  Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

  I suggest you try the following steps and check if it helps.

  a. you restart, and then press F8 after the bios screen comes up to bring up the windows boot options menu.

  b. Select "safe mode with command prompt" and press ENTER.

  (c) in the command prompt, type del c:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe and press ENTER.

  d. restart the computer and make sure that the Windows Installer service is set to automatic and started.

  e. try to install the Microsoft security essentials again.

  So I tried to get this to work at least for a day now, but whenever I try to launch my new game I'm away I kept getting this error: "your DirectX Runtime is up-to-date. Download and install this file from Microsoft. ' When I was re-directed I downloaded, it opens and clicks on agreed and all this things, but after 10 seconds initialization, it gave me this error: "Setup could not download the file. Please try again later or check the connection to the network. " I checked all that nothing seemed to be wrong, I did it again and again and again. So I just went to a solution or any news for DirectX. So far, no luck.

  I am running on DirectX 11 right now, is if there is a new DirectX or am I a jerk, and that is a different problem? I can't understand it.

  When you register as a seller on TPT you can then go to their forum and find all your answers.  Click on your dashboard (you'll see that once you signed) and you will find the forums where the seller go to questions and support.  I hope this helps.

  I know that Windows 10 will be a free Windows 7 upgrade or 8/8.1 for the first year.  I run Vista Ultimate, and I would like to upgrade to Windows 10 as well.  I'm not interested in upgrading my Vista installation - it's almost 10 years and it's time to start over.  I'll be able to install Windows 10 from scratch and use my Vista license to activate Windows 10?  I totally understand don't want not to support an upgrade of a system of directly to 10 Microsoft Windows Vista, but Vista licenses will be able to 'upgrade' to Windows 10 licenses?  I have not found information on it online.  Everything speaks to us (ameioration) for Windows 7/8/8.1 for Windows 10.  It would be a shame for Microsoft to extend an olive branch to some legitimate users of Windows and others do not.

  It's a SCAM! Microsoft does not make that neither have they partners that do and don't they hire contractors or individuals or even to find volunteers to do. There are probably thousands of these companies out there do every day - we get two or three posts like this (or more) each day ask about it. You are lucky who have recognized the scam enough not to be sucked in and eventually identify theft, infections, hacking your computer, convince you to buy software or services you either did not need or that do not really exist at all and all sorts of nefarious stuff. You'd be surprised how much contact us AFTER THAT that they realized they had been duped asking what to do. Don't waste time talking to these people, not give them any personal information it is, don't be fooled by what they can get allows you to see on the computer - in fact, not do anything they suggest on your computer or even to visit Web sites they recommend and for the love of God don't give them access to your computer.

  Microsoft knows this is happening, but with these companies popping up like dandelions, or closing and changing names when discovered and operating mainly from abroad, it would take an army of lawyers to sue each other. They do the best they can, but they are just too many and more added every day. People need to pay attention to these things. They occur not only by telephone, but also by e-mail, instant messaging, mail and all the ways imaginable. Forget not that Microsoft doesn't this and hang up or remove the emails or messages or mail from someone claiming that they do because they know the information on your computer or that you want to get information from you to confirm your account so that it will not be closed and asking you your name of user and password and all sorts of other personal information. Microsoft DO NOT!

I also discovered that just by clicking you will find a lot of information - for instance if you right click on to the bottom in the left corner, where the Start button should be, a menu will appear with Control Panel, search, run and all sorts of things. If you right-click on any web page a menu will appear, much like with a print on file menu, save as, send to and more. If you right-click on the search bar (top) charms button all programs on your computer will display. Maybe Windows 8 is not if badly but sometimes I can't find an arrow to the left or even the task bar or the address bar and it's still boring. I also hope that the Start button was left where it has been for twenty years with all programs, etc. Well, I guess that's what they call progress...
