  • Restore 3 rd-party apps blackBerry smartphones?

Is there a way to restore all my applications 3rd - party after an upgrade of the OS or restore?  I backed up and restored everything to implement, but only restored apps are ones that come with the basic settings BlackBerry.  I hesitate to make an another operating system upgrade, if I can't get back my apps too.

All the apps you have purchased via BlackBerry AppWorld are still there, you just have to connect to AppWorld and refresh your list.  If they are compatible with the new OS, they will be there for you.  You need to just accept the end user license agreement once again for each.

If you bought all the apps also, you will need to go to each site individually, log and see if they will let download each of them once for free.

    I hope that helps you.

    Hi Tamara133

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

KB23677  :  How to switch using BlackBerry Desktop Software devices.

Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.

    Hello tooblackish

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Sorry for the trouble, but I noticed this same problem with few other users, who could not send pings to any BlackBerry 10 there BlackBerry 7 devices.

To solve your problem, I suggest to re-install BlackBerry Messenger!  To do this on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device powered on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the latest available for your phone model. If device reboot prompt do then sign in with your ID BlackBerry even.

Try it and tell us how it goes.
