Hello

Problem solved. Of wire antennas was not of all attached to the card and the other it has established relationships by chance. It took me 3/4 of an hour to turn off the battery, remove the keyboard, attach wires to the NIC (quite difficult due to lack of space) and put it all together. Then everything worked fine.

Thanks for the help, forum!

I recently bought a computer hp laptop and enjoy wireless n to my house.  I have an another hp laptop which connects to 130 Mbps and never changes.  This laptop however changes constantly and never stays in 130.  It is generally about 58 or 65 and then change during 1 second to 117 or 130 then back to slow speed.  I noticed on the laptop properly configured, it says:
    IPv4 Internet connectivity
    local IPv6 connectivity
    active state media
    130 Mbps speed

    On slow computer, he States:

    IPv4 Internet connectivity
IPv6 connectivity no internet no access
    active state media
    65 Mbps speed

I don't know if this means anything, but I guess for this.  Is there something misconfigured on laptop #2 or what?  I can't understand this.  I would like to be sure that this adapter in this laptop is also able to maintain 130 Mbit/s, but there are no at that speed.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

I had the same problem with the same Intel adapter WiFi 1000 BGN.  Two things fixed.  My router by default, the band of 2.4 Ghz to a maximum of 130 Mbps for backward compatibility.  Change this 300 Mbps.  Second if your router allows you to set the parameters for QoS make you that WMM is enabled.  Thirdly, map properties network by default to the following on the old card NETWORK interface:

Channel 802.11n for 2.4 band width = 20 Mhz only

    802.11n mode = disabled

Ad Hoc QoS = WMM disabled

The default values have the capacity "N" disabled, because when the card shipped first Wireless N routers were rare, and it has improved the flow of 'G '.  Change them to 'Auto', 'Enabled' and 'active WMM.  The last of them allows the priority to multimedia for the peer-to-peer network data local transfers (i.e. - video streaming, music between two computers in the same House).  Hope that helps.

  • Intel Wifi Link 1000 bgn short range

Hello, I have RMA had my Ideapad Y560 2 times and still have a problem, they stated that the Wifi has been tested and fully functional. Here's my problem.

I can ONLY get connected wireless to my router/modem when I'm in the same room as the router. Once I leave the room, I immediately lose the connection, or it shows as 'Access restricted' and I can not internet, even if the network is still detectable with a range of 4 to 5 bars.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium, I also tried to use GNOME linux boot cd, I've updated to latest drivers, I put wireless in the management of energy for maximum performance in all cases, I disabled the "disable wireless when power economic option" same result.

I called my ISP and they couldn't help either.

If anyone can help me please let me know, I really hope I don't have to deposit to RMA a 3rd time Lenovo customer support is really great, but these guys are making too many errors on the end of the repair.

Nope, I just got back from RMA, I was right it WAS the antennas. Works fine now, thanks Lenovo!

  • Watch WiFi is connected but will not connect to internet

I have an iPad 2 which, all of a sudden (in the Middle streaming), is more connected to the internet.  I rest the network settings, when this does not work, I have reset all settings, stopped and rebooted, all done basically.  It shows that its connected to my WiFi, but will not connect to internet.  All the other devices in my house work, then there must be a problem with the iPad.

Reset the router: just pull the power for a few seconds and reconnect. No parameter to get lost.  Other devices operating with success is not serious. The router has probably received an invalid address for the iPad.

  • Satellite L350-14F find the router but will not connect

    Hello

I just bought a new laptop Satellite L350-14F, but I can't seem to connect to my connection wireless broadband.
    My roommate's laptop connects fine.

The mine finds the network, asks for the WEP key but will not let me.

I am running Windows Vista SP1.

    Can anyone help?

Hmm. I recommend you to check the settings of the WLan router.
If the MAC address filtering enabled and that your WLan MAC address was not included in MAC address filtering, then you would not be able to connect to the router.

It would also be possible that you try to insert an incorrect encryption key

Therefore, it would be desirable to disable all the security settings on the router and then try to establish the WiFi connection.
If this would have functions, then you might reactivate the WLan security settings.

By the way; Check if an update of the Wlan driver could also sometimes there is some compatibility problems between the Wlan router and Wlan card drivers.

  • After a clean install of Windows Vista, Intel Wifi card is installed and activated, but does not detect the network.

Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista

I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.

I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.

I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.

I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.

In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.

Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

    Hello

    The on/off switch actually works?

Since it is an internal adapter to ensure it is enabled in the settings of configuration/F2 (BIOS/CMOS) often like you
Start - so look at the screen.

Have you tried the computer on other WiFi networks? You had a WiFi type problem before the
    Re-install of Vista?

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
    obstacles in the path?

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the
others you don't use anymore) - REBOOT. Start - Connect To log on to the network.

    Hello

Formatting/reinstalling is overkill. A bit like buying a new car because you have a flat tire.

To reinstall, you can use either the volume of recovery or the recovery disc, both should work pretty much the same. In general, the product key is located on the system like a sticker (on laptops usually on the bottom). If you can't find yours, you should contact the provider or your network administrator (and in fact, if there is a working system, you should contact them before doing anything).

Before you do this right, you can try this: click Start and type CMD. Right click on the menu entry that appears and choose "Run as Administrator". Click on continue in the UAC prompt. From the command line, run:

    ipconfig/release

    ipconfig/flushdns

    ipconfig / renew

Allow everyone to finish (return to the command line) before proceeding to the next. When you are finished, close the command prompt. See if that helps with your problems of connection.

I forgot my password to the original network so I restarted my WiFi router, now my computer reconizes my home wireless network and connects (accepted the new password and all), but when I open my browser, it cannot connect to the internet. My internet connection still works when I plug my laptop directly into my cable modem, and my laptop says that I'm connected to my wireless network, so I don't know what the problem is here.

  • Satellite L300-135 see WLan network but will not connect

Well well, (new laptop) initially, it worked with my BT hub at home... then decided to not stop working - receives no signal or response from the router - even though other laptops in the House can connect without any problems

and now the Wireless does not work - IE. I can see the wireless connection but cannot connect.

I don't know that the wireless is not cut (until someone suggests)

I looked for more up-to-date drivers, but nothing seems to work.

    Help, please!

    Hello

First of all, you should check if your wireless network card is correctly recognized.
I mean to check in the Device Manager!

Your wireless network card must be the Realtek 802.11 g (RTL8187B)
Download and install the latest driver WLan in the Realtek page.
    Then update the BIOS.

    Finally, reconfigure all WLan settings.
In the Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab card WLan disable energy saving settings and check the other parameters that may affect the connectivity.

    Good luck

Guys, I installed an older Linksys CM100 cable modem and when I did I lost the connection to the internet using the WRT54G Router. I can connect fine net when I go to right fromt the modem cable to the pc. I can use my home network very well. I did a firmware upgrade, does not. I'm losing my mind. It worked fine before the new cable modem. Does make sense to anyone? BTW, I can't connect to the internet via wired or wireless connections and ping www.google.com gives 100% packet loss. Ditto for a ping to 192.168.1.100 (cable modem) when the router is connected.

Thus, because no one here was able to offer all the help, I called tech support and was very surprised. I was able to get a tech immediately and without going through the 1 million on the phone buttons. The service is in India, but I could communicate well enough with him, even though I usually have people of understanding of handful who speak English as a second language. The issue that I had was that the default IP of the modem cable (192.168.1.100) and ip address of the router (192.168.1.1) were too similar. Apparently, the fact that the 3rd number 1 for both series was the cause of the problem. We changed the IP address of the router to 192.168.5.1, power cycling it and unfortunately it worked.
