  It's probably a compatibility problem with libraries updated PDF vs you desperately old ACAD that cannot be resolved. In any case, I would consider it one of those things to try to attack the problem on the wrong end. All major CAD software have native PDF export these days and same ACAD had at least since v2006...

  Delete all the files in the following folders:

  C:\PrgroamData\Adobe\SLStore

  And delete all the files in the folder following except cache.db

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD

  Then launch Acrobat, accept EULA and enteryour Adobe ID to allow the software subscription.

  Our computer died.  We bought a new, upgraded to Windows7 and struggled to activate Microsoft Office 2010.  I still have the drive and the number of series Adobe Acrobat 9 that I had on the old computer but thought that you are only allowed to activate it on a single computer.  After the trouble we had already I won't take the risk simply "having a go".  Can someone please tell me what to do?  Do not forget, that we are very technologically challenged in this household.

  you are allowed to two simultaneous activations with your license.

  so, if your computer dead had activation only, you can install and activate on your new computer.

  If you want to install on a computer of 3rd you must disable one of your previous installations.  assuming that you can not run the program on your dead computer and click Help > deactivate, you need to contact adobe support and have them reset your number of activations: http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

  To force uppercase, enter the following text in the change like JavaScript event (make sure JavaScript is selected in the drop-down list top-right language):

  I have a laptop HP with Vista home premium.  I installed Adobe Acrobat 8 professional.  I installed Service Pack 1 for Vista and lost features of Adobe.  Whenever I try to open a PDF with a digital signature, the system freezes and requires a hard restart (remove the battery and everything) to go back.  Given that digital signatures are a part of my daily work, they are required to work.  I uninstalled SP1 and everything went back to normal.  Any update or fix for this?

  The Telnet utility to connect to other computers over a local network or on the Internet. Unlike a modern Web browser, Telnet uses only the controls text to interact through the network. While this method is a little outdated, it is still used by advanced users to test a network or perform maintenance on the system. Telnet is included with Windows 8, but is disabled by default. You can use the control panel to activate Telnet and then perform the network with application basic commands.

  a. open Control Panel. This can be done through charms, Windows + X, or by conducting a search on the start screen.

  b. Select programs from the main menu.
