  Disable and re-enable all controllers Universal Serial Bus (USB) controllers.

  USB controllers represent the USB ports in Device Manager.

  To disable and re-enable the USB controllers, follow these steps:

  (a) open the Device Manager.

  (b) expand Bus USB controllers.

  (c) Note: you may scroll through the list to find this point.

  (d) the first USB controller under Bus USB controllersright click and then click on uninstall to remove it.

  (f) repeat the steps above for each controller USB is listed under Bus USB controllers.
