Info on the Navigation bar blocks the app

I am in the process on porting my app to android for BB. It does not work as expected to a certain extent. On the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen by pressing the information icon blocks the app. Logcat don't don't give it to any output, after pressing the force close button logcat said that gc released an amount of memory. No work around for this question please. Thank you

If I remember correctly, this is a bug in the Simulator. If it's nothing you should worry, because on the device itself, it will work as expected.

  • Add actions to the BlackBerry 10 Android app navigation bar.

    Hi all

    I wore one for BB 10 Android app. I have observed that I get a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, with icons defalult ('Back', 'info', 'Hide', 'Overflow'). I wanted to know is anyway to add our own actions (Ex: including buttons 'Previous' and 'Next') in the bar of navigation through source code Anroid.

    If not through the Android source, which is available workaround...

    Can someone also tell me is it possible permanently show the navigation (showing probably not 'hide' icon in the navigation bar) through Android code.

    I hope that my questions are very basic since am new to porting of BB, but very curious about things. Thanks in advance.

    Ah, it's also not possible.

  • Transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar all THE apps in Lollipop

    Hello community,

    I want the report to the screen, a bad feature of our Sony with press.

    The navigation bar that contains the soft keys touch remains black in all applications (exception Album and other Sony apps). It smells very bad to see, so there is a solution, a mod, an app WITHOUT ROOT to have a transparent or semi-transparent navigation bar?

    For example, in Chrome, will be perfect to have transparent navigation bar to see full web page complete!

    Thank you!

    Hi Alexdon,

    I read the thread, but does not answer my question; It talks about the immersive mode, but not on the transparent navigation bar.

    But, indeed, the immersive mode is better than the transparent bar, so I searched the web on and I found an interesting application, requiring no root, which allows the user hide the navigation bar in ALL the apps and home screens.

    So, I don't know how Sony has not implemented this feature HIGH on his Xperia devices wih the latest firmware, because it is a feature that enhance value, functionality and beauty of its features...

    The app is named on game of Google as a store GMD Immersive Mode full screen and his works fine (tested personally). The only bug is the keyboard, a bug of Android, where the navigation bar must be required to type and should not used with the camera app (but app inventory also have similar immersive mod).

    I hope that this thread can help other users and, especially, can be read by employees of Sony to natively implement this update functionality in the future or when comes out the new home screens.

  • Is there a way to block the spread of navigation bar for a specific page/section?

    Hello

    I would like to know if it is possible to hide the navigation bar for a specific post/page?

    In our society, we have built a presentation guide to our sales representative. We have recently added a html content embedded in the presentation.

    The question we have is that the html page contains drop-down lists boxes. Each time we press the drop down menus, navigation bar will appear. It really is intrusion with the user experience.

    I know it is possible to turn it off for the application, but is it possible to simply to block for the page that contains the embedded HTML code?

    Thank you!

    John

    If you make your HTML consume all the gestures of contact on the page I think it's going to keep the top navigation bar to appear. However this does not mean your readers will not be able to slide off the page, and you can use hyperlinks to take them to other content within the application.

    If you use DPS 2015 instead of that we have API, you can call since in the code HTML to have the finer level control over how the gestures are handled in HTML.

  • Make the fixed Navigation bar drop Menus still appear on the top

    You can see my problem here

    Using Dreamweaver - how do the fixed Navigation bar down Menus still appear on the top - YouTube

    I'm not too familiar with dreamweaver and don't know how to ask this question or even don't know where is the problem. I did the navigation bar have a fixed position, but the rest of the items would appear on top of the value net asset bar when I scrolled down. How to make the navigation bar always be above all down the screen so the menus and submenus appear always on top?

  • How to hide the mess of buttons that occupy two lines on the right side of the Navigation bar? Customize does not affect the

    I just got an update 8.0.1 and now I have a set of not less than 20 icons at the top right of the Navigation bar.

    It's left arrow, right arrow, X, reload, home, Basel, clock, star, unjknown, unknown, window with + in it, scissors, two documents, Clipboard, four directions,-, +, two circular arrows, RSS icon, another arrow to the left.

    Some of them would be useful, but not two rows of them; However customize doesn't let me drag out - they move as a whole block and just snap back on the release.

    In addition, when I mouse over this area they Flash quickly on and outside.

    Can you advise how to choose which of these elements, I want to see: they take a lot of space and I only need about 3 - 4 of them.

    Thank you!

    Start Firefox in SafeMode (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and the option "Reset tools and controls bars. This will return you to the stock icon set that you can then customize to your taste

  • When you click on the 'Info' to the background action bar button, the application crashes.

    Hello

    Recently, we have brought successfully a BlackBerry 10 Android app.

    Everything worked fine, except the thing that when you click on the "Info" button in the action bar that appears at the bottom of the screen - the application crashes.

    I guess that this button should display a connection, or the help page. In our application, we have such a page (like an ActionItem in the ActionBar).

    Yes, is there a way we can fix it, so that when clicking on "Info" button to view our about page? Or at least to do something to prevent the application from crashing, for example hide this button.

    PS: We tested the app in the simulator of Alpha BB 10 Dev.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thank you for your comments. In fact, it is a known problem in the current Runtime Android on the Simulator release BlackBerry 10. It has nothing to do with your application, as this action bar fits into the Runtime Android and not your application. Normally when you section the 'Info' button you will see a screen showing you must use the gesture of back scanning used in applications Android Runtime. If you want your own topic button, you need to create your own menu.

    See you soon,.

    See also in the doc: 4 definition of a Mobile Application (version 2.0.1.0.0)

    If a component of the application uses images customized for the navigation bar and springboard rather than the default ones provided by the MAF, you must create these images to the specifications described by Android developers website ( http://developer.android.com/design/style/iconography.html ) and in the chapter "Custom Icon and Image creation Guidelines" in iOS Human Interface Guidelines, which is available since the iOS Developer Library ( http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/navigation/ ).

  • How to disable the navigation bar in an article

    I have an image slider in a HTML article which can go full-screen. The button to exit full screen, however, is at the top of the display window and becomes hidden by the bar when the user clicks on the navigation screen. Is there a way to disable the navigation bar for a HTML article? I've attended MAX and remember them mentioning something HTML API, but I don't know how it works.

    Hi Zac,

    There is an API, and you can use it to block gestures are passed to us in your HTML article. See Digital Publishing Solution helps | Create articles to HTML for DPS 2015. There is information at the bottom of the page.

  • Navigation bar to collapse, the pasted image cursor width.

    Slider (carousel) image on my site is wide and I can't enlarge the width? The height on the other hand works, but not the width. Also, it seems that the navigation bar on my site 'collapse' in the three buttons aligned a little late. Meaning that you check the width of the smallest Web page it narrows right down.

    My site: file:///C:/Users/alex/Desktop/rootforsite/index.html

    Thanks for the help.

    If you change the width of the container, then the slider will adjust. Make sure that the sum of the two columns add to 12 as in

    "http://rootforsite.azurewebsites.net/img/pic.jpg" class = 'img-responsive center-block' / > '.

    Bootstrap 3 being mobile first, the navigation bar is reduced by default and expands when it reaches a certain minimum size. 3A bootstrap site makes a 'hint' as to what to do: http://getbootstrap.com/components/#navbar.

  • How can I get my navigation bar to stay on one line when the browser window is reduced to the minimum?

    I am new to coding and that you just created my first website in html and css.  I know that coding is quite disastrous, and I have a lot to learn and I hope someone can guide me in the way to solve this problem.  When the window is minimized, the navigation bar is broken down into 2 or 3 lines but I want the navigation bar to fit the window, regardless of the size of the client machine.

    I think I should add a media query, but I don't know if I do and if until the code to use and where to put?

    I fear that the page will be visible correctly on a desktop computer and I really want to learn how to make a fluid layout that can be accessed on 320px, 768px and 1200px.

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  • Navigation bar instead of the standard first-previous-next-last page numbers

    I want to add page numbers to my navigationbar instead of the standard «first previous next last»

    For example, I have a repeat with a navigation bar (standard) region, I have 7 records per page and I would like to say at the bottom:

    1 2 3 4 5 ect. Is it possible that I can code this upward with php or with dreamweaver or y at - it another way to achieve this.

    Any help welcome

    You can do this in DW

    Add the code below

    style it as

    .pages {display: block; width: 100%; text-align: center;} Clear: both; do-family: Verdana, Geneva, without serif ;}

    .pages ul {margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none ;}}

    .pages li {display: inline ;}}

    strong .pages {police-weight: normal ;}}

    .pages .next {margin: 0 ;}}

    .pages, .pages .the strong, strong .ellipsis .pages {display: inline-block; padding: 2px 6px; margin: 0 2px 0 0 ;}}

    .pages one {border: 1px solid #DFDFDF ;}}

  • How can I change the background image for a single tab on the navigation bar

    I create a film site for LEVEL and for the navigation bar, I intend to have a different character for each tab. However, I can't put one image of each separate tab. Instead, a single image appears on each of the tabs. Here is an example of the CSS source.

    < td width = "200" > < ul id = "navigation" > < br / >

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/index.html "> home < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/cast.html "> Cast < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/pictures.html "> photos < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/soundtrack.html "> music < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/interview.html "> Interviews < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    "< li > < a href ="... / pages/links.html "> links < /a > < /li > < br / >"

    < /ul >

    < table >

    #navigation {}

    list-style-type: none;

    padding: 0px;

    margin: 0px;

    }

    #navigation li {}

    margin: 0px;

    padding: 0px;

    list-style-type: no

    }

    #navigation li a: link, #navigation li a: visited {}

    display: block;

    Width: 200px;

    height: 100px;

    text-decoration: none;

    text-align: center;

    line-height: 100px;

    do-family: "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

    make-weight: bold;

    -webkit-transition: 1000ms relieve;

    -moz-transition: 1000ms relieve;

    -ms-transition: 1000ms relieve;

    -o - transition: 1000ms relieve;

    transition: 1000ms relieve;

    color: #648AAE;

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-image: url (.. / Images/gifs/Batman-still-2.gif);

    background-position: center bottom;

    text-transform: uppercase;

    letter-spacing: 0.79em;

    border-radius: 5px;

    }

    #navigation li a: focus, #navigation li a: hover, #navigation li a: active {}

    Color: #000000;

    background-image: url (.. / Images/gifs/Batman-animation-2.gif);

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    background-position: center bottom;

    background-color: #454545;

    border-radius: 25px;

    }

    So, how can I put one image on each of the tabs (home, cast, photos, etc.). Thanks in advance for your help.

    Assign a class to the element, and use CSS to apply an image as in

  • class = 'home'; > Home

  • Cast

  • Photos

  • Music

  • Interviews

  • Links

  • and the CSS

    #navigation li a: link. Home, #navigation li a: visited. Home {}

    background-image: url (.. / Images/gifs/Batman-still-2.gif);

    }
