integration of waveform

Hello

I'm trying to understand the integration of a waveform. I used two vi to calculate the integral of a sine wave, although the shape of the graph is different values on the y-axis are different. Can someone explain this? and that is a better way to integrate a waveform. If I had to calculate the integral set of a waveform to 0 - t, what is the best approach to achieve this? I do not know to integrate a waveform not represented in terms of formula. My goal is to integrate a sinus acquired signal.

essentially, they are very simillar below.  I tend to avoid the additional overhead of the Express vi.

The concepts that you'll want to research are"matrices", "indexing of tables", 'automatic indexing', 'cluster' and 'type of waveform data'.

The loop IN the first VI I sent used the automatic indexation to take each element of a table 1 d of the clusters and perform operations on them separately to convert them to a waveform.  Exit tunnel also uses automatic indexing so that the end result is a table 1 d of waveforms.  I used the loop, so that no matter how many items appear in the table, you get a corresponding number of signals to the "writing on a file of measures."

In this case, because the output of the FRF is a single cluster (and not an array of clusters), the loop FOR was not necessary.  The VI attached this time takes the output of cluster of FRF and maps the cluster to a single components build the wave function and you get a result of unique waveform.

I have no sound and Vibe loaded on my computer at the moment, so I can't run your VI and see the result of the integration of the snout to the Cloaca VI.  The output data type is "Table 1 d of waveform" and your indicator and your two FRF can accept only waveforms.  I put a function between integration and the indicator/FRF array index, but if there is more than one waveform in the table, it would be the wrong solution.  My solution corrects the broken wires but throws waveforms 2,3,4... If they exist.

  • HSDIO trigger for the transmitted waveform record

I use a card OR-6552 (actually this system eventually will use 7, so I'll try to get my head wrapped around the trigger events).

I use dynamic generation to generate a binary pattern on the pins 0-15.

I'm tracking the trigger from start to RTSI6.

    I use a software trigger.

On the side of the reading, I use a dynamic Acquisition.  The start trigger is triggered off the coast of RTSI6.

Everything works exactly as it is supposed to. I get the binary model, BUT

The read function is advanced clock EXACTLY 50 cycles.  So, I get a '0' reading the lines of channel for 50 cycles before the binary sequence appears in my wave of reading.

I suspected that it has anything to do with the outbreak of the reference, so I tried to define the source of command reference for RTSI6 also, with delay sample 0, and I get a timeout.

I'm so close, but I would like to know why I'm getting a pre-roll buffer 50 cycle even if I did not specify...

    CCITest,

If you are looking to synchronize several 6552 juries, you will want to use TCLK.   NEITHER TCLK is the synchronization scheme products Memory Core (SMC)-based and integrated with National Instruments synchronization.  More information about the details behind this technology can be found in the help HSDIO document (start > programs > National Instruments > NOR-HSDIO > Documentation > NI Digital Waveform Generator-Analyzer Help).  Inside of this help document, a good starting point is the title of programming > references > NOR-TClk synchronization help > preview OR-TClk.

NOR-TClk will allow you to start several cards at the same time.  Leave your post I don't know if you are using a card PCI-6552 or PXI-6552 module, however when you use a version PCI RTSI cable allows up to 5 tips be connected.  Using PXI, you can fill the frame and synchronize your 7 boards.  There are several examples that show how to use NOR-TClk.  These examples can be found under start > programs > National Instruments > NOR-HSDIO > example.  Then choose your preferred language and select synchronization.llb or the sync folder.

  • full waveform graph to calculate the area under the curve over time

    Hello

If please find my attached VI and help me please for integration to get area undercut for my chart of waveform.

I would like to find my wave power wind energy production chart oever within one month of time.

I think I have to integrate to get the area under the curve and so I m now using tool integrated into labview attached.

As I did not wait years for my result and so I want to make sure that the tool that I m using is correct.

Please advise me what method I will use for my chart.

    Dominique says:

I would like to integrate my table of power over time (table of power is on each interval of a minute) and the entire graph is one month. So, I'll put dt = 1?

You put dt at some units you want in the final result. If you want Wh, you want dt in hours. If the spacing is currently a minute, you can express in fractional hours and use the result as dt. Try dt = 1/60.

  • waveform editing with VI wave generation

    Hi all

One can you please explain or give link to the good example of waveform VI integrated.

    (1) my question is how the input waveform will get changed as output, when the three terminals (input waveform, dt, y) are bound to certain data.

    (2) what will happen to the components of output waveform?

I went through examples of labview in labview/samples/waveforms, but I have not found a single example where all these three terminals were connected to certain inputs. Can someone explain or give me a good example

    Concerning

    Vaidhin.

If you have only the Y, t0 and connected dt, the waveform data type is created - do not change. The waveform of Build is just like the Bundle or bundle by name. If connect you to the waveform input, then this waveform is modified by the other parameters that you have connected. If you want to change the existing waveform dt, wire you a new dt value so the output waveform would reflect just this change.

  • integration simple cosine

I'm testing the integration in LabVIEW full 2010 with 1 d VI digital integration.  the VI of the sample in which a cosine waveform is pulled apart and feeds a VI 1 d numerical integration is attached.  I only feed in the first quarter of the table because I want only the integration from 0 to pi/2.  the integral must be 1, but the retourne.0159 VI.  I don't get that.  what Miss me?  Thank you in advance and have a nice day.  Lucas

DX for integration is pi/2/250.  You want to go from 0 to pi/2.  And each section of which is 1/250th of a sample.

This thread (pi/2) / 250 instead, the dT of waveform info and you will get 1.

Read the help for the function of numerical integration.  DT is the size of the interval.  No schedule as it is a form of wave.

    EDIT:

I see Darin already picked up on the problem while I was studying and typing.  As I said, read the detailed help about the function of integration.

Your interval is the synchronization of waveform dT who est.0001.  The size of the actual range that you want it to be is 1/250th of pi/2.

  • Find the area between the axe of waveform and time

    Hello.

I have acquired a signal to 1ms rate. I recorded in a .lvm file, and now I want to calculate the area between the axe of waveform and time. So, it's a classic integral.

So, I create a .vi separated with a module for reading measurement, but I don't know which is the right module of integration, in this case. I tried all the modules to integrate to find the area, but no good result.

PS: I also want to display this area, hasurate, somehow, but it's secondary.

    Any idea?

For the first part, we should look at your code and data.

The second use the "Fill" option available for the plot which will fill in the specify box.

  • Mathematical integration issue

    Hi all

Here's a VI I'm working... it's a Powermeter instrument that measures power through photodiode sensors. The unit is used to measure the power to 1 wavelength. I did the VI for example a range of whole wavelengths, with some time and that integrate all the values of the measured power. This way I can include the component wavelengts visible in the final value of the power measured.

However, when measuring, after integration, I get different values depending on the stage of sampling. This may not be true, since I'm able to the same wavelength understood and changing step (measures for each 10 or 50 nanometers) should not affect the final result. I think the problem is in the method of integration. A person with knowledge of mathematical integration, or the integration of screws in the version complete LabVIEW? Can anyone suggest me perhaps another VI integration? Or maybe another method. I'll be very grateful!

    Best regards

    G.

The simplest method of numerical integration is the rectangle rule. The following figure should explain it.

In your case, 'h' is the stage of sampling (in nanometers), as well as the input dt.

If you have a point each 10 nm and f (x) = 2 constant function. The area of a rectangle is so 10 * 2 = 20. Your dt should also be 10. However, if you set the dt to 0.1, the formula calculates 0, 1 * 2 = 0, 2, which is a false result. To get the correct value, you would need to have a sample of each 0.1 nanometers, so on a 10 nm range the area would be 0, 1 * 2 * 100 = 20. Another way keep the sampling on 10 nm and by multiplying the value of f (x) of 10/0, 1 = 100, so that there is 0, 1 * 200 = 20.

If you are unsure, simply generate a const waveform and play with the settings. It is easy to determine the constant elementary functionst integral and on the other, such as the sine or cosine. If you manage to get the correct value on these features, you should be able to use the same settings on your signals custom, because she has the same stage of the sample.

    I hope it's clearer now

    Kind regards

  • How to calculate the polynomial graphic adjustment of waveform

    Hi all

I am new to lab - view so would need a little assistance in one of the problem I have right now.

My problem is: how to calculate the polynomial graph of waveform data adjustment? I need to convert the waveform to XY graph data, and then use the polynomial vi made integrated to calculate the fitting?

Detail: My problem is that I have waveform graph, I calculate the vertices and the Valley, but because of the noise, my peaks and Valley detection is sometimes not exact, so to smooth the chart that I must apply the polynomial fit.

If anyone can help me in this, I'll be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Omar,.

have you seen the suggestion of Lynn above?

You already have the values of Y (your table). Now, you need build the table of X as indicated, only to replace the value of dt with your spacing from point to point. Somewhere in your code, you know that the value that you have an x-axis indicated in milliseconds...

  • Get the component "hour" of a 1 d waveform

    Hi all

I am a 1 d waveform data analysis (just have a single column on the .txt file), data produced a curve that should be analysed a two point point and get the integration. My problem is that the component "HOUR" of the waveform is not this prevent me to calculate integration from point A to point B on the time axis. Did anyone here have an idea on how to deal with this issue?

IM including one. Txt for reference and a picture of my code

    Any help is really appreciated

If you want real time values, you will need to redeem and save correctly. If you know the dt, then you can cheat and use the wave function to add it to the waveform.

I'm not sure it's possible, but the greatest effect, it's that they never updated if they should be. They also do not work properly.

Other applications that can depend on them wouldn't work, either. I don't know what could be affected, or not at all.

  • ios10 integration of voip does not not with whatsapp

Well, as seen on the video presentation of tge ios10, the integration of voip with whatsapp does not work on my iphone6s

When I get a call via whatsapp I should have the style ring regularly call appear on my lock screen, in the same way that I had received a regular phone call but instead, I get notification of whatsapp to old style.

    someone knows why?

As the Whatsapp application has not been updated since August 15, it has not yet set up for iOS 10.

Don't forget the tab updates in the App Store application or to implement the automatic application updates of settings > iTunes and App Store, which will allow you update the application once the update is released.
