• Installation of the addon requires escalation of privileges

  When I tried to install an add on for Photoshop CC 2015.5 on the Adobe add ons site in that I got an error the application Adobe CC who add it to cannot install because it requires escalation of privileges.  I am running Windows Pro 64 bit build 10, 1607 and I don't have the administrator privileges.   Since u removed directories using the "rm" command, it removes only the installed files. There are some entries will be in/etc/oracle, / etc/inittab and some symlinks in /etc/rc.d (1,2,3,4,5,6) files. You must manually but carefully remove these entries, then force kill any crs, jar css process and reboot the machine. so no crs, css he's start at the start of the process.   After the upgrade to Server 5.2 today, I am unable to start the service of Xcode as a result of a mistake.

I just checked, but as the best I could with the information that you provide and it seems that your computer was shipped with 10.6.3 and this is the same version as the retail drives.  Yet, I wonder if there is a specific build characteristic which is absent in the commercial version.  Contact Apple support to get a replacement original disk.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro R830 x 64 with Windows 7.

  Recently, I downloaded new Bluetooth drivers from the Toshiba website support for this laptop and tried to install.
  The Bluetooth software is installed but the driver (RFBUS) installation fails with the message "Bluetooth RFBUS driver was not installed successfully".

  I don't understand how the Toshiba Setup program cannot recognize Toshiba hardware.
  As a user deaf that I used successfully the function of Bluetooth with my hearing aids to make Skype calls, now whole Bluetooth function is completely non-functional because of failure battery BT driver install.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall several times but still get the same message

  Help, what do I do to fix this?

  I'm not quite sure of this model laptop but most of the portable m press a combo of WLan/BT card. This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

  In this case its need to install an additional driver like BT filter driver package, but this depends on the module that is installed in the unit.

  However, I m wondering why try you to install/upgrade to update this BT stack if it worked correctly in the past

  Thanks PCalaminci. I got exactly the same error and same configuration (Win10 x 64 with bitlocker active). The solution is as PCalaminci suggests: temporarily disable the driver signature digital verfifaction (looks like HP delivered a driver with a valid Publisher unknown/no signature that is the cause of the installation of the bomb).

  Note: To temporarily disable checking of driver (on Windows 10) signing it is easier...

  1. In Windows, go to PC settings (you can search for it in the start menu).
  2. Click on 'update & recovery' on the left side.
  3. Click on "Recovery" on the left side.
  4. Click "Restart now" button under Advanced Boot.
  5. Select Troubleshooting-> advanced-> startup parameters and press Restart
  6. Press the number corresponding to the entry 7 "disable driver signature enforcement".
  7. Install the drivers. After your system restarts again once you won't able to install any unsigned drivers until you repeat steps 1-6.

  Above works even if you have your hard drive encrypted with bitlocker (you need not type in your recovery key).

  I'm running a new Satellite A300, Vista Home Premium.
  I wasn't able to run PC-diagnose and volume button wasn't working so I uninstalled the existing extra value package, rebooted the system and tried to reinstall the latest version.

  The installation failed. I tried about four times with three newly uploaded files.

  Is there anything I can do to get the installation to complete?

  In many cases these issues is NOT related to the applications that you are trying to install, but the Windows operating system. especially he confused s upwards and therefore this installation fails.

  In your case, I recommend you to clean the operating system using the CCleaner and if necessary to reinstall the operating system in order to solve this problem.

  I need help. The flash on my phone card tool was out of use. I downloaded the value added package in the 1.3.5 version and tried to install. Installation fail after having extracted the Exe file compressed with the error "Setup PVAT error. [0x8146045B] ". I thougt the error may occure while I not remove the installed software before. So I uninstall the value-added package. After reboot and without installation of value added new package the same error.

  How can I install value added package again?

  I had a similar problem with the package of added value, so I also removed the previous version first. But after the reboot, I used the freeware CCleaner tool to clean the registry and delete the old keys of VAP. So just download CCleaner and run it, after this restart again and try to install VAP.
