  I bought Photoshop CS5 last year a few months before my computer 'death inevitably' on me. The store of the local computer could not solve it so I bought a new PC desktop to them. Under the agreement, they have installed all my programs from my records and I used it successfully since.

  I now have new laptop that I want to use a holiday of photography. I can load CS5 on that too? I understand there are 2 licenses but one can always allocated to the PC "dead." How do I know if this is the case and get it transferred to my new laptop?

  I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Student Edition in 2011 and have used it since on my home PC. Now, I bought myself a new laptop, a Macbook Air to be precise.
  I thought installing CS5 even on the laptop. Came to adobe.com to download the programs but seems now I hit a wall.

  I can't download anything from the 'Download' link in the page 'My purchases' (translated to my language, I hope that you guys have the same name for the page) I get only this message in a blank page:

  I find it is seriously quite absurd...

  OK, so I had the idea they were installed from a disc I received in the mail from the CS5.1 (?) but the problem is that the mac does not have a hard drive! (Nonsense again, I know... This is my first laptop & my first apple product so I'm a little off...)

  If the download does not work, and is not the cd. What can I do? I was about to ask the service the customer on this subject, but it seems to me that this forum is my only hope...

  Since it is a forum of number, not many people here can see that you have a serial number.  Running older software on the latest machines is always questionable.  There are many applications, I sitting on discs (some 3.5 or 5 inch disks) in a box that won't do anymore of that for the rest of their lives.

  If the disk has a problem then you should try to download instead.

• Want to remove Elements 9 and install CS5 on my laptop

  I have CS5 installed on my desktop.  I want to remove the 9 Elements of my HP Pavilion dv8000z laptop and install CS5 on my laptop.  It has an AMD Turion 64 with a processor a 150 GB drive hard a a 120 GB.  The CS5 system requirements say that I need a processor Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon 64, I use this computer on trip and for workshops and not store large amount of files.  My question is will this handful of portable CS5 and if so, do I need you to remove 9 items and install CS5?
