Installed Layered Service Provider (LSP) is defective, lose the internet connection

One of my computers lose the ability to connect to the internet once a day or two.  When this happens, I can not connect through broadband or modem.  Usually, he regains the connection after an hour or two.  It also includes the connection when I restart the computer.  The problem started after about a year of use on this computer.  The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757 with Vista Home Premium, Version 6.0 (Build 6000).  Other computers do not have this problem.

Windows Network Diagnostics displays the message:

A required network component is not working properly on this computer

A provider bunk (LSP) installed is defective.

Remove the defective network component

I have thoughts on what is causing the problem and how to fix it.

    2. you receive a specific error message/code when you lose the network connection?

3 did you change on your computer before the show?

According to the description of your problem has been the issue is not specific to a single computer, because you lose the connection to both of your computers at the same time. Keeping this in mind I recommend you contact AT & T by clicking the link http://www.att.com/esupport/

If AT & T guide you indicating that the problem is with your computer, you can then follow the steps mentioned below:

    Hey people,

hope you could help me. I did a new clean install of Win7 (32 bit) on my Toshiba Sat, C660-2TQ.

His job very well, except one thing:
the adapter Realtek RTL8188CE-in my laptop is just terrible...

I installed the latest driver for this Home Premium wifi, but I lose the conn. to the internet all the time.
While I have to disconnect in the bottom right corner my laptop and connect again manually.
I have to do this every minute or so and its very annoying.

I saw read several discussions about the problems with this specific wifi adapter, but no solution has helped me...

I didn't install all the listed drivers (34 available for me) but then what I Normand to update my BIOS or would it be a driver as the driver for the touchpad is necessary to get my wifi working properly?

Hope you guys could help me...

    honestly desperate

    cordially :)

    Hello

WiFi disconnection problems have different causes and its not easy to say why it happens.
So, you will need to check each step and each option.

First of all, you will get the latest version of the driver for this adapter WLan on the Realtek driver page:
    [Download driver Realtek RTL8188CE | http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level= 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = EU tr]

Would recommend that you do not install this driver.
Before you begin with the installation, uninstall the previous driver.

Secondly: it would be possible that this issue isn't related WLan driver and update the driver wouldn't help you much. In this case you should check the other parameters.
I recommend you to check the router settings and test different standards WLan (802.11 B / G or N).

In many cases, the problems of compatibility between the router and wireless network card could lead to similar to your question.
Of course, you should also go to Device Manager-> card WLan-> properties-> Advanced tab
and must check if you can switch between the WLan standards singles (802.11 B / G or N)
Power management also in tab (last tab) you must unselect the option to turn off the device to save power.

  • MacBook loses the Internet connection often for no apparent reason

Year old MacBook Air loses connection Internet (cable modem) almost every day, in my house and other places where the connection is wireless.  I have an appointment in the preferences system, network and cross the help me / diagnostic process and after all of the steps, he said the connection seems to work, and when you do that, it is.  This does not happen with my old iMac that often turns at the same time.

If "old year" almost means "one year", then I strongly suggest that you take it to a Genius Bar for the hardware test before the expiration of the warranty.

  • I lose the internet connection randomly but never lose my wireless network connection.

I use a hp pavilion dv9500 with 64-bit vista sp2 and built in a wireless adapter that will fall randomly my internet wireless connection, but maintains my wireless network connection with an excellent signal strength.

    My (non-permanent) fixed
I know how to reconnect to the internet, but it forces me to diagnose a repair my connection. It then displays "cannot connect to Server primary dns (75.75.75.75)"after which it gives "things to try" who never work and a button 'Reset the ip address' that I click. " repair bar will fill up to half way and go to a new screen solution that shows more 'solutions' and a "reset wireless adapter" button which I click. the remedy bar will fill and then display windows can not solve the problem and go for help. I then manually disconnect from the wireless network and my computer will automatically reconnect to the network and to the internet. It takes about five minutes to fix, but it happens so often that it is getting boring. The process will not work if I only to reset the ip address and then disconnect from the network, only to reset the wireless adapter and then disconnect, or just disconnect from the network and reconnect. I have to reset the ip address and the wireless adapter and then disconnect from the network.

The internet connection will tend to disconnect when I watch a lot of youtube videos, when I download large files like a game on steam, or just just randomly when I use it. I'll use it for a long time and he can't let it go, but sometimes it will go down to ten minutes after I had just reconnected in a drop-down list. It happens randomly without another warning that download time will increase from 2 mb to 50 k in two seconds all about or stop the loading of a youtube video when I look at it.
I searched everywhere for an answer, but it's as if it were a new problem for all humanity or just im the only person who does not know how to solve this problem, because there are no forums or FAQ not related to my problem. It is not so much a serious problem such as an irritating problem that appears at inconvenient times or when I just want to relax and watch a video. It takes some time to reconnect and even though I know how it would be better if my connection would just stay connected to the internet at any time.
I have no idea what the problem could be that whenever I have find I never get related problems. all advice or solution would be great.
I also share this modem with other three commonly used computers: a wired office and two other laptops that the two are connected wirelessly. both other laptops do not have the same problem as mine. My router is a linksys e3000 wireless router.

  • Windows 8 I lose the internet connection after waking from sleep mode

My wife has a new laptop from Toshiba with Windows 8. When he wakes from sleep mode, it detects all wireless signals. If it restarts the computer, it detects our own wireless, as well as all the neighbors signal. Is there a simple way to correct this trend? She dislikes having to reboot the computer whenever she wants to use it.

Very interesting what's happening on a new machine. Are you sure the original wireless network card driver has not been updated (i.e. through Windows Update or its equivalent at Toshiba?)

I guess that the wireless network card driver doesn't handle well "message sent" by the system when it changes the power state change leading to a 'dormant' device (in this case the WiFi network) on the revival of the fashion Watch (same problem with the Hibernate?).

Not knowing your model Toshiba, or wireless network card let me suggest you try the following if options exist for 1 # *:

    1. Go to the section of the network adapters and Device Manager. Right-click your wireless card, and select Properties. Go to the power management tab, uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device and check allow this device to wake the computer , and then save your changes
    2. Go to the control panel and Power Options to change the parameters of the plan (for the selected power Plan), and then select change advanced power settings / wireless adapter / power save Mode / connected and select value is A maximum Performance otherwise affect this value

    * Not sure about my translation of terms/options used above - I am not in an American version

If the above does not help I'd you make investigations with Toshiba on this issue as the owner of a new machine, you're probably eligible for a level of support.

+ Feel free to bring your network card and Toshiba models - this helps in search of possible measures and troubleshooting. And it could help other people if solve you the problem sooner or later...

    Hope this helps

    See you soon

    LZ.

  • Update invites me to install a service pack Windows, but whenever I do, I lose my internet connection.

I use internet 8. Windows Update repeatedly continues to ask me to install the service pack that when I do I lose my internet connection and there to remedy, I come to restore the system to a previous date to get my internet connection

    Hi James,

1 Windows operating system you are using?

2 are you facing this problem after installing service pack (SP) or at the time of installation of SP?

If you are faced with the question after the installation of the service pack, you can visit the computer manufacturer and try to update the drivers of network card on the latest version and check.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

You also try to launch the troubleshooter from the following link and check.

  • Why my ipad loses the wifi connection when I abandon my modem wireless of Qwest

Why my ipad loses the wifi connection when I abandon my modem wireless of Qwest

WiFi connections are losing their strength increases the distance between the router and so as a general rule, there are some conflicting objects

    Try the following steps please

The following actions and after each test to see if the issue is resolved - if yes, then you can omit the following steps - I tried to list them in ascending order of the effort at least on a Mac and / or an iDevice

    1. Check if the problem is related to a single device and if other devices connect normally-
    2. If the answer 1 is 'yes' - try to connect the device assigned to somewhere else if possible - coffee or the University
    3. Perform a forced - restart cela do not delete or purge all data and allows to solve many problems - here is how - press and hold the Off / On Home button and at the same time for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Allow normal startup upward.
    4. Settings - WiFi - < network name > - Click on forget network - do a restart forced according to 3 and then add again the network
    5. If home - reboot the router by unplugging it for 60 seconds (power) and the plug and reconnect - obviously, this step can be done in a public place like a cafe or airport or University. While you're there - make sure your router is working on the latest firmware (check manufacturer's website)
    6. Settings - general - reset - Reset network settings - remember to have very practical WiFi passwords because it erases the WiFi passwords
    7. If it is a new specific net device in your home - make sure that the router gives enough DNS for all numbers which must / wants a connection - stuff like the printer, Chromecast get overlooked - ask for more details on this so not sure option
    8. Backup the device to iTunes - restore as NEW (no) - see if solves problem - if yes - restore backup
    9. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.
