  I have lenovo T410 and wanted to connect it to my TV high definition. Earlier had problems, but after buying SIIG Displayport to HDMI its job very well. In fact the video and Audio can now be read / listened to on my HDTV via HDMI. However, I have a separate 2.1 computer speaker system, which has much better sound output than my HDTV. Now if I want to see the video on HD TV via HDMI and audio output to speakers for laptop (connected to the 3.5 mm wired 2.1 speaker system), how to do that. I went to SmartAudio settings in the Control Panel, but there is no option of separates HDMI audio to the speakers only.

  I don't want to buy another cable with RGA Audio Converter 3.5 mm female port. Please suggest a direct solution.

  in win 7 do a right-click on the speakers on your lower right corner icon, select playback devices, click on speakers, click on set default, click OK and it should work (sound must come from your computer speakers or the computer 3, 5mm jack)

  I have a video file of 4.4 GB of a recent trip.  It's on my Motion LE1700 Tablet PC to the .mpg format.  If I click on the file, the video and audio both appear.

  My problem: when I import into Movie Maker (by clicking on 'Videos' under 'Import' to the left of the screen) if I can edit and publish later, the properties end up the show as an audio file under 'source '.  It only allows me to drop - drag the file into the audio part of the timeline, and I can't see the video when I play (I can hear the audio).

  What I am doing wrong?

  Movie Maker has problems of compatibility with the MPEG files...
  It may be interesting to try to convert the MPEG for the WMV file
  format before you import into Movie Maker.

  There are many programs that can do conversions...
  The following freeware is an example...:

  and then right-click / Delete the unwanted part?

  Or... to increase the duration of the photos. If you place the cursor on the edge
  a photo on the timeline, you'll see a red double arrow... you can

• PSE video and audio go out of sync on finished product

  A very strange problem has developed.  I have a PRE project that plays perfectly into the program itself, but when I exit the project start audio and video in sync but go not synced to the first place where the audio and video clips are spliced.  To be precise, I have a file mp4 audio (.m4a) synchronized with a .mov file.  At the first break, where I spliced m4a, m4a and .mov to .mov, the project is in phase when I play in the video window of PRE.  But when I have the project output, video and audio go out of sync at the first break.  Other facts:

  • PC, 8 GB of RAM, W7, all installed updates.
  • By using the same file .prel about a month ago, it worked well.  (I tried to do a DVD extra of this project, when the problem came.) The only thing related to the video that changed on my machine was a new version of Studio of GoPro.  Just in case, I uninstalled from my computer and the problem of PRE is still there.  Could GoPro have left something it's messing things up?
  • In this case independent of the output - DVD, mp4 format, etc.
  • If I insert an empty picture at the junction stay video/audio synchronized until the next splice point, when he goes back out of sync.
  • It happened first in PRE9, but I also PRE13 (who reads the PRE9 files) and the problem happening there too, in the same way.

  I am completely puzzled, especially because this same project file perfectly synchronized DVD in the past produced.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  Here's what I read since you wrote...

  You say that your audio synchronized to export this file in a project is present for Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and elements 13/13.1 first.

  These programs do not seem to share/use the same built in programming of the export. And, further, you say that there is this audio desynchronization if burn disk or export the file to one of these versions at this time. Is this correct?

  Even if the problem is not manifest prior to export, which has been described above point to the project file. Have you changed anything in the project settings or export settings in this file of project for good time / wrong time - courses of transitions, component files software plug-in, flow? And you say that look very detailed to the timeline, the content of this one project has revealed no change before and now after? You write

  Would such a program have changed or are damaged?

  From what I just wrote, could the project file has been corrupted, but...

  If you want to look at this as a corruption of program, then you will need to take uninstall, cleaning, reinstall to 9.0/9.0.1 and 13 to dismiss this idea and replace any missing files of exporting program. But, once again, we are dealing with a single project or all your projects with this problem.

  You must press the TV/VIDEO button on your remote control Sony provided several times and then select input VIDEO 6 that corresponds to the entry for the HDMI connection on your Sony KDLV40XBR1 TV.

  If the VIDEO input 6 is ignored, you must press the WEGA GATE, go to SETTINGS, and then select the LABEL VIDEO INPUTS. Under VIDEO LABEL ENTRIES, select VIDEO 6 and turn it on.

• CS4 - no video, just audio

  My apologies for code errors, displaying it on an iPhone!  Anyway, after a little anger on Twitter, I was redirected here from the adobe account and has been invited to send aid, so here I am!  Basically, I imported various files in first and every time it shows only the video and audio. I tried .avi, .mov and .mp4 and all do not work! I also tried the small preview of the box (a 3rd across) box and changed the RGB thing after reading something on google!  Any help would be appreciated, need to edit a piece of 1 minute for United tomorrow so I'm in a big hurry!  Thanks in advance!

  Welcome to the forum.

  The most likely cause of these issues is either lack of the video CODEC required to play these files, or inability to use this CODEC for editing these files PrPro. The first elements that appear in my mind are that they contain the DivX, Xvid CODEC or perhaps MJPEG. For the first two, the conversion is the only answer, or to use other editing software, that can work with DivX or Xvid. For the latter, the installation of the MJPEG CODEC you will get to the top and the edition.

  See this ARTICLE on MJPEG, if G-Spot or MediaInfo (link in the article above) says that it IS the MJPEG CODEC.

  I need to have the video and audio together... not two separate folders, my project is due in two days, and I have no idea how to get them both together... I use cs4 master collection!

  How did you need the project? Will it be a DVD-video, a data DVD, another Portage system?

  If you make a DVD-video, you will want to use again the author who and she will have Audio & video encapsulated in the VIDEO_TS folder structure and resident in VOB (basically MPEG-2 files) in this structure.

  If you make a data DVD, where you'll have a single file (multiplex or multiplex), it is a simple export. If you do not get the Audio & video multiplexed into one file, there are the wrong settings in your export. First of all, you will want to check the export Audio and video export, and then you have to go to the tab of multiplexing (on most Export dialog screens) and choose "DVD" and NOT "nil." This is probably one of these two parameters which gives you separate Audio and video.

  If you need something, tell us what it is and make sure you have chosen the export Audio and video export AND chose the correct setting in the tab of multiplexing - basically nothing, but nothing.

  Good so I took a bunch of my good friend adobe software... the master collection, I think. Use of work in video, photo, audio edition and has now grown sick and withdrew. I asked him if he wanted the software and my luck he said no and let me do.

  I installed a few things to start with, than those of I know not what they are for... (Most of the stuff here just confuses me)

  I installed Photoshop, Premiere pro, After Effects and hearing.

  Photoshop was not easy to get used to, I found how to do a few things and I can do very simple things in it currently. I intend to learn myself... it is very explicit. Hearing is a piece of cake, I'm just starting to learn how to use the effects on the right to the left of the screen... but it's very simple. Nice job Adobe. But when I arrived, Premiere and After Effects, I hit a rock.

  I have literally no idea what to do. I guess it's here comes the 'pro '. What I'm looking for, it's like a very well done video tutorial I can buy that can make you competent in Premiere and After Effects... and maybe a few videos that teach you advanced tricks in photoshop and audition aswell (like stuff I wouldn't be able to figure it out myself) now I don't want to make them as "idiots guide to...". "I wouldn't mind if they are a bit difficult. I'm looking for the best tutorials video I can find on the use of these products. I don't mind if I have to go out and buy the game and if it includes all the other products as well. I intend to learn all. (Not at a professional level, so I can go out and work somewhere...) I find it interesting)
