Inside Maxl file network error

Hi all!

Im trying to make a statement to import Maxl, using files that are inside another computer on the local network.
It issues im having is that EA is unable to open the file, I have access using the file system.
My script is:

...
import the database 'CpResIvr'.' ResIvr' write the data to text local data_file '\\compName\export-essbase\CPResIvr.txt' error
'c:\ExportErrors\CPResIvr.err ';
...

I also tried to use 'file://compName \export-essbase\CPResIvr.txt '.
The error I get in both cases is 1090004 (impossible to open the file).

Can any help on how I provide the path to the file will be appretiated,

Thanks in advance!

The import database is to help drive/folder/volume, not your client of the Essbase server access.

You will need to map this drive on the side of Essbase server first.

There was a thread on this in the past or two weeks - searching for it and all (I mean, everything about drive mapping) will prove.

Kind regards

    Please specify @Pal_coche

Try instead the following path and check if it works, the specified address is not a network location, but rather the local drive path and won't.

    1. Click the icon of the Wi - Fi and select open network preferences.
    2. For the active connection type find and note the IP address.
    3. Use the IP address and the shared path, as e.g. If your Mac IP address is 10.0.0.1, set the network as path-\scan10.0.0.1. Run the wizard by executing a test.

    You can see any difference?

    1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?
    2. which web browser is installed on the computer?

    Method 1
I would say you can do clean start and then try to install XNA Framework. When you perform the clean boot, make sure that you disable all antivirus programs.

Note: Microsoft does not recommend that you disable the antivirus protection in most conditions. Disable the antivirus protection that temporarily to restore a computer.
Note: Follow step 7 clean boot KB929135 article to reset the computer in normal mode.

    Method 2
I suggest you to uninstall XNA Framework completely, and then download and install XNA framework from the following link. Once you install XNA Framework then Touchpack.

    Hello

I'll set up a new essbase server, which I've done several times before. However, the instance essbase wasn't HSS despite configuring reporting success. The essbase service starts and stops but I cannot add the instance in environmental assessments. I get the following message

Error: 1042003: [11001] network error: unable to locate the Hosts file [ictmisdev01]

I looked at the error and have a problem with the windows host file. I added in the name of the server, as it was the local host by default. This was not resolved.

The affected ports are open and authentication happens with the config log HSS and config.err.

The server is a virtual machine.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thank you

    Hello-

    In addition, -.

1 Ping the server from your machine to ensure that it is running. Use additional excel or maxl etc. to verify that you can successfully connect to the essbase.

    2. try to use the full DSN name or IP directly to isolate the problem.

    Hope that helps.

When you press the F8 key and access the Safe Mode start screen, use the arrow keyboard keys to select "Safe Mode with networking" and press the Enter"" key.  A list of startup items you will see on the screen, but after all that, you will get a normal login screen (except the screen may seem bigger than normal and 'Safe Mode' can appear in the corners of the screen.  At this point, log in as any user with administrator privileges.  After successfully login, you should be able to right click on a folder or file and select "Properties".  When the Properties screen, you should have a 'Security' tab at the top.

Another approach is to use the command line command "cacls" to a normal startup that will show and allow you to set permissions on files and folders.  (Start-> Run-> "cmd") and then you can use the cacls command.  The Calc command syntax can be found here:

"Cacls" allows to screw things easily and quite bad so if you can switch to the tab 'Security', which is the way to go.

  • DMA2100 - with error "network error" firmware update fails

    I have a DMA2100 with firmware 1.1.0.

    I use 802.11n Wi - Fi connection.

The DMA2100 connects to the Media Center of Vista computer and has access to the internet streaming media, so I know the network endeavours of the DMA2100. What is frustrating is I can't update the firmware, it takes about 1 minute and then I get a message saying there is a network error, error. I can't figure out why.

    Any ideas?

I hope the new firmware will allow me to play all divx file and not only some Divx files.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi DragonFather,

I've previously read online that the Wireless does not update the firmware if you have enabled encryption.  The short answer is to change to wired in the DMA2100 and then connect it via a wired ethernet connection.

Regarding playback of divx/xvid files, I have the DMA2200 with 1.1.0 firmware (I think I need an update too).  I was able to play almost all the files I throw at it.  The only problem is when a file is encoded in Xvid, but the FourCC information are something other than Xvid announcement, DMA does not understand how to play, even if windows can.  Once I have change this information to "xvid" file works perfectly! The program to change it's Avic100 (it's name, I'm at work right now so feel free to correct me), so have a search on google for it and see if that helps.

Try it and tell me how it works for you!

    Good luck

Have a read of the link above re Vista file and printer sharing.

Permissions/Share info is there as well.

If you use Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro or Kaspersky I.S., make that file and printer sharing is enabled in THE Firewall (or LAN enabled, depending on how their Exceptions are formulated in their firewall)

  • Push registration: (Berr java.lang.IllegalArgumentException) network error

    Hello

We try to get WebWorks push the work but are a problem with blackberry.push.openBISPushListener. The onRegister function returns a status of 1 (network error).

The log file shows the following:

    11/9 10:00:54 W net.rim.blackberry.api.push - Berr java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
    11/9 10:00:21 a Contapp - PushDaemon is started.
    11/9 10:00:21 a Contapp - Register push application
    11/9 10:00:21 a Contapp - open BIS push listener

This application is used to work so I wonder if something might have changed in the upgrade of the server push.

The application code is the following:

And the following push configuration in the config.xml file:

It is all tested on a device 9300.

Any ideas as to why we get this error?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!
