Recently upgraded iMac G5 OS 10.4.11 and my HP Deskjet 5440 no longer displays ink levels.  HP software is up to date.  What's wrong?

You can try to run it directly from the Finder.

In addition, you can try to install this software

  • B110a MFD: ink levels is not available for vote B11a running Windows 10

    Hello

I recently (perhaps unadvisedly!) upgraded to Windows 10. Now, I can not use the Solutions Center to operate my printer. It's not very convenient, but I can live with that I can do most of the things I do of the iteslf to the printer.

However, the only thing that causes me grief is that I have no access to ink levels. The B110a is strange colors printing this morning and I think it's the yellow cartridge that went, but I have no way of confirming this.

    Can anyone help please?

Thank you for taking part in the community of HP, I would be happy to help you! I see that you have recently upgraded to OS Windows 10 and now, you are unable to access the Solution Center for your HP Photosmart Wireless B110a.

2 do you think the Solution Center on your desktop, or it is not there at all?

    3. do you receive any error messages?

  • Power levels is not available

I went out today and bought a HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni.  I had a Dell 1320c and was not happy with the lack of Mac support.  I noticed that other HP printers that I use on my Mac give me a complete set of options, but this is not the case with this printer.  I can't see the power levels and it is very annoying.  I do some of the print and it is useful to know when I'm on enough toner.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this?  HP will put specific for this printer drivers so that I'll be able to view the levels of supply?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    See you soon,.

    Jake

You don't specify what version of Mac OS X you are using.  In Snow Leopard, I see the power levels on my 1518ni connected to the network by accessing the System Prefs, Print & Fax, click the printer, and then click 'Levels to provide' along the top.

  • Solution Center HP PSC 1610 unable to give ink levels.

Message "ink level is not available", and I can't get the ink levels.  At the same time he gave me the levels, but now I can't. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the HP Solution file using the DVD and the download, but nothing has been resolved.

After all the suggested me has given on the Forum, I finally uninstalled the PSC 1610 printer software and other printing software (model 3050 a) that had previously been uninstalled). By restarting the computer, I found a message about the problem starting with the 3050 a sotware which I thought was deleted (uninstalled too).  After searching around for a solution, I stumbled upon the startup file that had a file 'monitor ink levels ". I deleted this file.  After you have reinstalled the software PSC 1610 using the HP DVD I bought, I was FINALLY able to get the graph of ink level HP Solution Center!  Perhaps my accidental solution can help someone else, so I write this message.

  • HP Photosmart D5360: check ink levels HP Photosmart D5360 and use Windows 8.1

check the ink levels HP Photosmart D5360 and use Windows 8.1; Windows 7 has a HP Solution Center but Windows 8.1 is not?

    Hi @torbay,

By your post, I see that you have no software to verify the printer ink levels using Windows 8.1. I would like to help you today.

I checked online and there is a software HP Photosmart full feature and driverswho should still support the printer services. If you use the old or Windows Update drivers, remove them and install the latest drivers.

You can also download and run the print and Scan doctor, it can predict the ink levels and services available for the printer. HP printers - help print and scan the doctor for Windows to solve printer problems. Go to the section how can I use the services of diagnosis and cleaning of printer?

  • HP Deskjet 3051 a: checking ink levels

I have not used this printer for some time and I can't find out how to check ink levels.  Thank you

    Hello

    Please try:

To check the level of ink in the control panel
    1. from the Control Panel Home screen, which displays the copy, Scan and quick forms, press the Setup button.
NOTE: If you do not see the home screen, press the back button until you see.
    2. Select State of ink

To check the level of ink in the printer software
    1. click on the desktop icon HP all-in-one to open the printer software.
NOTE: You can also access the printing software by clicking Start > programs > HP > HP Deskjet 3050 a J611
    Series > HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series
    2. in the printer software, click the estimated ink levels.
NOTE: 1 if you have installed a refilled or remanufactured cartridge or a cartridge that has been used in another printer.
the ink level indicator will be inaccurate or unavailable.
2 NOTE: ink level warnings and indicators to provide estimates for planning only. When you receive a low-ink
warning message, consider having an available replacement cartridge to avoid possible printing delays. You don't have to replace cartridges until print quality is unacceptable.
NOTE: 3 ink cartridges is used in the printing process in a number of different ways, including in the initialization process, which prepares the product and cartridges print, and maintenance of the heads, which keeps the nozzles to clear printing and ink circulation. In addition, some residual ink is left in the cartridge when it is used. For more information, see

  • Photosmart HP 6520: Ink level difference between HPApp and printer

Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  HP Desktop app that shows the ink tank, analysis of the characteristics, maintenance of the printer etc was not compatible with window 10 while it was necessary to download HPA10 compatible remote Windows 10 app printer... This application displays the ink from the printer as being complete however; the ink printer display window icon displays the printer as being low on ink.  Tried to restart the printer and restart the computer but the problem persists.

    Welcome @Sistafatti,

Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that the ink levels are not the same. I will definitely do my best to help you.

I would check the ink levels in the printer for a more accurate reading: check ink or Toner levels. Go check in the printer control panel menu. Ink level warnings and indicators provide estimates for planning only.

If the printer is on a network, check the ink levels of: the printer Web server integrated. Simply type the IP address of the printer in the web browser Internet Explorer.

Feel free to click on the button 'Accept as Solution' and the 'Thumbs Up' for my help. Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you. Thank you!

  • Ink levels HP Officejet Pro 8000 809

Why can't determine the ink levels on my HP Officejet Pro 8000 with the tab printer HP Print and Scan Doctor?

    Hello HPPete,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you are having a problem with getting the HP print and scan from doctor to show ink levels. I will try to help you with this.

To start, make sure that the version of the PSDR that you are using is the most recent. It should be version 4.3.

Then the word "printer" will be grayed out in the top of the window until you have selected your printer and you press Next. To be able to use the drop-down list, you must be on the screen that shows "The difficulty of printing" / "Fix scan."

Once on this screen, you should be able to use the drop-down list and choose "ink levels". This will display the information of ink on another screen for you.

If you have found that up to now, and the ink level are not displayed, then there may be communication problems. Please let me know if this is the case.

I have also two other ways for you to check out ink levels using the PSDR.

This 'check ink levels' document will show you how to print a test page, which has information about ink and levels.

You can also use the HP Solution Center.  If it is installed on your computer, you should be able to open it and click on your printer icon view ink levels.

Please let me know if this was useful for you.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • Check ink levels?

I just install NEW ink cartridges in my printer HP Photosmart 5160.  Now, he says the COLOR is full, but the BLACK shows more than 1 bar.

Are there ways to have the printer "re-check" the cartridges manually?

    THX

    M.

It is possible for a new cartridge to have the same internal serial number as the replacement cartridge. In this case the cartridge ink levels will not be replaced.  Official suggestion is here. HP if this solution is not acceptable, you can reset the ink levels, as described here.

  • PHOTOSMART C410: Not available at this time ink levels. Automatically cancel printing

Recently moved to the new HP laptop. I installed driver and software HP several times.

Connect to the Internet via the VPN

As you copy it, I suspect that the problem is related to software and how it is communicating with the printer. Let't remove the software completely and install the base to start driver.

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type % temp %
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Download the software and choose Save as, save to desktop > PS_AIO_07_C410_FSW_Full_Win_EMEA_140_222 - 4.exe
    4. After downloading software and extracts, reopen the temp folder, use the instructions in step 1.
    5. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)
    6. Open the Util folder
    7. The CCC folder
    8. If you have a computer HP run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have acomputer no HP run the L4uninstall.exe
    9. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    10. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec /Unregister, and then click OK.
    • Hold down the key of the Windows Logo on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run
    • In the Open box, type msiexec/regserver, and then click OK

If you do not at this stage, use this link to perform another way. Restart Windows install

    1. Run the system Accessories\ tool disk cleanup <> How to delete files using disk cleanup
    2. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    3. Restart the computer

Once the computer is restarted, please download and install the driver of base from here: PS_AIO_07_C410_FSW_Basic_Win_enu_140_222.exe

Please let me know if you can print with the base driver. Thank you.
