  What I do is to maintain a list of 3rd party apps I have installed on my BB. Because I'm "attention to detail", I still maintain this list of things that I got via AppWorld or other sources that maintain their own list of what I have bought/installed. I also maintain a manual backup to my PC which is on my map of media - now it's easy since it is simply my entire library of music, videos, and only a few documents of any type. But your use may vary.

  I'm having a problem with my Pearl. This morning, as soon as I start or receive a call, a rattling noise starts coming through the speaker who will cancel the person at the other end. The click is regular and when I activated the loudspeaker and could look at the screen I noticed that the volume bar is jumping up and down too...!

  It seems not important whether it is an incoming call or outgoing, or if the speaker is turned on or not, I could not test it yet with the helmet, but I'm going tonight and see what happens.

  No, I didn't fall this morning...

  I had the same problem with my 8320 which lasted three days.  I think that the problem is caused by the headphone.  The soft reset and wiping the phone it only, she began to work again after the insertion of helmet and move the headphone jack.

  If you are certain that there is no intrusion of humidity of 100% (honestly, what you describe seems decidedly like that... but still), so I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  Yes, it's the normal way, even with the e-mail as well. It automatically gives you the slot for a second to:, but it is empty and your recipient does not see.

  Go to Options | Applications (or Options |) Advanced options | Applications). Don't you see that they are always installed? If not then if you try to reload the OS again you should be able to put check marks next to Notepad and tasks to reinstall applications

  Until a few days ago this phone has worked in the car (Bluetooth) and elsewhere.

  Suddenly, when I was in the car with the phone, I got a call that I could not access. I tried to connect, but the device did not respond.  However, I could cut an incoming call.

  I have the 8830 World edition.  Political COMPUTING is on the phone from the previous employer and there is no cooperation of the former employer in order to remove this to allow outgoing calls to be made WITHOUT entering a password each time the phone is used.  I own the phone and received from Verizon to validate ownership.  Verizon has so far been unable to help here in the Denver area before you say back to the employer.  All the data has been deleted on the phone, but still requires password each time before you make outgoing calls.  Bifocals was useful in the evaluation of the it in place policy.  Thank you.  Now, I can't wait to buy a new phone when I'm perfectly fine but the problem described above.  Can it be resolved without returning to the Corp. that created the password requirement?
