  I can't make a copy of the surface of the glass of the printer. Automatic advance works great, time to take the paper and print a copy. In the past, printing from glass was not a problem.   Since I upgraded my OS from Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows I have not been able to print to my printer all in one c310 or have I been able to use the Solution Center software.  I tried to update the software and drivers from hp website, but when I click on the download button, nothing happens.  Any advice?

• Why my Kindle fire can not find my HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-one printer - C309a with ePrint.

  I downloaded the HP ePrint onto my Kindle Fire (first generation).  The app has been obtained from the Amazon AppStore I looked printer apps for Kindle Fire.  I use the HP ePrint with my iPhone4 and iPad 2 and can print from both of them with her.  Kindle fire can't find the printer on my network wireless using ePrint.  I wonder why this happens when two other mobile devices are easily.  Can someone tell me what I could do in order to access the printer all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium Fax - C309a on Kindle fire?

  I set up the connection on the HP printer wireless and was able to print from my Kindle on it.  However, my iPhone and iPad will be printed on the HP printer via wireless connection.

  I reconnected my USB cable at the airport, but left the WiFi of the HP printer and now I can print from the iPad and iPhone / Kindle.  My Inspiron 1525 PC and my PowerBookG4 can print on the HP printer using WiFi or via the USB connection.

  My C310 series 3-all-in-one hp photosmart print no black ink on the page.  The cartridge is new, and all ink cartridges are full.  The printer is 3 years, just one month out of warranty.  I downloaded all the updates, I'm sure and went to the website of hp troubleshooting page.  I followed all directions, twice and still no black printing.  Please help, I don't want to buy a new printer!

  Oh, while I have you on the line, while the cartridges were being cleaned, I got a message saying that I had to download the latest hp drivers, because those I have is not compatible with this version of Windows.  However, I download the latest drivers for 8.1 from your web site when I had a terrible paper jam.  After that I downloaded the latest drivers, this problem has been resolved.  But, given that I get this message re incompatibility, I need to re-download?  It was only a couple of weeks (up to three) that I downloaded the drivers.

• HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-One Printer-C309a-new black ink cartridge will not print

  I just installed a new black cartridge (made by HP) what print quality became poor in the middle of a job.  He completed the job just fine, but when I tried to print later, the parts of the document that are in color/black and white will be printed.  Black is simply absent from the document.  the level of supply shows as thin and all the diagnostics indicate that there is no probem.  I have not received the error messages.  I tried to turn the printer power switch.  I tried to clean the print heads.  I tried to uninstall & reinstall the cartridge.  I do not have the black cartridges extra to try to see if that does not solve the problem, but as stated above, it worked at first.  I have just printed on ordinary regular white printer paper.  I tried all the relevant measures in the troubleshooting document of poor mailed print quality HP elsewhere on this page.  nothing worked!  another post mentioned someone resetting the printer, but did not say how it was done.  any ideas on a solution? Thank you!

  To reset the printer, follow these steps:

  While the unit is turned on, remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug the power cord to the back of the printer, then turn on the device. That will complement a power reset.

  Now, lack of black printing can be the result of a number of things. If it's only missing say when printing from Word, then print settings in Word are set to grayscale only (or something similar) which would exclude the black cartridge. If all programs, so it's either the main print in grayscale settings only the value or the cartridge/print head is blocked to the top/Sales. If this isn't the print settings, then create a report of print quality and follow the steps described in this document:

  I have a printer HP deskjet 3050 all-in-one series J610 which I use with Windows Vista Version 6.0 (Build 6006: Service pack 2).  The connection is by USB port.  I have not used the printer for a while, but did all the maintence checks & it's good to go.  When I want to print a letter the only thing that is printed is the e-mail address that is blue in color.  I think the problem is in the settings of the features of the printer.  I can print the letter in gray scale, but it is not easy to read and is not suitable for business relationships.

  I would appreciate help with this problem.  A definition of the terms used in the features of the printer can help me to solve it in myself.

  January 23, I got an error on the printer that says 'offline' and I noticed that the Wireless Watch icon is no longer on my printer.  I can connect to the internet.  I went through all the steps in the order on how to solve this problem on the HP site, but nothing helped.  I also looked for the firmware and the new software.  The firmware will not be completed the last step (peripheral location).  I can add a printer and print and fax, but I can scan is no longer.  In the print window there used to be an icon of a printer and a scanner, and now there is nothing.  Someone has any ideas on how to solve this problem, I've done research and been trying since January?

  Thanks for the reply.  FYI I already reinstalled so I started step 2 and got the below error when I tried to open the Scan task manager and I don't know what is wrong and what to do now.

  HP Scan cannot be opened because of a problem.
