Install Windows 10 in Windows 8 system

Original title: reinstall

To the right,.

My Windows 10 has crashed, without success to repair. Finally, I wiped the hard drive and started to reinstall windows xp, because the Activation Code I have with xp does not work with 10.

I bought an upgrade of windows 8 for xp, but this time, he worked with xp code. Now, I don't want to reinstall xp, then windows 8, then 10. Is there a solution to my problem?

Kind regards

Akos

    Hello

I got a brand new HP m9770 desktop PC and I installed Windows 7 from scratch on C:\ partition. Unfortunately, I want to go back to Vista, but I can't do a system restore. There is always a partition that contains the files in recovery E:\ but pressing F11 at boot beginning I can't chose the system recovery. Is there a way to force the PC to start in this partition without to order recovery DVD?

  • Qosmio F30-140: cannot install Windows operating system-> no. HDD

I bought the Qosmio F30-140 and I can't install Windows XP from my original cd: / recovery cd works fine but it installs a bunch of stuff I didn't need if I want a clean install...

so when I run my winXP cd Setup program I get the error message: "Setup did not find any hard drives installed in your computer..."

Although I can run windows normally which is installed from the CD of restoration... I think it's something with the hard disk drivers.

How can I overcome this? Thanks in advance :)

    Hello Sarunas

There s nothing wrong! Nothing with HARD drive or other hardware!
You have just installed the RAID driver
The Toshiba Recovery CD contains the RAID driver and so you can install it without any problem.
But the Windows CD contains no such driver and therefore the RAID driver must be installed at the beginning of the configuration of Windows installation procedure.

Windows will ask you 3 RAID driver. The RAID driver, you can find on the page of the Toshiba driver. Download it on the floppy drive and connect the external USB FDD drive.
From there, you will be able to install the RAID driver.

    Good luck..

  • How can I make a set of my pre-installed Windows XP system recovery disks?

How can I make a set of recovery discs from my Windows XP pre-installed system supplied with the machine? It works ok (so not the repair feature). It there is just so much junk from test facilities in the background that I want to do a complete wipe-out and re - install, but I don't have any original Windows XP disks.

The process to create recovery disks is different according to the model of the computer.

Check your manual for instructions or see website of support from the manufacturer for instructions.

  • Cannot install windows via bootcamp (Imac Mid 2011)

Hi, I struggled for the last 2 days and can't seem to find how to create a windows partition and installed it.

Note: I have a 27 inch mid 2011 Imac and run MacOS Sierra 10.12.

I have problems with bootcamp especially at the stage of the process USB drive.

    1. I do not understand why Bootcamp assistant 2 display only tasks being #1 download the windows software and #2 install windows 10 when all apple support pages show 3 different tasks available as here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205016http ://

    2. I prefer to install windows 7 on my partition, bootcamp, however 'install windows 10', which means that I can't install an older version on my partition? I tried to install windows 7 via a win7 .iso file AND a win10 .iso but none of them works.

    3. whenever I try to install windows, the system do not recognize my USB (it would be with .iso win10 associated drivers or Win7 .iso. + drivers associated) and constantly asking for a disc to be inserted.

My USB has been formatted through disk as MS-DOS (FAT32) volume and all utility used .iso comes from Microsoft. I don't understand why I can't have my. ISO recognized by the system.

    Help please :)

This is normal and expected behavior. Your 2011 Mac does not support the USB Windows installation. You must use a physical DVD burned ISO. Your Mac does not officially support Windows 10. The ISO files are available at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home .

Documentation on Apple's site shows not all models. Please visit https://help.apple.com/bootcamp/mac/5.0/help/ for an older version (FC5).

Eeeh Hey! Thank you all for the reply.
I found the solution and I learned a lot. Now for what will be after my post can refer to the steps below.
If you have a new laptop & you have never installed windows & your system is running with freedos you will 1st have make your hard drive to NTFS.
    1. Select custom installation.
    2. press SHIFT + F10 (DOS windows will appear).
    Now type
    3 part disc [press Enter]
4 list disk [press Enter] (you should see only disk 0).
5 salt disk 0 [press on enter]
    6. clean [press on enter]
Close the back windows and click Refresh.
Now, you can create partitions and install windows.
I hope this helps. Good luck...

  • What is Windows Defender system and from where it comes.

Today at about 06:00 this program showed on my desktop from anywhere. He tells me I have 21 different Trojans, viruses, worms and other problems. I have a software that follows all this and he said NO problem on my computer.
When I click on the little window that says delete told me I have to pay to get this deleted _ anywhere from $49.99 to 89.99.
It is popping up every few minutes. All attempts to remove Windows Defender failed. Have no idea where it came from, or why he was charged. I refuse it .exe when he came on the console.

System Windows Defender is a fake anti-spyware that uses fake malware files and fake scan detections to fool you into thinking you are infected. Once installed, Windows Defender system will be configured to start automatically when Windows starts. The installer will also create many files on your computer that will then be detected as malware when the program will scan your computer. If you try to remove these supposed infections with Windows Defender system, however, it will state that you must first purchase the program until he does. This tactic of creating fake malware files which will then be detected by the rogue program is a common one used by thieves to trick into thinking you are infected.

    Thanks for no help guyz!

but I found a way... so for anyone else out there... Here is the solution...

    1. When installing to the partition screen, press SHIFT + F10.
    2. At the prompt, type diskpart and press ENTER.
    3. Type list disk (not the number of the disk to be used)
    4. Type select disk X, where X is the number of the disk to use.
    5. Clean type. This erases all data on your system.
    6. Type convert gpt
    7. Now reboot the system with the DVD/USB, and you will see only the unallocated space. Use to install the new windows.

Be warned however, this clears the partition table on the disk; Make sure that you have a backup before attempting this, if you have important data

  • Install Windows on SMU-8133 (with time real operating system already installed)

    Hi all

I have an SMU-8133 NI with a real-time operating system (OR Real - Time PharLap 13.1). Now I want to install Windows on it and make it dual-boot (I want to keep the original real time operating system). So my question is how do I install Windows without erasing the current real time operating system?

I tried to just install Win7 (starting from USB) but it says "Windows cannot be installed on disk 0 Partition 1" because she needs NTFS (what we have is the FAT I think). If Win7 is unavailable, Windows XP is also correct, but I still prefer Win7.

    Thank you!

As a general rule, Windows don't play well with other operating systems installed on a drive, there will be some efforts to preserve the existing installation of RT OS if it is a requirement.  The simplest approach would be to wipe the entire disk, installing Windows and then reinstall LabVIEW RT.

If you can start from scratch, you must first make sure that the partitioning is correct.  Since you did not purchase this as a Windows / controller dual boot RT initially, you do not have Windows installation media OR, correctly configure the partitions from disk for you.  You will need to do this manually during the installation of Windows.  The best approach is to create two partitions, one for the RT and a Windows.  RT the partition must be the first partition on the disk.  Install Windows on the second partition.  Once Windows is installed, convert the 1st partition to FAT32 using the built in Windows or a 3rd party partitioning tool utilities.  You should now have a system with Windows installed correctly and ready to be fitted to RT.

Change your SMU-8133 to boot RT using the BIOS Setup menu or hardware DIP switch.  It should boot to safemode RT.  From another host PC, find your target in MAX.

You can now put your target if you want to switch to the FAT32 file system the system of dependency files.  You can do this through MAX, or by using the utility RT USB key.  See herefor details on this step.

Warning: Before doing this, ensure a MAXIMUM target shows already the correct amount of disk space for partition 1, you created.  If the RT operating system can see a usable partition (FAT32 or dependency) it will set up only that partition by avoiding to touch the rest of the disc.  If the 1st partition is not used, the formatting process will claim rather all of the disk because no usable partition has been found, and you may lose your Windows installation.

After that, you can perform the installation of the RT of MAX software as usual.

If you try to preserve your existing installation, you can try to combine the above process with one of the options available for the creation and restoration of RT disk images, although I am not very familiar with these tools and can not comment or creating an image on a single disk partition and restaurant then a disc multi-partition will be successful.  Here is a good linkto start with which describes the options available.

  • How should I / can I install Windows 8 policies on a Windows Server 2008 system.

    Hello

I am currently working on a customer's server that is running Windows Server 2008 R2. They are trying to upgrade their machines to Windows 8.

The problem they have is that they don't want all the extra tiles on metro screen, so I exported a model of how they want it to look. The problem I have at the minute is to install Group Policy settings 8 windows on their server, so that I can put the filter pattern of departure for all machines in the domain.

How to properly install Windows 8 strategies on the system? I downloaded them as files admx on the MS site ready to go, but it is not as simple as I thought.
