  • HP 15-ab150sa (ENERGY STAR): CoolSense

    Hello...

HP happy user here... I had to reinstall Windows on my computer and all the drivers installed fine, but have error when installing CoolSense. Nothing major, but it is kinda nice to have it in my system.

Exact error, I have said that Net Framework (some version) must be installed for installation to continue. Then it asks me if I want to download it? So I click on Yes and then get the error from the installer indicating the most recent version is already installed you don't need to install this version.

So my question is how can I solve this problem? CoolSense requires Net Framework but apparently I have a later version in my system so what do I do?

Thanks in advance for your comments...

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  In the new page layout, select programs and features.

Click Windows turn on or off features in the left pane.

When the window is loaded, enter a check mark against .NET Framework 3.5 (included .NET 2.0 and 3.0) then click Ok and follow the procedure to install it.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

Let windows take over completely for a few minutes, and then try to re-run the installer to CoolSense.

  • Pavilion laptop - 15-ab262nr: HP 3D DriveGuard and Coolsense software does not install

Reinstalled Windows 10 on this PC laptop shortly after purchase (clean install to remove all the bloating) and

Software HP Coolsense and DriveGuard will not install. After having downloaded DriveGuard and try to run the installer, nothing happens, so I go to the list of programs and see here but it is grayed out. Tried the latest version 6.0.28.1 Rev.A. When you try to install Coolsense I get an error message that the software of .net framework must be installed, but it is already part of Windows 10.

Anything can happen on the ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hello

CoolSense requires .NET Framework 3.5, which can be present on a new installation of Windows 10 - you can check it as follows.

Hold down the Windows key and press R.

In the run box, type appwiz.cpl , and then press ENTER.

In the left pane, select "Windows turn features on or off" and let the list populate.

If .NET Framework 3.5 (included .NET 2.0 and 3.0) is not selected, add a check mark, and then click Ok.

Once installation is complete, restart the computer, let Windows take over completely for a few minutes, and then try to re-run the installer to CoolSense.

As far as HP 3D DriveGuard is concerned, you could try the following.

Hold down the Windows key and press R.

In the run box, type appwiz.cpl , and then press ENTER.

Make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and choose uninstall.

Once complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver below.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72862.exe

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp67001-67500/sp67280.exe

Yet, once it finished, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

I read your post on the Forums of HP Support. I wanted to join you and help! I understand you're wondering if you can revert to a previous version of the HP Support Assistant.

I don't think there is a way to revert to a previous version without doing a system restore.

However, here is a document for the HP Coolsense. 'S called it the HP CoolSense technology. At the bottom of the document it is stated:

"HP CoolSense 1.0 (HP thermal Assistant) has been designed to work as part of previous versions of HP Support Assistant." After upgrading to later versions of HP Support Assistant, HP CoolSense 1.0 may stop working. To resolve this issue, follow the steps described in the section Installation HP CoolSense version 2.2 of this document. »

  • HP coolsense crashes my computer

Lately when I opened my hp coolsense just fine, but when I press settings or shut the computer just... breaks down. A blue screen appears and begins the dumping of physical memory in the hard drive or something. I tried to fix it by reinstalling the coolsense hp without modification.

Any ideas what it could be? I registered just to make this question because I can't find anything similar to this.

In addition, the crash itself is very inaccurate since it just says there is an error and windows closed to protect my computer, does not say what exactly is the error.

  • Laptop HP dm1 NEW OS installation issues

I just bought a laptop HP Pavilion dm1-4003au with a copy of Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit installed. I have the standard partitions - C (System) which is GB 278, restore partition, sharing tools HP and a D drive no name that I can not access and gives me to understand is some sort of failsafe win7.

I want to format all and install Windows 7 64-bit professional of a DVD that I own.

After that, I want to get most of the useful software of HP and drivers currently installed backwards.

Now my question is this :

Are ALL available on the HP support page of said software/drivers? I mean everyone including Beats audio software, Coolsense, QuickWeb, drivers webcam, bluetooth and wireless drivers to name a few? If not, where can I get them from?

I want to put all of these installers on sure DVD or disk external DRIVE for future use.

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this question but I didn't see a specific forum for sub HP drivers so it seemed close enough.

    Thank you

Note: I know I can create restore disks, which is what most people do, but I have really no interest in sticking to the basic home edition since I own not professional.

    Hello:

Not all the software that came with your PC is on the support page for your laptop.

Check your C:\ drive for a folder called SWSetup. Click on that and that there should be several subfolders marked spXXXXX where XXXXX is the file number for the driver or the software installation files.

I don't know any other way than to click on each folder and see what live programs/drivers folder.

What I would do, is copy the whole folder SWSetup on a DVD or portable storage drive.

Then you can reinstall the software you have found in these files.

  • G7 2233 pilots missing after windows 7 ultimate 64-bit new installation

Hi - I received the computer modeled above with 8 pre-installed windows. I installed a clean install (wiped readers) and installed the operating system Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. When I did, none of the internet connections would even work. I since found (somehow) a pilot who was consistent, which deals with the missing wifi adapter, but I still need the following items:

    Ethernet controller: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_184B103C & REV_05

    PCI device: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_5229 & SUBSYS_184B103C & REV_01

    UNKNOWN DEVICE: ACPI\HPQ004

I can't find these anywhere, PLEASE help.

When you request support, please provide the HP model name and/or product the full number of the computer in question.

    Assuming that you have a HP Pavilion laptop g7-2233 cl, specifications, other than the CPU, the RAM and the size of the screen, seem to be the same as my sister-brother g6-2210us laptop HP Pavilion computer. Drivers 64-bit of Windows 8 listed for two computers are the same. I installed Windows 7 64 bit on his computer about a month ago and used the following drivers of multiple origins;

Drivers for Chipset AMD (Chipset, USB 3.0, SATA/RAID)

    AMD Catalyst Display Driver

    Realtek FE family LAN Driver

HP sp54972 Atheros 5xxx/9xxx WLAN Driver

HP IDT HD Audio Driver sp59620

HP sp58539 touchpad driver Synaptics PS2

    HP CoolSense sp60051

and from Windows Update "HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor.

It is possible that the WLAN chipset on your machine is different and may require different drivers.

I've also updated updated the Synaptics driver to v16.2.21 on Synaptics site. Some of the factors above may require the HP sp59202 software framework. In addition, the WebCam requires the package of "VideoCM" of the "SWsetup" folder in the original installation of Windows 8 and CyberLink YouCam sp59986.

When you are finished, there is no unknown device on its system.

    Please send Bravo

  • HP Coolsense go/do not reinstall

    HP Pavilion dv6 6182nr laptop

    Windows 7 64 bit

I have authorized HP Support Assistant install updates and it deleted the computer Coolsense.  Then I tried to reinstall coolsense and received the error message on the photo below.  Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hey OhYouCoward,

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the HP software framework entry and select uninstall.  Once this done, also check if there is an entry for HP CoolSense and if there are, uninstall the present as well.

    Once completed, restart the laptop.

Tap here to f10 as soon as you start Notepad to open the menu of the Bios.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has completely recharged, download and install the latest version of the HP Software Framework on the following link.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&softwareitem=ob-91931-1

When the installation is complete, restart the computer again.

Then, download and install the CoolSense application at the link below.

    HP CoolSense v2.0

Once the installation is complete, check if CoolSense now works properly.
