inhibit the output always active

On axis 2 of a UMI-7764, inhibition of is constantly active, disabling third party motor driver.  I have 1 configured identically axis in MAX and it works very well with identical equipment.  I traced the problem back at the UMI, otherwise the card controller PCI-7330.  INHOUT2 is constantly on - either high or low according to the polarity switch.  MAX will always the UMI generate command for step and Direction pulses as long as it believes that the axis is not killed.  I do not use of encoders or limit switches at the moment.

Parameters are the following:

Enabled, no feedback, step & direction, active high polarity, with disabilities limit output filters and switches, off limits software and available to inhibit the output active high.

Axis 1 has the same parameters and works very well.

Cable problem was a PIN that was not connect... resolved.

  • Put the output of the cursor without delim

    Hi all

    I simpel strives to provide some output of Ms at the user, initially I did with separator ';', as in reality, the cursor line length will be different, but user insist to remove delimiiter, saying his C app will take care of him, probably it still do not understand it might be variable length. I just played and looks like always I can't put in DMBS_OUTPUT the entire line of the cursor anyway.

    Can anyone advice what would be to circumvent this, probably I can fill up to fixed length with spases or zeros. I think that it still beter use with separator, not a big deal for C to take care of it.

    Thank you all:

    DDL for output columns:

    and here's the output, always with delim:

    1; 1; ID has the right to create new cells
    1; 1; ID has the right to split existing cells
    1; 1; ID has the right to change existing cells
    1; 1; ID has the right to change several cells at the same time

    Few solutions can be as below

    1. capture all results in a plsql table collection type and return it to the user. Ask him to have hash map C App to hold that the result set retruned by your procedure/function.

    2. create a global temporary table (on delete rows commit). All the data in there inside the procedure. Return a cursor ref C app that will select the entire result set among your global temporary table.

  • Analog output still active after you quit the program

    I run the example of VoltUpdate.prj at the exit of a constant voltage level on a PXI-6723.  It works as expected, except when I quit the program, the output is always active during voltage of the lsat.  I tried the code in a project of my own (without all the interface user, just DAQmx code) and the same thing happens.  This is happening despite the calls to StopTask() and ClearTask().  I don't think you need to stop or disable the task before closing the program, anyway.  It should stop any measure a generation when the program ends.  Anyone know what is happening here?

    Change to include the code:

       float64 data = 1.756;
        DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCreateTask("Voltage Out", &myTask));
        DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCreateAOVoltageChan(myTask,"Analog/ao0","",-9.0,9.0,DAQmx_Val_Volts,""));
        DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxStartTask(myTask));
        DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxWriteAnalogF64(myTask,1,1,10.0,DAQmx_Val_GroupByChannel,&data,NULL,NULL));
        DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxStopTask(myTask));

    The last line does not stop the output and neither a StopTask then ClearTask called in the event EVENT_CLOSE of 'panelCB '.

    Make a 0.0V AnalogWrite prior to the stoppage of the task.

  • Assistant of the output instrument always 0.0 without input series, where's the trigger? -Noob question

    Guys keep with me, I'm another PLCs and VB/C programmer, there are still the old paradigms of locking my head.

    See attached vi. After that I disconnected the entry in the series, the wizard exits still instrument 0,0 to its terminal at regular intervals about 1 hz. Now how does the wizard output always inst 0.0 without a trigger entry series? There must be a timer somewhere... but I searched everywhere there is no timer, including by opening the front panel of the wizard of the instrument. I watch the whole bulk of the loop and block VISA etc, there is no synchronization setting.

    So my question is, if there is no entry of series by using the instrument, which is the parameter object that triggers the instrument Wizard still out 0,0 at regular intervals? Where the object/setting?

    Thanks in advance

  • I want to activate the outputs audio multiples to be active, so I don't have to wear my helmet all the time, or need to disconnect anything to the speakers.

    Pretty simple question really. I want to activate the outputs audio multiples to be active, so I don't have to wear my helmet all the time, or need to disconnect anything to the speakers. I checked the 'sound' thing in the Control Panel, but the enable option is not letting actually work. So if I want friends to hear my video games or something else, I turn on my speakers and they can hear it now.

    Thank you.
    Windows 7, 64 bit.

    Audio original tittle: multiple

    Windows does not support this. This is handled by the device drivers or hardware - if they don't support the outputs multiple, you can try the search for an alternative solution.

  • Always replace the output file for serial port.

    Hello, I use Workstation 7 on Linux and use the option "Output to a file" serial port for the logging of messages to the client for debugging.

    It works perfectly, however, if the file exists already workstation asking what to do (crush, add, etc.). It works, but I would like to have the option to auto restart, restore, instant, etc. and this message gets in the way.

    Is he a .vmx parameter I can apply to my computer always replace the output file without asking?

    Yep - found

    you need these two lines:

    msg.autoAnswer = 'TRUE '.

    Msg. Serial.file.Open = 'Add '.

    The best (more reliable), to burn the ISO image to a CD, and update that way.

  • PXI-4110 deactivation and activation of the output

    I'm programmming power CC PXI-4110. I want to activate and deactivate the outputs. I use niDCPower_Disable() to disable the outputs. and the use of niDCPower_Initiate() to activate the outputs. Problem is after I have activate the outputs with niDCPower_Disable() and with niDCPower_Initiate() that I lose all my settings as the output voltage. What I so niDCPower_ConfigureVoltageLevel() and niDCPower_ConfigureCurrentLimit() call before calling niDCPower_Initiate() then outputs are put to the required voltage.

    I want to do is turn on and off just like pushing a button on a Panel.

    For example, I call niDCPower_Disable() to open the relay switch.

    It seems to me like there is a function niDCPower_Enable() which would close this switching relay and not reset all my voltage and current limit settings.

    Any help on the best way to proceed would be appreciated.

    Figured it out using:

    status = niDCPower_ConfigureOutputEnabled (vi_4110_0, channel0Name, VI_FALSE);

    to turn off and then I start with

    status = niDCPower_Initiate (vi_4110_0);

    In this way, my diet is ready to go, but my relay is open.

    When I'm ready to close the relay I follow these steps:
    status = niDCPower_ConfigureOutputEnabled (vi_4110_0, channel0Name, VI_TRUE);

    Then later I want to open the relay call again I have only this:

    status = niDCPower_ConfigureOutputEnabled (vi_4110_0, channel0Name, VI_FALSE);

    Problem solved.

  • Activate the output of Agilent 33210 without clear parameters

    Hi all

    I'm controlling a function generator Agilent 33210 A via USB with the IVI drivers installed on the host PC. I am trying to write a utility that compiles an executable file that will set up the generator and turn out. I want to allow for a scenario where the user configures the device once and then activates / deactivates the output repeatedly over time. I initialize the instrument with the call of hp33210a_init, set it up, turn on the output and then use the function hp33210a_close to let go of the handle and in the end things. This method works.

    My problem is that the only way I can configure the instrument is crushing the parameters on that. Once it is set up, I want to be able to turn on/off output using the settings that are currently on the instrument. I tried to use the hp33210a_init NOT resetting the instrument when all I want is to toggle the output, but the same thing: the instrument goes back to its default settings of the parameters I put on before--settings that worked. How can I turn on/off the output with my executable utility without the new parameters of enetering, which comes out once the user issued a command at the prompt (my utility works on the command line)?

    Thanks for the help everyone!

    Dima2882,

    The IVI drivers are programmed to load the default settings during the call to init. Here are a few suggestions, in order of the highest recommendation:

    1. Keep the same session open driver. If you leave the active program on the comand prompt, then you can keep the original session open all the time allowing you to toggle without changing any settings.
    2. Explicitly define your configuration options every time that you open the session. If each call to init is always followed by the ConfigureStandardWaveform and ConfigurePulse calls.
    3. The next two will be to enter you the drivers, make changes and their reconstruction. Change the default settings to match those you want. This way when the init calls the default settings, they are settings that you want.
    4. Change the driver so that the init call does not have the call to the default settings.

    The first 2 are preferred because you won't have to change drivers and reduce risks in the introduction of more complication. If they will not suited to your application, you must use CVI for open source driver, make the changes, and then rebuild the drivers.

    Let me know your opinion.

    Kind regards

  • Capture the output of a workflow in a different workflow

    I'm calling a WF1 workflow from another workflow WF2. I am able to do and WF1 is running perfectly in the background and the desired output via a return number. Newspapers of WF1 to verify that.

    But I want to capture the output (table/integer) to WF1 by WF2. I can't pass the exit (snapshots) WF2.

  • for months now, I can't watch anything with flash, as it insatlls but does not work, it is defined as still active in the list of addons, and the permissions are active

    I 35.01 FF and can't watch videos requiring flash, it installs ok (or seems as indicated in addons with correct version number) and is set to "always active" in the addons, and I set the permissions on some sites to 'always', but nothing helped. I have now returned to use IE, I would prefer to use FF, but this problem is driving me crazy.
    Thanks in advance

    Dear john99 Further info, I disabled plugins RealPlayer and as you can imagine, they seem to interfere, I activated the flash stopped again, them off and flash now works. Thanks for you input it was greatly appreciated. I can now safely, go back to my beloved FF :)

  • Will not save my tabs in the output, and I did everything on your pages 'help '.

    Just 'improved' (and I use the term loosely) for Firefox 5. It won't save my tabs in the output. I always, just my home page.
    I was all 'supposed' fixes that you suggest. Registration of the tabs in the output are clicked in the menu options. It does NOT help to quit on the file menu and it does load history.
    Why did you mess with things that work? And royally mess them upward?

    Edited by a moderator because of the language. See the rules and lines guidelines .

    Are clear you your history when stop? In Options > privacy, check the settings next to 'clear history of Firefox closing. " If the history is cleared, the tabs can not be restored.

    Things you can do to solve the slow Downs

    If your computer seems to run slower, here are some things you can do:

    Start in Safe Mode , and then repair your hard disk and permissions:

    Fix the hard disk and permissions before Lion

    Boot from your OS X install disk. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the button continue. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu. After that the charges of THE select your entry from hard drive (mfgr. ID and car size) in the list on the left.  In the status area, you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is faulty or has failed. (State SMART is not reported on external drives Firewire or USB). If the drive is "verified", then select your OS X volume in the list on the left (subentries under the entry for the road), click the first aid tab, then click the repair disk button. If THE reports any errors that have been corrected, and then run repair disk again until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the installer.

    Repair the hard drive - Lion-Lion/mountain/Mavericks

    HD recovery start:

    Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until it appears the screen of Menu utilities. Otherwise, restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the OPTION key until the Boot Manager screen. Select recovery HD disk icon and click on the button below.

    When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility. If no error is not reported, then click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

    Restart your computer normally and see if it helped at all. Then do little maintenance:

    For disk utility can't handle situations, the best third party is Disk Warriorutility;  Fixed DW only for problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by the corruption of directory; Warrior drive 4.x is now compatible with Intel Mac.

    Note: Alsoft ships DW on a bootable DVD that will boot Mac running Snow Leopard or earlier. He cannot start Mac that came with Lion or later preinstalled, however, DW will work on these models.

    Suggestions for OS X maintenance

    OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are supposed to take place on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Maintenance scripts that are run at the beginning AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep). If this isn't the case, then a great solution is to download and install a shareware like Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacronor Anacron utility that will automate the maintenance regardless of whether activity if the computer is off or asleep.  Dependence on third-party utilities to run periodic maintenance scripts has been significantly reduced since Tiger.  These utilities have little or no functionality with Snow Leopard or later version, and must not be installed.

    OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

    Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

    Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click the Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If it stops your problem, then re-enable one by one until the problem returns. Now remove this extension as it is the origin of the problem.

    The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.

    Difficulty a few pop ups browser that supported Safari

    Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

    Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

    If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

    It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

    If you need antivirus protection Thomas Reed recommends to use ClamXAV. (Thanks to Thomas Reed to this recommendation.)

    The user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:

    The facts are:

    1. There is no anti-malware software can detect 100% of malware out there.

    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect all targeting the Mac.

    3. the best way to prevent breaches the most is for you as the user is aware that

    the most successful malware attacks rely on sophisticated social engineering

    techniques preying on human greed, * and fear.

    4 Internet pop-up windows telling the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on

    your computer is designed to trick you into installing their malware thinking it's a

    protection against malware.

    5. some of the anti-malware market products are worse than malware

    go where they are supposed to protect you.

    6. be careful where you go on the internet.

    7. don't download anything from sites, you know are safe.

    8 avoid links that you receive in email, always be wary, even if you get something

    you think a friend is, but that you did not expect.

    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume that it is malware.

    Troubleshooting Applications

    I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

    If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

    Basic backup

    For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

    1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

    2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

    used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

    requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

    drive being backed up.

    You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

    1 Carbon Copy clone

    2. get backup

    3 already seen

    4 superDuper!

    5. Synk Pro

    6. Tri-Backup

    Visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the backup and restore.  Also read How to back up and restore your files. For using Time Machine, visit FAQ Time Machine of Pondini for help with all this time Machine.

    Referenced software can be found at MacUpdate .

    Additional tips

    Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

    Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

    Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

    Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

    Before Mavericks

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the drop process .  Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

    Mavericks and later versions

    Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the menu display .  Click the CPU tab in the toolbar.

    This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.
