Whenever I try to install Rosetta Stone "Of the program Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error abnormal termination" is displayed. I tried Microsoft fix the thing but it does not work. Someone please help. I get the message when I download the program on the website of the Rosetta Stone. I can install it with the cd but when I run the program it does not come to the top and the compatibility mode will not work. The program is compatible with windows 7, but my computer says it is not.

Contact the xxxxxxxxx support for assistance on this issue.

This type of error can be caused if the Visual C++ library runtime components are missing or because of a third-party software.

    Follow the steps below:

    Method 1:
If the problem is caused by the lack of Visual C++ libraries, you can download and install the Runtime components of Visual C++ libraries from the link below:

This error can occur when the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

Try it out below step to reinstall and repair installation of Microsoft .NET Framework on the computer, then check if you can install the software.

    (c) after the reboot, open again "Turn Windows features on or off" and place a check next to Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1 and restart the computer.

    Step 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you manually download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable Package and check to see if you can install the software.

  • OneDrive of browsing for the file of the company is blocking explorer.exe with visual c ++ runtime error

I posted this in the OneDrive for business forums and was told to come here because they were not able to climb it - a few other people responded saying that they had exactly the same problem.  I copy + paste the original message here.

OK, now let me preface this by saying: I was fix this for the better part of a week and I am puzzled.

I work in the it Department for business (~ 200 employees) medium, we have recently migrated our the server local exchange to Exchange Online (we are now using a mixture of licenses Office 365 E1 and E3) and we have since then all members of society with their synchronizations of OneDrive.

About 200 people, that we have put in place, there is a person who has this problem - when he opens the file Explorer and looks in his folder OneDrive @ company, less than a minute, it will get a Visual C ++ runtime error and explore crashes / restarts and is able to work again.  Of course, within a minute, the same thing happens. It is under windows 7 x 64.

This particular user has a mixture of files .dwg-AutoCAD, PDF, word/excel files and jpg files on his onedrive for a total amount of approximately 7 GB.  It uses the preview in the Explorer pane, and I saw a similar problem during its use in the past, so I applied the patch and it did not help.  If I disconnect his onedrive and move his files back in its documents folder, it can browse its files without any problems whatsoever (including using the preview pane).

want to hear the best part?  I set him up on a laptop quite different from ZERO and it does EXACTLY the same thing!  No one else in the company is having this problem, and almost every other laptop that we deployed using the same exact configuration.  I'm starting to think, it could be a problem with his records, but I'm not sure - go to synchronize its reader to my computer to see, even if I'm on windows 8.1.

Everyone knows about this type of problem?

Also, I already tried to delete the cache of records office and completely reinstalled onedrive on the original computer.

This is clearly a problem inherent in the OneDrive itself.  Let me know if any kind of logs are needed.

I could never get anyone to help me here so I ended up spending the user assigned to windows 8.1 and it helped.  Sometimes it happens again but windows 8 is much better at handling explore crashes, so it's just a quick blip and he is back at work.

    Good luck.

Which operating system do you use first 11 elements? For now, I'll assume Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

    Hello

    ·         Did you the latest changes on the computer?

We must first identify to identify the program that is causing startup problems.

    Step 1:

Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode.

If the problem does not persist in safe mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    Step 2:

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Gareth

    Hello Gareth,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Windows forum.

Let us know what happened after running a virus scan.

This type of error is usually related to damaged C++ components installed.

Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime

Search for and then remove the existing installation of Visual C++. To do this, follow these steps:

    In Windows 7

    1. in Control Panel, open programs and features. To do this, click Start, type appwiz.cpl in the start search box and press ENTER.

    2. Locate the Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs.

    3. click on Microsoft Visual C++ and then click on uninstall

Note If you do not have Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs, go to step 2

Follow the steps to remove the software.

Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime. To do this, follow these steps:
Visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx

In the search next to all the Downloads box, type Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, and then click OK.

In the search results, click the Package redistributable Visual C++ for your operating system.

Note The x 86 version of the package is for the 32-bit version of Windows. The X 64 version of the package is for 64-bit Windows version.

On the page that opens, click Download, and then save the file to your desktop.

When the download is complete, double-click the executable file.

Follow the instructions that are displayed. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

If the problem persists, try method 1 clean boot and check.

Put your computer in a clean boot state, and control.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

Note When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

To put your computer in a clean boot state, follow these steps:

    Perform the clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.
    2. click on the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
