Install Windows 8 on several identical computers

I help charity update of multiple (identical) PCs.that, they use for training. They will have 8.1 of Windows and MS Office 2013 on them.

I was wondering if I created such as they want, can I clone the drive and copy this picture to others. I don't have to update the product keys from the recipient computers as they use Microsoft Volume licensing and the keys are the same and recipient machines all are hardware identical.

Can anyone offer me any advice

What type of disc do I need to buy... Do I have to buy 16 disks in Windows 7... or is there a simpler solution?

OK, I'll look into the full retail version. That means, correct me if I'm wrong, what with the commercial full version Windows, I can install it on all built I want, as many times I want, it just cannot be installed on multiple computers that is active.

    No, incorrect.

    Full version (retail):

-a computer can only be reinstalled many times on the same computer.

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

  • Is it possible to install Windows 7 on Satellite Pro 6100

Is it possible to install windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite pro 6100 computer? I am currently using windows XP.

    Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

Do you really think on installing Windows 7 over several years old Satellite Pro 6100?

In my opinion, it won't work because it is too old and not fast enough. Newer operating system that is supported by Toshiba is Windows XP and this should be the best choice for good old classic.

So just to be satisfied with Windows XP, it's a good choice for older computers! :)

  • Qosmio G20 Vista drivers? No need to install Windows Vista

    Hello
I'm new to this forum. My name is Francisco and I live in the Brazil. I have a Toshiba Qosmio g20_105 and it is running Windows Vista Ultimate EN RTM 6000 without problems.
To do this, you must perform a clean installation of Windows Vista. The drivers for network (Intel PRO100), audio (Soundmax), TV (Toshiba PCI Tuner), modem (modem of toshiba), Alps pointing device are installed directly from microsoft. You must install the Toshiba, Toshiba Bluetooth nvidia display driver (monitor and stack), driver Toshiba flash media, toshiba RAID texas (drivers and utilities), toshiba remote control manager and ConfigFree for Windows Vista.
You must have the Toshiba RAID drivers to install from the windows Vista DVD. Otherway, Windows does not recognize Toshiba RAID 0 and RAID 1.

Below some pictures of my desktop of the G20 screen:

    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/myqosmiog20screen2.jpg
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/myqosmiog20screen3.jpg

And here is an example of the use of backgrounds animated with Windows Vista, deskscapes called dreamscene.
    It is in pause mode
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/myqosmiog20screen4.jpg

To perform a new installation of windows Vista:

Please, download drivers Toshiba RAID here:
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/drivers/RAID.rar

1 copy the contents of this archive on a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive.
    2. Insert your Microsoft Windows Vista Edition Bootable DVD.
    3. turn on your computer and press F12 to display the start menu.
    4. Select the option to boot from the CD/DVD drive.
    5. on the first Setup screen, choose your language options, and then press "next".
    6. press on "install now".
7 type your product key and then press "next".
    8. accept the license terms by checking the box, then press "next".
    9. when he asked "which type of installation that you want", press "Custom (advanced)".
    10. when it is asked "Where do you want to install Windows?", make sure that your media containing the Toshiba RAID drivers is connected to the computer, and then click on "Load driver".
    11. navigate to the location you copied the RAID drivers then press 'OK '.
    12. the installation program will return to the previous screen, but it will show that you have selected the TOSHIBA RAID driver.
13 make sure that the TOSHIBA RAID driver is selected, and then press "next".
    14. continue the installation of Windows Vista as usual.

Now, you will need drivers Toshiba for your Qosmio G20:
See the information of Device Manager:
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/qosmiodrivers1.jpg

    Drivers:
    1. SD memory controller

    2 battery and Bluetooth monitor
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/drivers/bluetooth_mon.rar
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/drivers/bluetooth_stack.rar

3 display Nvidia GeForce Go 6600 driver
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/drivers/nvidia97.52.rar

    4 Texas FlashMedia controller
    http://www.rabayjr.com/Vista/drivers/flasmedia.rar

    And finally the Toshiba Utilities:
    Toshiba Configfree
    Toshiba Assist
    RAID utilities
    Remote Control Manager
    Toshiba SD Memory utilities

    That's all...

So, I say to you that Toshiba Qosmio G20 is Windows Vista Ultimate capable, indeed.

Hope this helps the people who need and want to install Windows Vista Aero on their computers Qosmio G20.

    Hello

    1. dual Boot or new installation?

    2. you don't say what kind of Vista disk you use to install.

3 have you checked on the HP website to see if these Comptuer models have Vista drivers available for their hardware?

If there is no Vista drivers, you're wasting your time.

Equip your computer model number, operating system for this information and see if there are troubleshooting steps for it.

  • I would like to re - install Windows 7 Pro; Where can I find an ISO to do this?

    Hello

I bought 3 computers on a sale at auction and I do not have passwords enemy inwdows. I would like to re - install Windows 7 Pro on those computers and I don't have the product keys.

Where can I find an ISO to do this?

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • To install the server does not, after a Preparig to install the window hung for several minutes

Hi, I tried to install memeo backup of a product for a moment, I recentley purchased. I know that the software and the product is not damaged, because I am able to install it on other computers. Its my fault see tho, I have the seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1 TB external hard drive, and I had planned to use it on several computers. sort of, I installed it on my computer windows 7 without probs., but when I was installing on my windows vista computer, I accidentally unplugged the drive when installing memeo instant upward.  Needless to say, I knew this would be a problem. Windows popped up saying that the dashboard Seagate (which is the program that installs Memeo instant backup) have not installed properly, so I clicked on reinstall this program with the recommended settings, and I handed the drive and started the installation again. When I did, the registration page (for the unit I was using) pops up and froze, so I closed its process, then Setup of the Board of Directors of Seagate Dash appeared and I started to install, and when he rose to installation of the snapshot of Memeo back, it opens a "Preparing to install" window of a windows installer and after about 10-15 minutes , another windows installer window comes up saying ' to install the server does not.

    Ive done my time just trying to solve this problem and believe he made an incomplete registry file, it whenever it tries to install it tries to use the incomplete record. If one has found a solution to this, or knows what that means of ' installation server does not ", it would be very appreciated for your advice.    If you want to know my characteristics. they are {windows vista 32-bit home Basic, sp 2, 3 GB of ram, 2.10 ghz processor}

  • What is the best way to install windows 7 on 3 computers at home, all Macs with no previous version installed?

I intend to divide my drive hard while I have both a mac and pc side to get the best of both worlds, but I'm not sure what product would be best suited. As I said previously is for 3 computers that don't have currently no version of windows on them, so I guess the family upgrade would be of no use and I'm not sure whether a House package might be installed on all 3?

The most cost-effective option in your case is to buy copies of Windows 7 Home Premium System Builder. You will always have to spend money, but against the full package of Windows 7 Home Premium retail, its more profitable:

How many computers is covered by a professional software for windows 7? We need at least 2 computers, 2 of our 4 already have.

the key that can be used with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 is designed to drive 1. You cannot use install both. 1 license, 1 installation, so choose wisely. If you want to install Windows 7 32 bit on another partition or another computer, you must purchase an additional license for each computer.

I want to get windows 7 and have 3 computers I can put it on all three or an i will have to pay over a grand.

You must purchase a license for each computer. If they have a system called Windows installed, you can buy the upgrade for a lower price. If you want to purchase the full version of Ultimate then Yes, it would be about $1,000 for all three computers.
