Installation of Windows on Visual PC 2007
Hey this is my first time using Microsoft answers, Ok, I need to know how to install Windows on Visual PC where can I get the OS it's all
You buy the operating system to a virtual machine as you would for a physical machine that does not have an operating system. You can also buy the full version of the operating system, unless you are the owner of the eligible support for a version upgrade (and eligible media are not installed on a system); the virtual machine is almost like having another computer - it is inside a computer!
If you are just experimenting with Virtual PC 2007 might interest you in trial of Microsoft's Windows 7 Enterprise 90 days for computer scientists. It is only valid for a 90 day evaluation, it is the full version.
Windows 7 Enterprise 90 - day Trial
BTW - for Virtual PC 2007 you want the 32-bit version (x 86) (Virtual PC 2007 cannot run x 64 version).
I hope this helps.

I have a Mac, installed Fusion and must now install Windows 2007. I have a product key for it and got the download but cannot install it on Mac because it's an .exe file and the Mac cannot read until I have install Windows. Help, please
1. you try to install Windows XP, or Microsoft Office 2007?
The following article contains information about the installation of Windows XP on Mac. After the installation of Windows, you should be able to install other Windows software, including Microsoft Office software.

I bought my current PC with Windows XP Professional & Office 2007 already installed so no CD or the key provided, and the company I bought to is no longer in business so no help there.
I bought a new PC without OS and I'm looking for a way in which I can transfer my operating system existing Windows XP and Office Suite for my new PC, or I have to buy a new version of these two which, as I've already paid for them once, seems a little unfair.
You can't transfer legally of the operating system (Windows XP Pro) because the license for your OEM (preinstalled) version is valid only for the computer on which it was initially installed.
However, you should be able to transfer Office 2007. Use a tool such as Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to determine the CD key for your Microsoft Office installation and then ask Microsoft for a new CD. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246
I'm running a Dell XPS ONE 2010 with Vista Home Premium SP2 2009. About two years ago, I noticed that Windows Installer has stop working and I could not install Microsoft programs or uninstall most programs, was able to load 3rd programs like Turbotax, but could not uninstall them. I bought a Microsoft Expression Web software and had to pay MS $100 to load. MS uninstalled Office 2007, cleaned Windows, install Expression Web and reinstalled Office 2007. When Ms. Load Expression Web, they advised me to use Revo Uninstaller which may be required to work. because the normal MS uninstaller does not work I can not install any MS programs like the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor or other software from Ms. When installed MS Expression Web, they said that they could not fix the failure of the installer without a custom reinstall of Vista, I chose not to. Strangely, the MS Windows updates work fine.In the last three months, I have read and tried all of the suggestions of MS to fix this problem without success. The installation failure message is "the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if Windows Installer is not correctly installed... »Now I want to install new software to create a web site, but it will not be installed. I bought the Windows 7 Upgrade Home Premium package but it fails with the message of my computer is not compatible with Windows 7. I suspect that the upgrade fails because the installation Service fails.I don't want to do a custom installation of Windows 7 because of the work required to reinstall all my software.Any recommendations for restoring the installation Service will be appreciated, if this isn't the right forum for this problem, please let me know.Thank you, Bruce in a magical forest.Click Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator. The XP cd does not have the SCSI drivers to recognize the Buslogic or LSI SCSC automatons used in its ESX virtual machines. If you have created your VM with a type of buslogic SCSI adapter, you will need to download an image of a diskette of drivers from the link below.
(1) (copy the file FLP to your ESX Server (you can put it on the VMFS data store).)
(2) change your VM and change the diskette to use an image file. Then navigate to the file FLP. Make sure that the connected to the power supply is turned on.
(3) turn on your virtual machine. During the installation of Windows at the right time, press F6 to add drivers for storage and then load the driver for the drive of the virtual machine.
If you use the controller logic LSI - see this link - http://virtrix.blogspot.com/2007/09/vmware-installing-windows-xp-on-esx.html
When installing windows on a MAC, I deleted my partition mac completely and I am now left with windows 7 to my mac book air. Y at - it an option to install mac, I don't mind losing the windows partition
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.
I see that you deleted by mistake your Mac partition during the installation of Windows. The partition itself deleted or was it the Mac OS that has been erased, leaving an empty partition?
If the latter, you can reinstall OS X from OS X Recovery. See this article for how that should be done: On OS X Recovery
Otherwise, you can use Internet recovery (Command-Option-R, as opposed to the command-R) to repartition the entire hard drive and install the version of Mac OS X provided on your Mac. Who is finished, you can upgrade to El Capitan via the App Store > bought.
I deleted the old partition 10 windows using bootcamp, upgrade of the space itself.
I ran BootCamp again to set up windows 10 pro, as I had already installed on my end 2012 21.5 "iMac and the wizard successfully install on a USB stick, my Windows 10 ISO and any software downloaded from Apple.
After restarting, start the configuration of Windows 10 until the selection of the partition.
I, as the statement says, choose partition, BOOTCAMP and Format. Then I click Next, but the Windows says:
"I can't create or find a partition...". »
So I can't install it... What is going on? How can I fix this as never before appeared?
Disconnect the external storage, perform the following two procedures and then only connect the USB Flash drive containing the installer W10.
How is it possible to delete partitions, if in disk utility, there is no possibility to click on the '-' key?
So I made a failure (several) attempts to install windows 10 on my new iMAC.
I could download an ISO of windows and start the bootcamp assistant.
In the last attempt of last night, I selected the bootcamp in windows installation partition, however, installing windows said it was impossible to read the hard drive.
I then re-formatted this partition (BOOTCAMP) in the installation of windows, and after that, still could not read.
Then, I deleted the bootcamp partition in windows and re-created a partition on "unallocated space" in the windows installation.
Installing windows 10 still wouldn't move forward then I've bailed out and went back to OS X with the hope of turning it back on (again) by deleting partitions.
I was unable to delete the Mac partition.
Then, I deleted this partition (the one original bootcamp) and reformatted as OS x journaled. At least now, I can see the Partition.
However in Diskutil, I was then impossible to delete this Partition. There is also a small partition 16 MB that cannot be erased.
Wizard bootcamp will be past a pop up station: the startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.
So I will now try to delete these partitions (the boy and the training camp original one) merge into the original and give then installing bootcamp, another go when I have a lot of energy!
any help would be appreciated. I'm a little cautious to use Terminal command lines for fear of ruining my new computer.
1. your iMac has a Fusion drive?
2. don't mix to disk utility and Wizard of BC. They can lead to a host of issues.
3. If you do not typos in the Terminal, they provide much more rich in detail. You have a Time Machine backup, put in place?
4 can you post the output of the following Terminal commands?
Cs diskutil list
sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0
The "sudo" commands will prompt to enter your password, and there do not appear to come back. You can also see caution against improper use 'sudo' and the potential loss of data due to an "abuse" of the order.
I am trying to install Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite 855.
At present, we have 8 Windows is installed. The computer runs about 05:00 and 23:00 without obvious problems. for example no 'blue screen of death '.
Secure boot is disabled and the boot mode changed to UEFI to CSM.
The computer starts correctly on DVD player and the message "starting Windows 7", then on the logo.
Shortly after, the computer will not quiet i.e. no noise among readers and seems to stop and nothing happens. (we left on during several hours, just in case where)
Different disks of Windows 7 have been tried with the same result.
We also tried exchanging the hard drive completely and replacing it with a new drive with no success.
The computer is now running Windows 8 back without any obvious problem, but we want to run Windows 7!
Have u tried to boot the installer of windows 7 on USB?
Hey, does anyone know if the latest machines Toshiba supports the installation of Windows XP,
It is commonly accepted to support only Windows 7 and OS later?
I tried to install Windows XP Pro SP3, 2008 version on the machine Satellite C660 released in 2011.
and he crashed at the beginning of the installation. Is it possible that the Bios prevents
forcing to work with Win 7?
Or some drivers are missing in XP installation package, which makes XP incompatible with HW?
On this forum, you will find number of threads where you can find answer to your question and also good explanation how to do to install Windows XP Home edition on the new laptop models.
> I tried to install Windows XP Pro SP3, version 2008 on the satellite C660 released in 2011.
and he crashed at the beginning of the installation.
I assume that it happens because of lack of driver SATA. It must be loaded with F6 before installation of WXP begins. You can also create the installation disk of Windows XP Home edition with the integrated SATA driver. How to do this you can read
If you have any other questions you are welcome.
By the way: you have created recovery DVDs before you started the installation of Windows XP Home edition?
I was given a 2nd hand Satellite Pro 4300 notebook PC series of my brother. Its shows be quite slugglish (over the start time of 20 minutes). I think I'm a format and a new installation of windows 2000 (windows 98se running sound) may be useful. However, I don't have the original recovery disk, although I own an original copy of Windows 2000 Professional.
Would it not be possible to do a full format and install windows 2000? Or would I meet problems, for example with driver problems, later? I know computers cell phones can be a bit of a nuisance when it comes to facilities OS!
Any help and advice would be much appreciated!
Your machine should work very well with Win2K - Toshiba have drivers available for download.
Trial and error, try to install windows via Bootcamp 10 in my MacPro 2008 (3,1) caused two windows appear when I press Alt/Option to the start-up of the facilities. None of them works.
