Ink levels HP C4700 Printer series

I can't find the amount of ink remaining in the cartridges - black or color. I just changed the black not so long ago, and the color is almost new. The printer prints well, but how would I know that I need these two colours?

Something has changed on my system, so I cannot view the ink levels on my printer Deskjet 1050 J410 estimated.

When I select the icon "HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series Properties", he used to be option to view estimated ink levels. This option is gone. The 4 options that appear now are: 1) the HP printer Assistant (which does nothing), 2). Set preferences, 3). See what's printing and 4). Customize your printer. None of these options show ink levels.

  • Photosmart HP 6520: Ink level difference between HPApp and printer

Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. HP Desktop app that shows the ink tank, analysis of the characteristics, maintenance of the printer etc was not compatible with window 10 while it was necessary to download HPA10 compatible remote Windows 10 app printer... This application displays the ink from the printer as being complete however; the ink printer display window icon displays the printer as being low on ink. Tried to restart the printer and restart the computer but the problem persists.

    Welcome @Sistafatti,

Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that the ink levels are not the same. I will definitely do my best to help you.

I would check the ink levels in the printer for a more accurate reading: check ink or Toner levels. Go check in the printer control panel menu. Ink level warnings and indicators provide estimates for planning only.

If the printer is on a network, check the ink levels of: the printer Web server integrated. Simply type the IP address of the printer in the web browser Internet Explorer.

Feel free to click on the button 'Accept as Solution' and the 'Thumbs Up' for my help. Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you!

  • Missing D110A Printer Toolbox & ink levels

My D110a on Win8.1 does not open settings ==> PRINTER box tool. It will not display on PC ink levels, either. Printer and scanner work - most of the time.

    Updates are ongoing.

HP website doesn't help - as usual.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello mellowmarshman,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you are trying to access the Toolbox of the printer for the D110a on Windows 8.1. You need to maybe uninstall and install the printer software.

If this isn't something you have tried, here are a few guides.

    Uninstalling the printer software

You can also try using the HP and Dr. Scan impression, if you run this reply back with the results.

  • How to find the function to remove the ink level

Can someone please tell me how to find the function "for the removal of the ink level window" I need know when I use no to factory ink cartridges. I have Windows XP, but this is probably not important.

    Hi Laura,

Find things such as ink levels is a function of the printer driver.

This is provided by the manufacturer of the printer, and they are the best resource on the operation of their particular drivers. Therefore, it is best to ask the manufacturer of the printer for advice on this issue.

Sometimes, there is an icon in the taskbar that you can get this information. Yet once, it is a function of the driver and the printer software.

  • HP 6122 and find the ink level utility?

    Hi all

It's my first post here, so this is. I have the above printer and am running the latest Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6. I understand the usefulness for my printer is integrated into the OS and rises as 3.3.2 HP printer utility.

My colors have changed and I think I'm running out of one of the two ink cartridges - or maybe both. I'm not able to check the ink levels and to instead come with "information not available".

Here is how I come on this point:

For example, I use Safari as my browser and I select "File" then "print" in the top toolbar. A drop down menu of the icon of my HP 6122 (Docked (attached in my lower toolbar) shows several elements that one is in the lower left, but need you only to Apple's site to buy ink. Under your search under any triangle does not have an ink level indicator.

However, if I select 'print' then of course starts the printing process, and another menu drop-down will appear according to which "the production level" and an "icon of the utility" are present in the upper right. By selecting the 'level of supply' icon will reveal a title of 'general', ' pilot 'and level.' " By clicking on 'level of production', this is where I met "information not available".

My printer is connected to an Apple base station with 'Hello' and I can make prints throughout the day, no problem. The printer is recognized, but why no ink only info level?

Now, one thing that crossed my mind was the fact that I re-fabricated black and tricolor cartridges in the machine right now, but I was told (ink stop) the chip is reset by them at the factory working entirely new. Hmm, all opinions on this or solutions? Also, is there a way to physically select one of the buttons on the front panel, which can print a page that displays ink levels? I don't have a manual for the machine.

    Thanks a bunch,

    Jack

I believe you can print a test page which will show you the following ink levels: with the printer on press and hold the Power button, then press the X button once, then release the power button.

If the above does not work then the following should: turn on the printer. Now press in and hold the power button while pressing the X key 8 times and then on the button continue 4 times, then release the power button.

  • Problem: cannot display the ink levels

I can't view the ink levels. Customer support can't help. Use the Windows 7 operating system

Have 'obsolete' HP PSC 1410 All in One

Always had HP Solution center which I did more. IT seems that there was an update of software and no tab displays ink levels. I printed sheet test that was worthless.

Customer support says that they have no support or the pilot of this old machine. I have my original disks, but my computer will not allow him to run because he has XP

Please let me know if there is a way that I can see my ink levels or to get around this problem

    Thank you!!!

If you have not already installed for this printer, and then try to download and install the latest drivers for the PSC 1410 all-in-one on the HP site.

These can be found here. There is also a document located here, with information on how to check this model of printer ink levels.

If you have already had a previous driver for this printer is installed, you will need to uninstall the old software and install the latest version.

Let me know if you are able to view ink levels with software installed from this package.

  • Display on Photosmart D6160 ink levels

I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 OS. Your website says D6160 drivers are already installed but apparently without the functionality of viewing ink levels. The printer will not print because the ink light indicates a cartridge is empty, but I have no way of knowing that one to replace. I am not prepared to replace all at great expense and be faced with the same situation again. What I really need to buy another printer or is there another solution?

RnRMusicman: run HPPSdr - the test page printed in black only, but when I changed the default printer setting color the color print and subsequent test print from files also printed in color without any error message, so problem seems to have been resolved.

  • Don't print black ink (HP Officejet 6000 E609a Series)

HP Officejet 6000 E609a Series - do not black ink print ---
No warning light indicates low ink levels, so I called "solutions Center". The chart shows all cartridges, color and black to be virtually complete. I then replace the black cartridge with a new cartridge 920XL, thinking that the original could be defective. Same as before results! I (1) printed to a printer status report (2) print a print quality diagnostics page, (3) aligned the print heads and (4) cleaned the print heads, all to nothing does not. I even carefully cleaned the container for the black cartridge with a Q-Tip to collect a small amount of excess ink. Color cartridges are printing very well but the black cartridges will not print. (Either by the way, it seemed to happen suddenly, not gradually). I would be sincerely acknowledging all recommendations to solve this problem.
    Thank you... RP

@ wespikard - here is a link to a document that addresses print quality problems of the model of printer that is mentioned in the first post of this thread. It will give you instructions to solutions that will attempt to correct the output quality of your printer. I hope this helps.
