Insert the date and time in a model of Pages 5,6

When I open one of the default templates provided with 5.6 Pages (for example, a letter), I noticed that the document opens with the current date correctly inserted. Yet when I create my own model and save it as a document template (if in my models or elsewhere) the date stamp is no longer up-to-date. Whenever I have create a new document from the template, it gets stuck on the date that I created the template. This means that I have to click on the date each time and select 'Set today' (it's easy to forget).

My understanding is that the inserted date stamps have is no longer an option of automatic update in Pages 5.x, so I was surprised to see their update automatically in the default templates provided with Pages. How Apple did this, and how do I get the same effect in my own registered designs?

Pages v5.6.2 and OS X 10.11.5.

I do not believe that something has changed with the way that Pages manages the dates that we insert into documents, or our new custom templates. The date will not automatically update for me when I create a new custom with a date of month template or a new document with a stamp of date/time in it. In both cases, wait 15 minutes, when I open it or the other, the date of the month in the model does not change and or don't have time in my document on my desktop.

It stays with v5.6.2 Pages, if you want a date automatically update a model, or in a document current/Sour, you need to use a single table cell, without borders, which is the date of formatting, and has a single equation: = now.

What I can not explain, for example, is the model of research paper that uses a date inserted regular field current date will appear automatically when opened for the first time in a new document. There are no tables in this model. There is no new parameters in v5.6.2 of Pages that can explain this behavior. This does not work for the user created templates. Pages could have been programmed to update only the date in the models grouped fields, but not user models - and if that were true, then it conforms to the demi-cuite nature in all of this application.

Literally, saw this option very well needed - and opportunity-"promise" for three years now, and even if there are only one or two formats that could be used, at least the option is there.

It seems that only is to bind a Macro, and the tool to Thunderbird and do it this way.

You use any of dateformat. The createodbcdatetime sends the correct your DB value if you do it right.

I have a requirement to prove the date and time in the upper left corner of the page that will be updated permanently. The format is DD-ME-AAAA HH24:MI:SS.

Another condition is that on the selection of a particular value in the dropdown the table values must be filtered

    Hello

For the second question, you can search this forum on the "load lov. You are not the first who raised this issue... and there are a lot of answers there.

And now: the time of the server. This can be very difficult, because the time on the server can depends on the physical location (and advanced the time on the server) and if you are using zones, it will be even harder. If your users see once on their screen as real-time, you will get a lot of questions.
And you don't want to update the time (from the server) every second... every second a call from database to get the sysdate to all your users seems a very bad idea. However, what you might do is starting with the actual SYSDATE from the server and pass it as an argument to the clock function and add a second every second... But it will change the minutes and hours also... Overall: it sounds like a bad idea.

Hi I created a table with two columns "Order_ID" and "Order_date" as

    create table test

    );

Now, I insert a line in the

now, I get the result as

But I need to insert the time current system also in the Order_date column.
    How can I achieve this?

    It works well for me!

  • Insert the Date and time of the questions

    Hi all

I have a simple select query as follows... UPLOAD_DATE stands to table1 in the following format: 23/01/2012-13:04:36

    < name cfquery = 'test' datasource = 'test' >

    SELECT UPLOAD_DATE

    FROM TABLE1

    < / cfquery >

and I have a loop around the query above to insert into another table...

    < cfloop query = 'test' >

    < cfquery name = "make_tfer2" datasource = 'test' >

    INSERT INTO TABLE2

    (UPLOAD_DATE)

    VALUES

    (#test. UPLOAD_DATE #)

    < / cfloop >

    < / cfloop >

But, when I insert into table2 it inserts the release date: 23/01/2012... How can I fix this code so I can insert the release date: 23/01/2012-13:04:36?

Your approach is ineffective.  Instead of a loop in the results of the query and make individual inserts, make a single sql insert.

    Insert into table2

    Select all that

    FROM table1

For your post at 04:48, of course there is no component "hour".  The example you showed has time 00:00.

I am creating a stamp of Certification of drawing dynamic shop with fields of text 'Name' and 'Date '. I tried different ways within Javascript, but I can't seem to make it work. Feeling stupid here, but I can't seem to find a way to insert form fields that display the date and time of the currnet, I see where it is possible for a digital signature, but not what I need. It is a sign of customer in the worksheet. I want to know what date and time, the form is printed, without having to manually enter this data. Thank you.

It is supposed to be a space between 'new' and 'Date '. If that doesn't fix it, I'll be happy to post a working example.

  • Add the date and time to a photo

    KADRI

    Christiana

You want to write the date and time in the photo?

You need to do it in an external editor.  Photos can't.

You can print the date and time and other legends on a Board-contact, however.  When you select a photo and then use the model of the "Contact Sheet", you can click the 'Captions' button and select the metadata to use as the legend on the contact sheet.

To write directly to the photo, you can use the Preview.app.

Export the photo to go to Photos and then open it in preview or install the extension of"external editors" of the App Store. Then you can open preview directly from the Panel of editing in Photos.  See this tip for user: external photo editors are here

I know that Press esc to access the bios but there is no option to change the date and time in there. I put the date / the correct time in windows, but this does not seem to synchronize with the bios. I've updated to the latest version of the bios, but this is not enough.

How can I change or update the time in the bios?

    Thank you

    Hello

I doubt this time and date setting BIOS does affect Windows activation time Windows doesn t affect it in my opinion. There must be another reason for this problem.
You can activate Windows by phone?

Normally the date and time in the BIOS can change you if you mark the date or time, and then press on + or - to change this. Sometimes you have to press PageDown/to the top according to the model of BIOS or laptop.
Usually in the configuration of the BIOS you will find a brief info how changing the values.

  • Need to reset the date and time

My system has decided that it is Jan.4th 2004 and everytime I turn it on, I need to reset the date and time. How can I cure this?

Packard Bell's Web site does not recognize the 'ALT' CO2 as a model.  Despite this, however, PB seems only to provide a 'generic user guide"which is not described the replacement of the motherboard or the battery at all.  In fact, the only thing he has to say about batteries is be careful how get rid you of them.

Your computer is a laptop or Desktop/Tower computer?

If you have a desktop/Tower computer, you can look here--> http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/pb/mb/pbmb.htm and see if you can identify the motherboard used in your computer.

However, if you have a desktop/Tower computer, the best thing to do is to unplug your computer from the network and, taking the precautions perfectly static electricity, open the box and inspect the motherboard yourself.

A newish mother on the above site, http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/pb/mb/cosmos.htm, shows the battery on the center line vertical and more to the left.  It's just below the 3 PCI slots.  If you have something like that, a Visual inspection should be enough to see how to remove it.  The type of battery will be engraved on the top of the battery.  In the photo, it looks like a model CR-2032, but there are several models of battery on this size.  Battery CR-2032 (or equivalent) is available in almost every pharmacy chain in the United States as well as online and stores like Radio Shack.

The page for an old motherboard, http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/pb/mb/450.htm, indicates that the battery is a '3.0V DC Lithium soldered to the motherboard"and if that were the case, it would probably be something that you wouldn't do yourself.  However, this thread is to think that all you have to do for this particular mobo is actually finding the right type of support plug-and - battery.

If you have a laptop, things can get quite a bit more difficult.  If you can find a different model for your computer name, you may be able to find the manual here--> http://tim.id.au/laptops/packardbell/ , but some of these manuals can not explain clearly how to get to the CMOS battery.

  • Problems with the date and time - have to reset the date & time on reboot

original title: problems with the date and time

Whenever I turn on my computer (Windows XP 2002) I click on F2.  Then I re - set the date and time it occurred in January 2006 1 h every time I have turn off the computer.  Can someone tell me what I need to do?

You need to replace the battery in time clock (RTC) real of your computer.  It can also be called the CMOS or BIOS battery.

Many computers, this battery is an inexpensive CR2032 button available in almost every pharmacy corner.  There are, however, some computers (especially laptops) that require a different (and probably more expensive) battery.

Whatever the expense, almost all of these batteries are easy to replace.

To get help, post back with the brand and model of your computer.

  • How can I print my photos displaying the date and time stamp

I have pictures in a legal context but do not understand how to print them displaying the date and time stamp.  The timbre of the date and time are necessary for me to present my case exactly.  Can someone tell me how to print with these marks.

    Thank you

The following instructions will prepare photos
with the EXIF Date/time stamp then you can print
    them.

FastStone Image Viewer freeware can add
EXIF Date/time in the face of your photos in a batch.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    FastStone Image Viewer
    http://www.FastStone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

I suggest that you create a new folder and add
copies of your photos for experimental purposes.
If you are unhappy with the result your originals
    will be intact.

After FastStone is downloaded and installed...
    Open the program and go...

Tools / open the Batch Conversion / tab Batch convert...

Check the box... Use of advanced options...

Advanced Options button / tab text.
    Check the box... Add text...

(You will need to experiment with the position and the police
size and color to get the desired result.)
(the text size will need to be adjusted according to the)
    the size of the photos)

Open the window drop... "Insert a Variable."
choose... EXIF Date Time / Date and time...
(in the white field you should see ($H1)
    Left click... Ok

On the Batch tab convert... in the left field...
Left click the square button "select the Source folder.
Find and select the photos you want to
    Add.

Left, click on the Add button to move the files to
    the right field.

    Choose an output Format...

    Choose an output folder...

    Click on the button convert...

It's much easier to do than to explain then
give it a try before say you "Good Grief... it's too
    a lot of work.

When run from SQL over, everything is fine. But when I run this code in our application, the same phenomenon occurs. I've even seen a data dating back to the year 11907 (!), giving an exception by selecting from the table.

Someone at - it an idea on how to work around this bug?
