don't. / file thunderbird will run

It turns out that the download of the Mozilla - Thunderbird site is strictly for 32 bit. Someone was kind enough to give me the 64-bit x86_64 version. Thank you

    Hello

With the Oracle user, I try to install Oracle 9i.

    ERROR:

    All the ideas!

    You run 32-bit linux.
uname-m will show architecture, 64-bit, there will be x86_64.
    You can run
    [oracle @... lib] file $ / usr/bin/leader
/ usr/bin/file: ELF 32-bit LSB executable - this will show as well it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

  • Installation on Red Hat Linux 7.2 vmware tools

I am in Workstation 8 and I'm having some trouble to the VMware tools to install.

This problem occurs when you run vmware-config - tools.pl. He can not find the GCC binary. I provide the path/usr/bin, but it returns an error saying that is is not a valid path.

A similar problem occurs with the path to the kernel header. I suppied the /lib/modules/2.4.7-10 path, but I received an error message indicating that this was not the right path.

My skills with linux are newbient so I might very well do something ignorant.

Yes, I expected, joking just :-)

Would be very difficult to spell for the average, like mine, Urs.

For LAMP to come, I'll also choose CentOS.

I love Ubuntu for his extremely quick start and a minimum load. The server for the VMS operating system is very low.

  • Link new installation of thunderbird with the old profile.

I created a new profile and stored on an external drive, there is a certain messages, I just had to reinstall win7 and do not know how to link a new installation of thunderbird with my old profile. Seems fair to get a host of issues that do nothing.

Look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile and then go to the directory corresponding to your external drive to find your old * *.default file.
Copy your old profile to the directory where your current profile is stored.
See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles to switch to your old GOLD "profiles.ini" edit profile to change the 'path' in the name of your old profile.
    Restart Thunderbird.

  • I am running openSUSE 11.3 on my desk. A message says I have to update to Firefox. I clicked on upgrade and have downloaded a file named "firefox - 6.0.2.tar.bz2.

I can't find instructions on how to manually update Firefox, and it will not be upgraded automatically. What is my next step? Can I get help?

You currently have the version of Firefox which is the hallmark of SUSE, and version should be updated via this facility deposits.

You can copy the content of archive tar.bz2 to another folder and create a new launcher to launch the firefox script in this folder to run this version of Firefox with this profile by adding Pei 'profile_name' in the command field.

You must create a new profile if you want to continue to use the version of Firefox 3.6.x

  • Multiple profiles can be addressed by running multiple installations of Thunderbird; rather than put several profiles on a plant?

Please don't laugh, but I'm running three quite separate mail programs Eudora on a PC; each one with a different email address. I have three icons, and emails are completely separate. I'm just trying to determine if I can do the same with Thunderbird. I know that you can configure multiple messages in a single installation, and then switch back within this facility. But I'm trying to see if I can keep doing what I'm doing now. I know that I have to open a new Eudora program for each email address, but I'm OK with that. Any thoughts?

Eudora becomes old and unstable, so I would go if I can.

    Thank you very much.

Although I don't really no why you must run multiple instances of tuberculosis, especially since the TB program folder and the profiles folder are separated, to do so are described here:

I copied the files abook.mab and history.mab from the old hard drive with no problems and they are functional.

But my other address file is a different story.

I read there are utilities that can convert this file into an LDIF file that can then be imported into TB, but I can't find a usable version of these utilities.

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

  • Installation of Thunderbird does not recognize my password administrator or current user

I could on my last new install of thunderbird to find instructions on how to recreate the start screen "choose profile" instead of having all the mailboxes are displayed on a screen. Is it still possible?

    Use Profile Manager.

Select the name of the profile
Make sure that you uncheck the "don't ask at startup".

I don't see Installing a browser 2011 in a 2007 operating system. I replaced Xandros with Easy Peasy 1.6 some time ago, 3.0 and 3.5 were too darn slow on Xandros even with the GTK update. A 900MHx processor will never be a speed demon, but you I have to give him a chance with a better than Xandros OS.
Personally, I stay with 3.6.x until the end of the support. I don't see the need to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox now, especially on Linux.
