go to www.microsoft.com/howtotell and check your product, however some counterfeit software are thus convince you may not be able to identify it as such.

  To check your PID press the key to victory and the pause at the same time, or system opened via the Control Panel, scroll to the activation section and properties related to computing PID will look something like this 12345-067-1234567-54321, the part that you are interested in is the section to three digits, if it corresponds or is included in one or two digits for the examples below You probably have a MSDN key.

  Hi, guys. I just joined because I can't seem to find a solution for the problem that seemed to just start today... and I don't know much about computers except how to cause problems!

  I currently have a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 and running a 32-bit operating system.

  I just installed Norton 360 Version 4 on the computer yesterday, and that's when my problems began. I don't know if I'm having a conflict with the anti-virus program and windows, so Windows is having the problem.

  The thing is, Windows Defender will not download updates, and does not update Windows. It was working fine before, but now it seems that it is having serious problems.

  When I try with Windows Update, I get this: "code 80040154."

  When I try it with Windows Defender, which tells me that in the Security Center, is obsolete and should be checked for updates, I get this: "error found: code 0 x 80040154."

  Does anyone have this problem? If so, how it was fixed? And please, try to explain as clearly as possible, because I think I could have found the answer somewhere else here, but I did not understand what the devil posters spoke.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
