Install lifecam HD6000 offline?

How can I install driver Lifecam HD6000 & software offline?

I want to just make some videos and store them on the hard drive.

The driver on the CD needs to connect to the internet, but I am not able to do.

Hello

You can download the driver for Win XP from here:

http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/LifeCam-HD-6000-for-notebooks/7PD-00001#support

Click the 'Support' tab, choose the operating system and your language - then click on download.

Hi I solved it, please read because it might help you too!

When I opened this thread I tried for 4 hours to solve this problem * and apparently a lot of people have problems with the installation procedure.

When I installed the program, I noticed at the beginning in a small window that shows progress, he showed a folder he had created and had a random name composed of letters and numbers such as: 56eb37a890142, go and find him!

In this case, it creates subfolders where the subfolder has the name «windowsinstaller»

    • Drive:\56eb37a890142\windowsinstaller\x86\windowsxp-KB942288-v3-x86.exe

(Your path may be different, but the mine was created on a different driver/partition that my Windows driver.)

During installation, I was going through all the steps (in fact I just leave the installation in the middle of the process, as it is, if I remember there are 3 steps, first unpacking, the other 2 steps is displayed in a new window, and I don't remember now I did the 2nd step, however, this is the 3rd step that fails but in this hack you do not go there)
... instead, once the 56eb37a890142 folder was created, I went in the subfolder and installed the

    • WindowsXP-kb942288-v3 - x 86 .exe

Once this file has been installed, Windows automatically forced the closure of programs and handed over in market, after reboot, I returned to the

random 56eb37a890142 of the folder and double-click the following file

    • Setup.exe

All of a sudden the installation went through, obviously something is wrong with the installation program, I think it not to apply the update of windowsxp-kb942288-v3 - x 86 .exe, or somehow fail to do.

One last thing on the randomness of the '56eb37a890142' folder, I have a low memory, if the installation failed, the folder would be removed, so we might have to make a copy of it.

    Edit: I checked the Windows Installer "windowsxp-kb942288-v3 - x 86 .exe '.

It's a "Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable", it can be downloaded separately from the link here below, we could try this instead of the procedure described above:

  • Error installing LifeCam VX-2000. Help?

Installed Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 on my computer emachines laptop and it worked fine the first night, he has used to perhaps five minutes and that's it. Home from work and he has been absent from my Start menu/desktop. Okay, so I installed it again.

    He has not worked since.
    I can't find any virus.
I used the software to remove the lifecam completely and all of the remaining files before restarting my computer and software to try again, but with no luck.

    I get this error:
"LifeCam.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

Sometimes followed by this error message:
"The application could not initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to close the application. »

It gives me troubleshooting information, but nothing seems to help. I didn't bother with the advanced material because I'm not 100% sure about what I do and don't want anything else.

  • OfficeJet J6480: Installed drivers, printer offline

I had this problem for ages with my OfficeJet J6480 since the last update of Solution Center 13.0, who since then has caused a lot of grief for printing and network scanning to questions about my mother Aspire 6530 which has Vista 32 bit on it. My machine which is a custom built Asus P5N - D with Windows XP 32 Bit on it works perfectly with the wireless printer and has no problem with scanning for features.

I reinstalled and rubbed the drivers many times, more a reformat. When the installation takes place the printer works perfectly, then later the printer is unable to come online with my mother Vista machine wireless.

The only question I can find is that, in the control panel under printers Vista is that the J6480 is considered as offline, and to get the printer online, I have to right-click on the printer and select "use printer online". This resolves the issue until the computer gets shutdown. I don't know what to do and it's really disturb my mother.

    (1) of the D - Link DIR-655 WIRELESS SETTINGS-> configuration of wireless network at hand:

    (a) set the Mode 802.11 Mixed 802.11n, 802.11 g and 802. 11B for optimum compatibility.  If you are positive that there is no 802. 11b devices in the area, you can use mixed 802.11n and 802.11 g.

    (b) disable Auto Channel Scan and select channel 1, 6 or 11.  To find the best channel, download our Network Diagnostic Utility (located here) on a laptop connected to your DIR-655 wirelessrun and select Show advanced tools, and then select Show networks wireless detected.  Try to choose a channel which is at least 5 channels away from your more powerful neighbour.

c fix the width of the channel at 20 MHz and the visibility of Visible State.  This gives you better compatibility.  While 20 MHz setting to slow down your network a bit, unless you do not have nearby wireless networks, these networks interference prevents the use of two bonded channels (for 40 MHz) in the band of 2.4 GHz Wi - Fi.

    (2) on the computer, uninstall the HP Customer Participation Program (if it has been installed).

  • Problem installing LifeCam VX-5500

When you install the VX-5500 with the CD to accompany him (a driver is 2.07), the installation does not complete and must be stopped manually.  I use Windows XP Professional SP2.  Any suggestions?  I had the same problem with my wife's computer and improved its system to SP3 and it seemed to work fine.  Because my laptop is maintained by my company, I can't upgrade to SP3 and need to stay with SP2.  Any suggestions?
