Inspiron one 2020 does not start

I have a 3 yr old Inspiron a 2020 that I left last night and when I woke up, it would not start. I press the power button. It flashes yellow then white. The light on the power supply cable (blue) flashes twice and I can hear a pair of soft clicks from inside the machine, then nothing.

I have unplugged and held the power button for 10 seconds then tried to start it. Same result.

I did a reset CMOS, as described in another post, but does not work.

Hi Bigduke06

Please write to us.

A yellow/orange flashing indicate the system cannot start initialization or is in mode 'sleep'. One or more components may be faulty.

The blue adapter power light should remain solid blue, blinking twice is not really indicate anything.

Wondered, if possible, try another charger, try to reposition the memories.

Using a wireless keyboard/mouse? If so, then make arrangements for a USB keyboard and try to wake the computer by pressing on enter.

Not the machine charges if tried f2 or f12 menu?

If the f12 menu load please run the diagnostics.

If none of the above steps work, I fear that there is a motherboard failure.

I have connected my a 2020 new victory 8 to our office via a network cable and the following occurs: Broadband connects to the router, but not internet access. I can reach our router and see the router configuration and status screens, but not the internet.  The rest of our office has perfect internet access. I tried two calls to support, and abroad, people insist that they go through their material problems even if the network adapter works obviously.  I suggested that it was probably a problem of windows security, and they said to reinstall windows.  Very frustrating.  Any help out there?

I finally got internet connection ignoring suggestions from tech support and following my instinct that he was related to security.  First, I removed the McCaffy and turned off the windows firewall.  Then I crossed the ip configuration for the 6th time and ended up dhcp and my dns settings in tcp/ip to work and I had internet.  Firewall turned on him again and consider using Windows Defender.  I complete installation tomorrow after that updates Windows Update are downloaded while I'm resting.

  • Dell XPS One 2710 does not start - should I all reasonable options?

A few weeks ago, my 18 - month, Dell XPS One 2710 has started to act up.  Still not start correctly.

Ran the Dell diagnostics on their Web site.  Everything was fine - no detected hardware problem.

Yesterday, the computer completely stopped working.  It would be start, after a sweep of drive long, finally on the desktop, but can hang after 10 minutes.  I'm on Windows 8 (not 8.1).

Today, I thought I would do a system restore to a point a month ago.   But today I can not get a startup complete, impossible to get on the desktop.  Therefore, can't do a system restore.  Instead, I see this screen.

I have the options to continue?   I don't have a recovery disk.

You can install 8.1 on top of what you have by a 16 GB or more usb flash drive as a bootable recovery media.

If it does not recognize the key to your Bios, you can use a generic key for install but not activate.

All the pre installed 8.x are 64-bit so make sure you download the correct version.

  • Inspiron 13-5323 does not start after the new installed hard drive

Fall of my Inspiron and Geek Squad said she needed a new hard drive.  I installed a new identical to the former myself blue WD.  When activated, it immediately passes to "Phoenix Securecore Tiano Setup.  Pre-launch tests indicate that the new hard drive works fine.  I tried to start in safe mode UEFI and in the boot Legacy mode, but no boot.  I get a message "Not found operating system".  It is my understanding that this computer has an operating system embedded on the motherboard.  I previously had it improved Windows 8.1 to 10.  When I tried to boot mode safe mode using F8, I had the same operating system not found message.  The F2 and F4 keys on commissioning do nothing different, either.  Am I missing a step in the window settings of Phoenix?  Suggestions while in Phoenix window bringing me could happen to start the system would be appreciated.

In fact you have reloaded the operating system?  If not, the new drive is empty - it's why you see the message you see.

You will need all the recovery media, as you did when you received the system - or, if you do not prepare a set, you will need to call Dell to buy a flash drive with the media today.  The alternative is to download Windows 10 TH2, of the same version (standard, pro) that has been installed and activated previously.  You can then reload the operating system.

  • Acer Aspire One 522 does not start

I replaced the RAM of 1 GB in my 522 an Aspire. After that the netbook starts not more. Only the blue power led flashing and I hear the fan. I can only turn off by pressing the button for 5 seconds. The screen is black and I can't access the bios. Now the laptop no longer starts with the original module either. I'm looking for a way access the bios, but I found nothing for this model on the internet. Hope someone can help me. Thank you

Finally, I took a better look at the RAM module and the slot. Although I replaced the modules many times it seems that they were not properly placed in the slot. In any case, it works with my new 2 GB module.

  • L7780 all-in-one printer does not start make

The printer is stuck in an infinite loop of starting with the control panel not showing that the HP screen with the rolling radius, the power button light flashing and a paper feeding mechanism works and sometimes fax will beep every 30 seconds. The printer then repeates the sequence.

I tried to reset the options # + 3, # 6, # + 9 but the best response is the screen display language in the background selection masked by the message "power off, and then click" Control Panel.  Accepts power takes and the boot in the infinite loop sequence.

Connection to the laptop to try to diagnose or install a new firmware is failed course because the printer performs the computer starts arguing with her.

Have another short of options that may disconnect the on-board battery to clear no matter what memopr, however I do not see the battery.

Problem solved by removing the printer part to extract the circuit board and remove the battery for a few minutes.  Reinstall the battery and the circuit printed then restarted with # option + 6.  Control found on the printer.

I select a screen saver, set the time, apply and nothing.  This has happened before and corrected himself.  Maybe one setting in another program? It's on a laptop.

    Hello jerrylumpe

    1. If you use an old mouse, try to clean it.

    2. you can have a running process in the background that keeps XP thinking that he is busy and so the screen standby does not start.
Go to msconfig and uncheck everything you don't need, then see if the screensaver will kick in.

    Start/run and type
    Msconfig
    Ok

    Startup tab
Keep the page open then click on the link below. It will tell you what are all the entries and see if you can disable them or not

    http://www.SysInfo.org/STARTUPINFO.html

Read the key at the foot of the page, then click on "Here" at the top. Use the search box to check all your entries

    Try this too
    http://www.kellys-Korner-XP.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Line 51 left side. Click on "toggle".

It could be that something is resetting the timer. For example, it does take much vibration to move the mouse a little, and which will reset the timer to zero. Something like that would be possible? Or a pet that walks on the keyboard?

  • Envy20 d030 than all in One does not start

A week ago, after I downloaded Win 8.1, I received a notice about the HP updates.  I did the updates, but the next morning, the computer does not start and the ports or the CD player also would not work.  I tried F10 and F12 but got nothing.  I do not remember the specific message there was, but it would not move from the initial start-up phase.  I took it to a repair shop and they told me that the BIOS has been altered, as well as areas of the hard disk; the 4 MB of ram card was also burned (we had a lot of lightning, so I don't know if that had nothing to do with this and no more than technicians).  The MOBO extracted fine.  I replaced the hard drive and let the 2 MB of ram.  Everything seemed fine.

Yesterday, I tried to replace the features and specifications of the factory.  I was last updated drivers and rebooted the computer to complete the installation of the system, but the computer wouldn't even start.  HP turns on but it then immediately goes to an error message "no boot disk was detected or the drive failed.  F10 and F12 nothing else that the CD player and the USB ports seem to be ok.  I remember that the updates was a BIOS.  When you perform this update there was a message to be formatted a sector of the hard disk (sector F) but has no so I cancelled it.

I hope this is enough information for someone to help me.  My questions are; That's happened?  How can I solve this problem?  If I order a HP recovery package that will, as much as there is a new hard drive in the machine.

I'm very frustrated about that.  Not only by problems and my loss of use of my computer, but also costs I hired.  I have had many computers and I'm pretty tech savvy but nothing like this has ever happened to me before.

    Thank you

    Pat - D

    Hello again Pat-D,

The recovery disks will be won't on which hard drive you have installed. Your computer comes with a 1 to SATA HDD with a rotation speed of 7200 RPM. If you have another hard drive in there and recognize your computer, you should be good to go.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Inspiron 620-7750 Radeon with 450W power supply installed does not start

    Hello!

I have looked EVERYWHERE online and on the forum and have seen several posts on this topic and still not found a solution that works.  I have a Dell Inspiron 620

    • I5Intel Processor2nd Gen Core i5-2310 / 2.9 GHz
    • Memory8 GB / 8 GB (max)
    • Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit Edition operating mode
    • Optical DriveDVD±RW
    • Graphics technology ProcesseurIntel HD Graphics 2000 dynamic video memory 5.0
    • Integrated graphics controller

Recently, I buy a Powercolor Radeon 7750 graphics card I have installed the drivers, uninstalled the current Intel Graphics driver from Device Manager and then install the new card.  I of course unplugged the PSU got rid of and left in power has failed to myself and plugged into the PCI-E.  After I tired to turn on but it does not start.  Fans begin to turn, including on the graphics card, but nothing comes up on the monitor and it won't start.  When I unplugged the 7750 card it starts very well?

At first I thought that it was not powered ridiculously horrible 300w PSU they put so that I have upgraded to an a 450w.  Everything works with the new power supply installed without the card, but as soon as I plug the new map, he continues to not start as before installing the card.  I have searched and tried things for 2 days now and CAN NOT find a solution.  I know that the 620 does not access the menu of the BIOS under settings in advance who does not help (don't know why Dell would never think it was a good idea!) so I can't change anything in there.

Please, any help would be fantastic!

    Thanks in advance!

The card is a bad card.  There should be ZERO problems with the supply of the stock 305 w and a 7750.
