Installation of Windows XP on Satellite A210-133 with success

I have read many topics related to this... and no simple and easy... but accessible, so, without other comment, that's what I did... install WinXP SP2 as on any other pc/laptop... It will display an error, (just click ok and let the installation continue).

When installing WXP is done, download the drivers from the first model which has the support of Windows XP Home edition, (they work for me) and install them manually. (Again, this works for me!) Simple as that!

Oh, almost forgot! It's http://209.167.114.38/support/Download/ln_byModel.asp where u get the drivers you need for your laptop computer series A!

Good luck!

I have a toshiba satellite a210-133 that I level to the 32-bit version of windows 7.

so I look at my computer\manage and I saw that
    I don't have this controller.

Can you help me with this?

    Hi mate

To be honest I m not very well what USB controller you mean exactly.
The phone supports common USB 2.0 ports.
Windows 7 provides own drivers USB of Microsoft, who controls this USB 2.0 ports.

If the n t USB ports work correctly, then you should check if you need to install the chipset driver.
Usually such driver chipset on the chipset manufacturer page.
As far as I know the laptop uses the chipset AMD M690V (name of code RS690MC + SB600)
    So check that.

In addition several devices needs a 3rd USB driver clean.
I put t know if you intraoral machine needs these drivers, but I think that the manufacturer of this device must know this. So if you need this driver, please get in touch with the manufacturer of the intraoral machine to get this software.

  • Windows Vista does not start upward, with success since the closure complete

    Hello world

I actually had this problem for a long time, but I'm just now to a point where I'm ready to take a lead in fixing it.

I can't identify when it started, but Windows Vista does not start upward, with success of a full stop. He gets to the screen where, in general, the green bars will travel across the screen, but the green bars will not come. The screen looks dim and sits there, with the text of the copyright of Microsoft Corporation. So, after not having on the mound, I have to manually shut down the computer by holding down the power button. When I try to start again, told me to go through the Startup Repair tool. If I jump the repair, I just have to meet the same problem - a computer that will not go beyond the screen "green bar".

So, I do the Startup Repair, and told me what I do for the restoration of the system. Windows starts normally after the restoration.

Don't forget, this happens from a full stop. To remedy this, I just never completely shut down my computer. I left running and back just at the beginning of the day. The computer may start restart, it just may not start with a full stop.

Given the start of repair takes, literally, around 4 or 5 hours of full stops complete, accidental or power outages are a nightmare, I am obliged to wait 5 hours to get access to the computer. Fortunately, I have my laptop.

If someone has encountered this? I saw people talking about the loop of startup repair, but that's not the point, I have. I have yet to see any discussion of my specific problem.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

4-5 hours to do a startup repair is too long.

Often you get better results if you a using a DVD of Microsoft Vista startup repair.

Jose how to do a startup repair, etc. using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/

    Table of contents

    1. Overview of Windows Vista repair options
    2. How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair
    3. Advanced Tools Overview
    4. Conclusion

If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

  • Installation of energy-saving on Satellite A210 - 11K on Windows XP Home edition.

I have difficulties with regard to the installation of Toshiba Power Saver on my laptop. I bought it originally with Windows Vista, which now I managed to get rid of.

My first attempt to install software errors gave these "access rights" when you try to run and 0x45A when I tried to uninstall. I have read on various forums I need Toshiba common modules, but reckoned I can't find a compatible version of this software on the internet.

Any chance you could help me? I'm running Windows XP SP3 and the laptop is a Satellite A210 - 11K PSAELE

I wonder where you found the XP Toshiba Power Saver for this satellite A210-11 K PSAELE.
I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and I didn t it for Windows XP.

So I guess you tried to install an incompatible Power Saver utility.

Because many know that the SATA drives will not work when installing Windows XP, Windows XP does not have drivers for this type of hard drive.

I have located on drivers site Web for hard disk for a toshiba XP machine, but I am unable to determine which driver to install (list of 15 when I load floppy)? or it doesn't work because the machine was installed with vista?

    Hello

The SATA drivers are part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.
There are a lot of discussions on this subject.

I found these two Toshiba HowTo that describes step by step how to do:

+ How to integrate the AHCI driver during the installation of Windows XP.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD9401AN0000R01.htm

+ How to integrate a SATA AHCI driver into a Windows XP Setup CD.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB85017Z0000R01.htm

Seems the Satellite A200/S01 PSAF6A-06S01N belongs to the Australian series of Toshiba.
Drivers of this laptop are on the Toshiba on THE page but you can also download the Storage Manager Intel from the page of the European driver Toshiba or Intel page because the hardware is the same.

  • Installation of Windows XP on Satellite Pro P200

    Hi guys,.

I have a problem installing Windows XP Home SP2 (listen Slip) edition in my new Satellite Pro P200 with 2-120 GB hard drives. The vehicle currently has windows vista professional. I followed this link to a similar question on this site: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2101&OS FullName = Windows * + XP + Professional & lang = eng & strOSs = 44 & submit = Go % 21 and created disk Intel Matrix Storage manager so that I could use "F6" to install the RAID drivers during the installation of XP.

I got to the point where I was able to recognize the hard drive and I was able to select the partition where I wanted to install WXP. Once the NTFS partition has been selected and formatted, Windows XP Home edition Setup prompted me to insert "Intel Matrix Storage" diskette into the A: drive. I have this drive in my floppy USB drive.

However he didn't even read the disc. Hard drive never turned on when I pressed the enter"" key. It seemed as if the installer froze, however I was able to push "F3" to exit the installation program. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? Is the USB problem?

    Help, please!

  • How to recover Windows Vista on Satellite A210?

My friend bought Thoshiba Satellite A210. The machine is slow, so it wants to reinstall Vista.
We can get it back to the hard drive?

It doesn't have any CD to come with the laptop.

    Thank you.

The A210 was certainly delivered with the recovery DVDs Toshiba that would help you to recover the laptop to factory settings.

As I know the A210 was not equipped for HARD drive recovery option and the recovery DVDs should be in the package.

If you n t have recovery DVDs anymore, then you can order it here:

The A210-1AP belongs to the * PSAELE * series.

I guess you used the common Module that is NOT designed for this laptop.

  • How can I disable tapping on Satellite A210-103 with a Synaptics touchpad

    Hello

How can I disable tapping an A210-103 with a Synaptics touchpad.
Tapping means to me, that when I touch the touchpad of the notebook translate under circumstances like a mouse click, on which I don't want.

In the settings of the Germans, I found nothing of such "tapping."

    Jürgen

    Hello, Hans Juergen

Of course, you can turn off the tapping.

I assume that you want to disable this tapping and instead of tapping you want to use the two buttons on the touchpad. Am I wrong?

    This can be disabled
Control Panel-> mouse-> last tab settings of the device (or similar).
There you have to choose the Synaptics TouchPad settings

The new window should open, and you could find a lot of different details and parameters.
You must mark the second option tapping. It s from the point of view of all.
Here you uncheck the option enable tapping

    That s all ;)

  • Instructions for the installation of Windows 10 on Dell Optiplex 755 with running Windows 7

I need instructions on how to install Windows 7 to 10 Windows on a Dell Optiplex 755.

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).
