Intel(r) 82801GBM (ICH7-M/U) LPC Interface Controller - 27 b 9 error anyone who has obtained and solved?

Windows 7 under Device Manager, view peripheral expression unknown, apparently to do w / pilot missing for this device, wherever the information appears to be that it is associated with Intel(r) 82801GBM (ICH7-M/U) LPC Interface Controller - 27 b 9.

I tried several download sites, but most are garbage, Central, of spam or simply do not load properly and tell me that the system is not compatible, etc..

Specifications of the system, to see if they could help things here:

ASUS Z62J - 3 GB RAM 32 - bit OS

Windows 7 Ultimate
Service Pack 1 (any other still available is?)

Thanks for your time and your input.  Moderators or support engineers would be great, but everyone is welcome to chime.

2. did you of recent changes on the computer before this problem?

I suggest trying the steps and check if that helps.

a. right click on the unknown device in Device Manager.

b. click put updated driver.

c. check to see if it helps to solve the problem.

Hope this information helps. If you need additional help or information on Windows, I'll be happy to help you.

  • Dv6700 Vista-> Win7 - Intel(r) ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815-Unknown Device

Hey there, I couldn't find this one specifically for the dv6700. I had to reinstall everything, and this title was to improve the form of Vista to Windows 7.

I tried to follow this guide:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and/Windows-7-upgrade-guide-for-dv6000-dv900...

But I always came up with a problem in my device manager:

    Unknown device:

    Intel(r) ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815

    Hardware ID

    ACPI\HPQ000

    * HPQ000

I hope that this is sufficient to diagnose the problem. For another model, it seemed to be a thing of Bluetooth, but I don't think so here.

    Your help is very appreciated.

  • Windows 7 and DV6500t (ICH8M LPC Interface Controller)

I recently loaded Windows 7 on my HP dv6500t (via dualboot).  Everything went well and everything works OK except for one question.  In Device Manager, I have an unknown device.  By looking at its properties, it shows a situation: "ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815" and the driver is not available.  I tried to use sp36881 (Intel Chipset Installation Utility for ICH8) from the HP site and it did not work.  Any help?

    Hello

I suggest that you install the latest drivers for the chipset from the manufacturers Web site.
    http://www.Toshiba.com/Tai/

Alternatively, you can try to install the utility to update .inf for the chipset model of check and Intel website.

  • Close an interface based on the CRC errors

We have 4510 with double 10 gig links to 6509.  When one of our interfaces begins to accumulate the crc errors its impact on latency and availability of our users behind the 4510.  Either the interface err - disable or manually stop us it and the other link 10 gig is unlocked by spanning tree and the traffic starts to flow as usual.  Is it possible to use the EEM to detect these errors and entry of the crc and stop the interface?

I'm looking at the below as resolution:

Te5/1 trap to bypass authorization event manager applet

    "event TenGigabitEthernet5/1 setting input_errors_crc entry-op name interface entry-val 0 entry value output-comb type or output-gt exit-val 0 exit value type op - the exit time 5000 output-event-polling interval of the true 100 maxrun 10000.

action 1 cli command "configures terminal.

Action 2, command cli "te5/1 interface.

    Action 3 cli command "shutdown".

An EEM applet will work for you, but the way you have it designed could not do what you want.  Try this:

authorization of monitor_te51 event handler applet work around

event interface name TenGigabitEthernet5/1 setting input_errors_crc entry-op gt entry-val 0 increment type entry exit-val 0 out of operation eq output-type increment

command action 1.0 cli 'enable '.

Action 2.0 cli command "config t.

Action 3.0, command cli "int DUREE5/1.

    action 4.0 'closed' cli command
