Intel Anti theft does not properly
I have problems with Dungeon Itel Anti theft every 7 days blocking, as my lap top does not communicate with the server of Intel. Intel will not help me with the problem, I can't get past the call center in India, they keep promising to call me by a 'senior' techniian, but no callback.

I upgraded my Satellite A500 PSAM3E model to the most recent BIOS 1.50, now the Intel speed step does not!
My CPU is always 2 GHz +, I have chagned power Plan to balanced, but no change... with precedent the CPU was about 800 MHz.
When I try to change the Windows 7 power management and set the maximum CPU at 50 or 80% performance, the system hangs.
What older BIOS version were you using before update to 1.50?
I also use maximum CPU performance option for ecomode (50%), but it does not work properly.

I noticed an icon in the systray "Intel Management Engine" running on the operating system installed, especially the Intel Anti theft technology service.
My question is how to register and activate it? There is NOTHING in the software or the printed documentation that came with the laptop explaining this. There are no buttons on the screen to config the systray allowing you to do anything.
When I opened the systray icon, it says:
Intel AMT: enabled
Intel to: enabled
And if I arrived at Intel in tab, it says: "State the last system startup: not registered.
How the hell should join me? I tried to go to intel to THE Web service, and basically, you need to register, however, for the record, you need a code any. Their Web site contains the code should have come printed on the slip with the laptop. I have the portable computer box came in front of me as well as all documentation - there is absolutely nothing mentioning Intel AT, no code or something of the sort.
Is this service AT something you have to pay extra for?
I would suggest that Lenovo includes more information about Intel to with their Intel laptops that have Intel software pre-installed. I'm a professional yet found systray options from Intel to very confusing.

It is equipped with Intel Anti theft and I want to activate it. As far as I understand, it takes some service provider to activate and this provider will keep track of the device and a pill 'kill' if I have to send the application.
I contacted Lenovo to the Denmark, but they gave me a link to a company that provide some protection software.

I bought Toshiba 47L 7453 a few days ago.
It is connected to the amplifier Onkyo TX-NR535 but CEC does not properly. Volume control works fine but On / Off or stanby does not at all.

From my point of few TV and amplifier are connected some CEC (Volume control) functions that work. I think you should check the auto power settings and HDMI CEC standby control system.

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your laptop HP 2000 and the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Service is not running. Click the windows services key type.
Verify your Intel Rapid Storage Technology Service is not on the manual and the service has been started. The service should be automatic and started. Once these settings are correct, restart the laptop.
You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.
When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

Sometimes it is just dust, animal hair etc. blocking the fan. Take a can of compressed air and blow all the ports/vents/opening very carefully to see if any change.
