Information on the State of the battery
Hello
I bought 4540 s Probook Ci7 four days ago. I installed windows 8, 64 bits. I checked the status of the battery with HP support assistant, and the result is:
Cell voltage mV 1: 0
Cell voltage mV 2: 4184
Cell voltage mV 3: 4183
Cell voltage mV 4: 4186
My question is, why the 1 cell voltage is 0 MV. Is this the correct state and battery works very well or battery is damaged and I can guarantee to replace the battery.
Thank you
The results you see are normal. There is nothing wrong with your battery if you see a result comparable to that in the image below. The battery has 6 cells effectively. Add the three values for the fickle current terminal of the cells in the battery. The value will decrease the remaining capacity becomes lower and a recharge is needed.
The following result is my current loan product HP-Envy17-3002ea and the HP Support Assistant.

Well, I found a solution. You need these TWO entries in your info.plist file:
Status bar is initially hidden YES
Discovers the appearance with controllers status bar ONLY
That's all!

How to ensure that the battery has a long service life?
Hello!
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A80 and I was wondering how can I make sure that my battery will have a long life. It is said that the battery is achieved if it is fully charged, and used the laptop to power grid. Does this mean that I have to take my battery while I'm doing this?
Thanks for your help![Edited by: admin August 6 05 14:46]
Hey Niji
If you need some useful information on the battery and the other parts of your unit, you can visit the site Web of Toshiba.
I found this site:http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com
Please go to support & download, then the Knowledge Base.
This site is very good.Good bye

I think I have to reset the SMC on my MacBook Pro, but I need MUCH more information on my MacBook Pro. For example, is the battery removable?
Depends on what year it is.

Why - what the apple mouse always unplug, then reconnect. No matter the State of the battery - new or otherwise.
When did start? I have the same problem for about 3 days. I downloaded and applied update of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Combo, ran disk utility and ran disk first aid. Have not had a problem since (touch wood because it is only since the mid morning today).

PC Health Monitor - assessment of the State of the battery on the L50T Satellite-
Last week, I bought a brand new L50t-A-145 8.1 Windows running. Beautiful machine and apparently everything works perfectly.
However when activating the PC Health Monitor, he recorded the drums as being in a State of 'fair'... which means that there ' a loss of capacity, but it will meet the needs of most users. For a new machine, it is simply not good enough... I have a P845t that is over a year who never recorded the State of the battery as in anything other than "good" condition.
I did a number of things (which, I hasten to add, I never had to worry about the P845t or also any other Toshiba laptop)... (1) I charged the battery completely and let run for sub 10% at least 6 or 7 times; (2) I uninstalled PC Health Monitor and downloaded the latest version on the Toshiba site and reinstalled (3) I completely reset the computer. All to... nothing is done, the battery status still shows as that 'fair '.
The reason for which I got a number of options, is that it seems to me there is nothing wrong with the battery... it does not seem to take longer than usual to load and I appear to get the proper use of the machine as she throws... my little finger tells me that there is nothing wrong with the battery.
However, in contrast to previous cell phones, this one comes with the sealed battery (one wonders who the nutter who thought about this or has it been done to overcome the concerns of airport security and other?). Therefore, if it turns out that something is wrong with the battery, it would mean the withdrawal of the front rear and associates of concerns. Or is it strange reading symptomatic of another potential problem with the computer?
So I am sending you the machine backwards, but requested, before, if anyone out there can think of something else I can do to check the situation?
Please keep in mind, I'm not particularly bright when it comes to computers, so any advice must be specified for a layman to understand!
Thank you very much.
Lindsay
Thanks for the comments. I don't know what went wrong, but the essential is that everything is OK again.
Discount to zero has been the good method to check the hardware and software features.

my Windows xp pro computer worked fine but after five days, when I stat my computer I could show only the bios information on the screen then the screen freezes, then I started ahead of time the computer starts at mode, but once again he the disply frozen. I couldn't start my computer. I have a lot of data in my hard drive. What can I do to start computer or recover my data?
First run Memtest86 +:
It runs from a floppy disk or CD and should eliminate or confirm if your one or more of your memory
sticks are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.
Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours (at least 3 full passes), if no errors, then your RAM is OK.

Info on the State of the battery
Hello
I would like to know exactly how Blackberry recognize the battery is connected reverse power / external. What is the blackberry phone has any auxiliary battery as the main
We found that BSTAT_REVERSED State is not in the battery module API, this gives the status correctly. This status indication is present, once the operating system is running / or early in the boot process.
Concerning
Cedric
It is physically impossible to insert the battery backwards and have power points connected on BlackBerry smartphones. So you should not see this status.
FYI, the BlackBerry 850 and 960 ran off a AA battery. So these might be inserted upside down.

Get information about the VM name, owner, State of the Machine and tools State
Hello
I want to write a script to get information about the name of VM, owner, status of the Machine and tools State, because I'm a beginner in powershell I couldn't find any solution yet.
I know how to get the name of the virtual machine and the owner
Get-VM | Get-Annotation -CustomAttribute Owner | select AnnotatedEntity, Value
and how to find the tools and the State of the machine
Get-VM | Select-Object -Property Name,@{N="State";E={$_.Guest.State}},@{N="ToolsStatus";E={$_.Guest.ExtensionData.ToolsStatus}}
Unfortunately I don't find a way to merge the two applications.
Can someone help me please?
Kind regards.
SaPu
Try it like this
Get - VM | Select-Object - property Name,@{N="State; E={$_. Guest.State}},
@{N = "ToolsStatus"; E={$_. Guest.ExtensionData.ToolsStatus}},
@{N = "AnnotatedEntity"; E = {$attr. AnnotatedEntity}},
@{N = "Owner"; E = {(Get-Annotation-entité $_-CustomAttribute «Propriétaire»).} Value}} -
PC Health Monitor - assessment of the State of the battery on the L50T Satellite - A (2)
I'm not allowed to add to the previous thread on this topic... it turns out that my question is not answered as monitor of my laptop is, after two days, returned to showing the battery in "fair" condition... because he did evidence the battery as in "good" condition I've charged the battery completely twice and always allow discharge to sub 10%... not partial at all.
Someone at - it bright ideas?
I guess you are referring to that another thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?threadID=77775From my point of few PC Health Monitor software work properly but probably the battery is in good condition and as a result, you should check with a new battery.

Information about the life of the battery of Equium A100-306?
Hello!
I have a Toshiba Equium A100-306 & am pleased with it.
Of course, I want to protect my investment & having been, in the past, concerned about battery 'memory', I was happy to find that this machine works with a battery lithium-ion - & everywhere I look I see words to the effect that:"There is no memory and no regular bike not needed to extend the life of the battery.
I also found: a lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 charge/discharge cycles. The battery prefers a partial rather than complete discharge. Frequent full discharges should be avoided when possible. Instead, charge the battery more often or use a larger battery. There is no memory problem when unexpected expenses. »
Except, that is, Toshiba (citing the manual) say: "at least once a month, run the computer on battery power until the battery is completely discharged, then discharge the battery."
Then, they suggest "once a week" to ensure maximum capacity.
You will understand why I am confused? I would really appreciate someone stating the above.
Thanks for your time. Cheers, Peter.Hello
Perhaps they have not properly updated their textbooks? I Don t know, but is the only thing I can tell you, that new technologies in mobile systems such as yours are very modern and I think toshiba had a cool technology into their machines, so that systems of remain "without worry".
I suggest you read this article on the type battery that is in your machine so that you can understand the best technology:
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_ion
Hope I could give you an idea...
Welcome them

E2: icon of 'lightning' where the State of the battery must be
Tungsten E2: Instead of an indication of the amount charge left in the battery, where it should be I ALWAYS get the 'Flash' icon instead. For months, even after a wipe-out (and re-setup of data) as part of a battery replacement. Pressing the "reset" doesn't change anything. Is there something to do so that I can return an indication of the battery charge? [Everything else seems to work. [I just can't say when the battery needs recharging.]
Install go and use its much easier to read, the status bars of battery and memory, the percentages, the Volt and the MB of available space. For a bonus, you get a file manager, and it's free.

Charger plugged in but will not charge the battery.

I have my pc is plugged in, but it won't charge my battery<>
Hello
It could be a number of reasons of a battery discharged to a problem with the charging circuit.
You neglected to mention which version of Windows you are using.
You can create a detailed report on the State of the battery to double check the battery status.
1. go to Start / all programs / Accessories. Click on the command prompt and select run as administrator.
2 in the command prompt window, copy / paste the following command.
powercfg-energy-output %userprofile%\desktop\energy-report.html
Press ENTER.
Wait for the command to complete (usually about 2 minutes).
This create a file named energy - report.html and place it on your desktop.
3 go to your desktop and double-click the file to open.
Scroll to the bottom for the battery: battery information section.
You will see:
Rated xxxxx
Xxxxx full last Charge
(Where xxxxx is a number)
Copy this article and paste in an answer here, for analysis.
