If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Installation of Windows 7 and Microsoft Office registration.

I have a laptop gave me a few years ago by my University because of my dyslexia. The lap top came with Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 already installed OME. I have no number or product key, I want to remove Vista and install Windows 7, which I brought it. How can I save Microsoft Office during this operation.

I don't know what is 'OME of office. "  There is no such sequence.  Perhaps you mean "OEM", but which is not yet say what you have.  Perhaps mean you "Office Home and Student 2007".  For example, why not open Word, click on the file tab, then help.  Your office suite should be registered.  There may be a place where you can download your suite Office 2007.  See http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-office_install/here-are-the-download-locations-for-office-2010/ac67aa2f-dc1c-46f4-8b1d-ca00b3f02a18

Legally, if someone gives or you sells a PC, they are bound to you or sell you the licenses for the software installed on this PC as well.  Apply to the University for the license keys they need you.  They should also provide all material supplied with the PC as the installation diskettes.

Maybe your PC has a recovery partition.  In this case, you can create a recovery disc for yorself.  These records must contain the material to reinstall everything that came installed in the factory.  See if you can create these discs, an optical disc or on a USB key.

There are free tools that can help you recover the licesne key of installed software.  See this: http://answers.microsoft.com/message/1d5260c5-0dff-4756-9b53-82f0edc9c498?threadId=09835b9f-eeb6-4aee-87e0-c553e05e8031

    Dear support team,

I have a Compaq Presario model: CQ3132L; Product ID: NY682AA-AB4 and serial No.: CNX00304C2. Today, I had a problem while giving a configuration with windows 7 Ultimate. A blue screen appeared and the error code was: 0x0000007B. There is a link below which shows the exact screenshot I encountered during the installation. I need a solution as soon as POSSIBLE because my PC died and I can't spend a single day without her. Thanks in advance

Enter the BIOS by typing /holding F10 key to power on. Check if the hard disk controller is set to AHCI or IDE mode. AHCI mode should work, but if it's the current setting, change IDE. If it is set for RAID on AHCI change.

  • Installation of Windows XP and Windows 7 on the same machine

I install Windows XP on my Windows 7 computer.

I tried to install Ubuntu, which has changed the BIOS and basically screwed.
So I had to get the Windows 7 disc and repair the system.
Would be the XP Setup something like that? If I had to get the Windows 7 disc, or the BIOS would be the same?
It's that simple, install the operating system and launch it from the start screen?
    Thank you.

    Hello

First thing to do is to check on the website of your computer manufacturer to see if this model of yours has XP drivers available.

If no XP drivers are available for this purpose, you would be wasting your time trying to install XP.

If the XP drivers are available, here is information for dual boot the two OSs.

original title: HELP for the installation of Win XP.

    Hi Jorge,.

So the only thing I can think is that it is a sort of master/slave thing.

Your IDE HDD will be a Knight, probably alongside where the power cable is inserted, to dictate whether the player will be considered to be a master, slave, or cable select. Assuming that it is the only HARD drive in the PC, make sure it is designated "master". Then, in the BIOS, make sure that the boot order is specified as HDD0 first (as opposed to HDDx where x is greater than zero).

In addition, assuming that the data cable is the new type of Ribbon with strands of 80, make sure that the blue connector of the IDE data cable is in the motherboard and that the end of the black connector is in the HARD disk and, if it is a two-disc data cable, do not use the gray connector.

  • How can I restore previous e-mails after re-installation of Windows Vista and using Windows Mail?

How can I get previous emails after reinstalling windows, use windows mail. I have windows vista. I used the mail for windows for years. my computer just crashed and I had to install new to include windows-based messages. now, I've lost all the previous insalliation e-mail. can I get it back?

    original title: previous emails

If you reinstalled Vista without saving your messages, they are gone, unless you have kept a copy of messages on the server. If it is a POP3 account, you must have done this choice. If it is an IMAP account, messages must be on the server.

  • can someone walk me through the installation of windows 98 and then upgrade (SE) then the upgrade xp off that?

any help would be appreciated - we could even make it through the registration form if it would make it easier

You don't need to install 98 98SE then XP!  Just start with XP and when he wants to for validation qualification just previous OS Exchange temporarily the XP for the 98 or 98SE CD-ROM and then swap back the XP disc to continue.  You can also do the same thing with the ISO Images as well.
